thanks for your input man I bought a 2013 Ram 2 years ago my first Hemi had to replace motor did some searching and found a 80,000 2014 Hemi that was in a garage kept gently used by an older couple that wrecked it runs great i put flowmasters muffler,High performance air filter throttle body spacer and a throttle controller I bought an SCT BDX tuner just the free 97 octane tune that comes with it really woke my truck up very noticable difference my next steps were a smaller tire for racing 20 look nice but not good for take off (my ametuer opinion)I have also thought about an electric fan to stop drag from clutch fan,shorty headers 87mm tbi I wanna get it jump off the line without changing gears I want to add nitrous but I got alot to learn first this is currently my work truck and primary transportation hopefully last one i have to buy Im 56 years old gonna retire early always wanted another hot rod and I love my truck she`s a lil heavy but she reals em in once she gets rolling

The 8 speed trucks will short shift first gear if you are in drive and launch hard, or spin. The only way i know to get first to rev all the way out every time is by selecting second gear before the launch, once it shifts out of first you can shift all the way up to eight and the trans will do the rest as normal, hope that made sense, its a little tough to explain. May make a video of it.
@@Rep361Texas oh I’ve learned that so far, I was meaning when you were doing the burnout and the dash was flashing, is it some hidden line lock feature? - got a single cab I’m wanting to do a NA build identical to yours, quick truck man.
@@bradyferguson5861 Oh ! Yes it's line lock, You need the Zautomotive tazer for that feature, the line lock alone is worth it for me. Heres a video to show you what all it does.
