Well lol This was kind of funny... but way off base from reality! The watt rating is based on what a incodesent 100watt would be for lumens. Led is normally 1/5 actual power consumption of incodesent lights. So in reality what you showed in terms of actual watts is spot on. Summary: Every watt of power used by a incodesent to make 1 watts of light power. Led can make @ 1/5 the power input. Hope that explains how they rate it.
I think you did a good job showing those lights. I think the confusion for the wattage is probably what the equivalent lighting is for conventional light just like they use for home light bulbs. A 10 watt light is the same as a 40 watt incandescent. Keep the videos coming :)
I’m not saying your wrong, but usually LED lights are rated in watts for their halogen equivalent. Similarly in computers where CPUs are listed at say 75watts and have a power draw of 160watts
@@gabem.5691 Yeah but would you not agree that that in itself is misleading ? Marketing is whats doing us all in and mugging everybody off... For example.. I bought 2 tubes of silicone mold making stuff from amazon a few weeks back.. It said 4 ounces and showed pictures of 2, 4 ounce bottles.. So its 8 ounces, 4 in each bottle !! Nope... when I got them the bottles were 2 ounces each.. They deliberately didnt show the picture of the 2 ounce bottles, but instead only shown the picture of the bigger 4 ounce bottles..There wasnt even a picture of the 2 ounce bottles on the page.. I was fuming needles to say...lol

good comment, I was thinking the same thing. it could be the brightness is the equivalent of an incandescent or halogen ? maybe They still seem bright
If you ask me.. False advertising is the same as stealing, and should be a criminal offence.. Sick and tired of being ripped off online..

The led out put is what they are advertising.
Very informative video but that back ground music is distracting.
Shining lights in your face isnt a test.
