    Seen a lot of joiners do this!! I used to do this on all my roofs!!! But on certain sites the NHBC have asked for further restraint straps to be fitted along side having the gabble ladders fitted and there can sometimes be an inch or two gap between the inside of the ladder timber to the block work… meaning you’d have to put a silly little timber in as a noggin where the strap flies through 😂 (NHBC are ridiculous right). So I started measuring the thickness of the ladder timber and using that as a measurement from the inside of the blockwork to the first truss meaning that there’s no gap all the way up the gabble from the inside and it looks great (for the gaffas) good graft though lad 👍 keep at it

      Yeah I know what you mean with the little nog it’s annoying isn’t it. Your method relies on the brickys been spot on with there cavity size etc for the soffit plastic to be the same all the way up etc! But yeah sounds good! Cheers for your comment 👌👌💪
