THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR SHARING.
The set-up is really beautifull.
Found your channel through this video, subbed. Your Audio, video, and production are all top notch! Keep up the great videos!
Thank you!
Look great, can’t wait to add some lights to my Tacoma
Great video. I just installed a pair of the driving pods with the Amber lenses on my 4Runner. I can’t wait to test these out.
Awesome!
These Lasfit ditch lights are on my soon to do list, but in amber. I do have the Lasfit Switchback flood lights in my 2015 and they work great!
Awesome!
when the video cuts and its darker out...hahaha
Awesome video!
Thank you!
Great quality video.
Thank you!
Compared to DD or BD, they seem like they have a green tint to their ambers. We had a build come through and they were sent several pairs so we did a quick comparison of them to what we had laying around. For a budget option, they aren't bad, but I do think there are better optics and truer colors out there.
They do yes not a lot but some, I think that’s due to the fact that they use a cooler led color and the amber making it that color
That’s a great point!
is it really DIY if you get it right the 1st time? great vid. Im gonna be adding lighting to my truck soon so it's very helpful.
Thanks! Hope yours turn out great!
There are no mistakes, just happy accidents.
I immediately heard the brush smacking on the leg
That's not what my momma told me...
Awesome video!!! But you got the sae fog light beam not their driving light ( at least that’s what it looked like as I have the same ones) their driving would be more focused with less width as well as the lens will have vertical lines in it! Keep up the great footage
Thank you. To clarify for other viewers, it is in fact the driving light beam. The item was provided by LASFIT for the purpose of making this video.
@@alpinetactics right on brother, just was trying to share my knowledge and experience with the company as well
What fog lights are you using? They look great
Thanks! They are the Baja designs squadron sports amzn.to/3UbO0ye
Hey buddy I know this is about a year ago and I just seen it Good video but I got to ask you a question what kind of light bar do you got I like that light bar you got if you could please let me know give me a model number and make and all that I like to get me one I appreciate it thank you
Where and how did you mount your auxbeam power distribution panel at? Did you drill holes into the side to mount it?
Yes I used a rivet tool to create a mounting location.
@@alpinetactics thanks boss✊🏻
I noticed that you added these to the 30amp fuse on the Auxbeam. If each light is 2amps why wouldnt you have put them on the 5amp fuse? Just asking as I am about to do the exact same setup (have the new AR800 Auxbeam) and trying to figure out which fuse will work .
I did it in the order I wanted it for the actual switch panel. I’m pretty sure it shouldn’t matter where you have the fuses as long as you don’t surpass the total load capacity. I’m pretty sure I ended up moving that fuse but overall mine controls pretty much just lighting anyways so I’ll never come close to the load capacity of the unit.
Would these work with Ravi Fab ditch light brackets? I’m assuming it’s all universal?
Would think so
I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s the fog light pattern either way good video and great lights
Thank you, it is not the fog light pattern
@@alpinetactics Which pattern are these? This is exactly what I need for my truck. I've been fooled too, these look like the fog light pattern.
@@dedlyop3544 I did the driving patrern
@@alpinetactics There's no driving pattern on their website. Fog, flood or Fog/flood combo. That flat wide light pattern with sharp cut-off is clearly a fog pattern. I think you would be better served for what you're after if your pods were the flood pattern.
@@terrywaters6186 they don’t offer the driving pattern anymore. Plenty happy with these free lights
It looks like from the thumbnail that the housing is black, and that’s what I want. But I can’t seem to find them in black, only chrome housing even on the “spot” type of bulbs. How did you get black? Thanks!
Mine was the driving beam pattern and I think they discontinued it. I actually switched to a flood pattern beam pattern down the line but this one does look better but functionally the flood beam pattern is much better
@@alpinetactics Thanks for responding! Darned that’s what I unfortunately figured after looking for hours lol. Great vid!
@@user-pl1hb2zn5j thanks!
Hi do you have a link to the brackets you bought?
Oh yeah! I totally forgot to include that! Thanks for reminding me: amzn.to/3B98agF
Thank you for that link! Fuck yes I been going crazy trying to find them!
My Ford Raptor has some Aux switches, some are rated 30 AMPS. So If this put out about 2Amps Per Pod. Can I out 4 pods running the same Aux switch?
As long you aren’t drawing more power then what the components are rated for I don’t see why not. I run multiple lights to the same switch as well
@@alpinetactics Omg thanks for your quick response. I’m thinking of running all 4 pods to a 1 way to 4 way Power distributor box and from there to the 30 AMP Auxiliary Cable. I’m thinking even the 10AMP Auxiliary one is enough for the 4 Pods right?
@@kebenguerrero9708 as long as the box and wires and any other components you are using are rated above the maximum current of all 4 lights put together yep.
Cool 😎. Idk about that mustache though
😂
how has the finish on the housing stood up? has it faded at all?
Great, hasn’t faded at all. I just upgraded to Baja designs recently but had no issues with them at all.
@@alpinetactics thanks for the feedback
Do the lights not come with mounting.brackets for under the hood?
No you would have to order the correct brackets for your vehicle. If you have a Tacoma like I do I linked the brackets I used in the video description.
@@alpinetactics no, I have a 2023 tundra. Hard to find a decent priced bracket
are these the 36w?
No just 18w
Nice moustache
Hey, man ,great job. But how could we contact with you?
