TRX vs 4th Gen Ram on Nitrous

- We found the New 2021 supercharged TRX and we challenged it to a good ole' race in Mexico. Testing its 0-60, its 1/8th Mile time, and its 1/4 times by lining it up with my Nitrous assisted 4th Gen Ram 1500. We found out that its Launch control makes it a monster in the 1/8th mile!!

Nice run man ! What shot you spraying ? Are you 8spd ? Stock cam ?
It's essentially a 125 shot, I did have to play with the jetting to find stoich, yes it's an 8 speed and yes it is completely stock internally. 😊 Subject to change this year 🤞

If you add pedal commander in sport+ mode on setting 4 and turn on tow haul mode which changes your shift pattern would that make your truck faster of the line because it drastically increases throttle response time by alot.. Because on my stock ram with 35's in automatic shift mode on dead stop take off it pulls me back in my seat. Just curious question
That's exactly what I do in my 12 ram. PC sport+ +4 w/tow haul on. Tuned

Agreed, but they were the fastest production truck out ever, I think Ford just took that from them though, ford just put one out that has a supercharged option in a single cab 2wd. I might try to find one to play with.

So wait you have just a hemi with nos? Nothing else? Or do you have a tune ect?
There are other videos on the channel where I mention what all is done, I plan to make an update video, but yes it's tune with minor bolt-ons and nitrous.

I had the similar 4th Gen u have in white but wanted a full crew cab so got the 5th Gen. My 14 had 5spd and I notice a big difference with the 8spd

Cool vid, but it's a little funny how the trx has to race with limitations so you can claim victory. Should have raced again with trx being allowed to use its full potential and you not making excuses that you missed a shift. Cheers

What are the mods on your ram and what transmission does it have ?

It just minor bolt ons tune and nitrous, ported intake and custom exhaust.
Nonetheless clean truck she quick for what is has done

Any tips on launching im 2wd and can’t seem to better my 0-60 cai tune exhaust 87mmtb just put proxes st3 and still spin like crazy
@@betoevoxgsr Well there is a list of reasons I launch good, it's really a loaded technical question, Rode, weather, weight, horsepower, all makes a difference l, before you even think about suspension or tires, If you can inbox me on f.b. and I'll give you all I've done to help mine, it really is too much for here to explain it it txt.
Just a tire change and the trx would Gap. 35s are heavy as hell. and a trx only runs 12 so its not that fast really. I have one for my work truck. But I'm actually surprised you truck got down into the 12s with just a wet kit thats not bad at all.
I can't hate on the tax one bit, its pricy a.f. but it did all that with a factory warranty. Me on the other hand, I was sweating bullets the whole day hahaha!!
@@Rep361Texas 😂 I respect that lol. I have a trx and a 10.3@132 Trackhawk. You can see my pass on the all season tires on my channel. The fact a TRX runs low 12s on 35s is impressive. But I have to admit you getting yours to run that with just spray reliable is impressive. Keep it up 👍

@@Rep361Texas mine ran 12.4@108 at 5300ft altitude. I live in the mountains. So yours should be mid 12s easy at 113 judging by the video. Your only problem will be hooking. The track without sticky tires is like trying to launch in the rain. I bet your trap speed is 110 plus regardless. Been doing this along time and if you were to dead hook I bet you would

@@hellhawk4680 That's why I like Houston, I did a no burn out, full weight, on 20' with the nitrous 420's and ran a 13.2, this time I'll be on 17's and Hoosiers, but I want to run it one time at full weight first to see if I'm in the 12's in (Daily mode) if I get a 12.2 or less ill fucking scram like a school girl!!

Haha! Thanks, shit it took a lil effort for me to get ready for that run, he literally came straight out of work and ran, Them TRX don't play! I would love to produce splitters but hard fact is they're going to run between $700&$800 USD. Glad you like the content and the Ram!!! Thanks for tha luv!!!
