- Trying not to implode while blindly riding Black/Double Black trials on the North Shore.
The process of moving here was long and tedious but we're finally on location!
Wanted to include not only riding in this one but also some bts.
Been riding and exploring a lot of the North Shore during the past month and will do other, a bit shorter videos coming up. Been picking up the speed at which I can hit the trails too, which get's slightly easier when it's not blind lol.
This was filmed on MT Fromme and the trails: Lower Oilcan, Ladies Only. - บันเทิง
this might be the start of a really cool adventure in Canada! can't wait for more content soon, so keep it up mate!
More to come! Thanks mate
I totally agree. You're in a great position to provide interesting content and grow your channel.
so sweet! great video and riding those trails that well blind is very impressive! loved the commentary too
For real I was holding my breath a LOT, freaked my out haha, blind riding is so much fun though.
Have some more of that coming up, did some double blacks in Whistler today all blind it was a riot lol,
Thanks for the comment for and watching, means a lot my man.
Hej dude, as a fellow swede living on this side of the pond we should most definetly go shred some trails! These days I live in Squamish, if you haven't heard about it yet you'll definetly hear about it very soon, and I'd be happy to show you some of the local trails here. I also know my way around Fromme and Seymour. Hope you're aclimatizing swiftly to the new time zone and canadian culture. We have been here now for four years, time freakin flies. :o Anyway, hope we get to shred some! :)
Hej!
Of course my dude I'd be down for that! 💯
Ohh squamish yeah I've heard about it and seen some videos but haven't been yet, definitely looks like a dreamy place to live though both setting, nature and the trails.
I've got a link to my Instagram on my page banner, give me a DM bud 😉🤘
Yeah dude, you're living the dream!!! Learn those trails well so you can show me around when I visit lol
Haha working on it!
Welcome to Vancouver, and welcome to the Shore! There are so many rad trail networks around to explore 🤙🏻
Glad to see you’re enjoying what BC has to offer
Cheers :)
Feels like it's going to take a looong time to explore all this stuff
@@Frorideism yeah between all the north shore mountains, sea to sky corridor, and tri-cities and the Fraser valley, I doubt you’ll ever be bored on your bike!
Looking forward to watching your videos 🤙🏻
Bro its so cool to see a fellow european graduating to the big BC mountains. Excited to hear more about your life in Canada you already know✌
Thanks my man! Yeah had the footage laying around wasn't sure if I was going to use it, but was quite fun to do this type of video.
Maybe a bit on the long side however haha,
I'm thinking i may do some downtown Vancouver urban freeride'ish video in the future, mixing in some more storytelling, could be fun.
Thanks for watching bud
@@Frorideism Hell yeah urban freeride would be epic! I had the chance to study in Vancouver some time ago but then covid happened, so would be kinda cool to see what I missed out on haha. Tbh the mix of storytelling and riding is really fun to watch
@@TenaTenci ohh that's shitty timing, did they kick you out when covid hit? Canada was bananas 🤨
Glad to hear you like the mix, to be honest haha I just want to do shit that I'd like to watch myself, and I think the racing videos got super boring lol. Much rather do this, even if it needs fine tuning 😁🙏
@@Frorideism All classes were gonna be online when covid hit and it felt stupid to study overseas at that point. Too much money and everything to just sit in an apartment 😅Spent 6 months in Montreal prior to that tho and loved it, really miss Canada tbh.
And I hard agree I think racing vids and the usual trail pov stuff gets pretty boring after some time. At the end of the day you should just do what's most fun to film for you 👊
Ohh yeah and rent and living costs are insane here too, can feel didn't make sense to stay to be locked up in an apartment lol..
Haven't been away east yet, seems nice though, and yeah man, this place has been so good this far.
I have a video concept I want to try, will see if I get it to work or not 😎😉
Such a fun video! Definitely subscribing for more!
'Sup Spencer!
Thanks for that my man, glad you enjoyed it and welcome ✌️
Great vid didnt realize how close the city is to the bush seams crazy i,m an aussie and to me dropping out of those trails into a city just seams fkn nutts .
Honestly havn't thought much about that, but you're right, you can pretty much ride all the way into a suburban neighbourhood haha
With those steeps, time to get the Tech 4 levers at least, possibly also the V4 caliper!
Yeah my man.... You're probably right, there's always something more you need!
They do look so nice though.. hmmmm
Welcome to Van City!
Thanks bud! Actually have moved to North Van since this video was recorded, still work downtown tho!
🎉
🚲
You tell your colleagues that you are moving to BC and the say "vad fan". You tell your bikey friends and they say "vad kul".
Hahs true,
yeah been some mixed reactions 😅
🤔
How are BC trails compared to something like Åre?
Depends on where in BC, at Fromme and Seymore it's quite special, the trails are built into the dirt extremely solidly, reinforced with stones, mixed with loam, loose rocks, big roots and steep rollers.
It's all veeeery packed(!) with features I think that's the biggest difference, where as åre for example is more extended if that makes sense.
Finding flow requires learning the features and side hits,
Oh it's hard to compare without writing an essay lol
@@Frorideism appreciate the answer. I have always wondered this cause videos never do trails justice. Maybe it’s a future video!
It's so hard to make it show in video, all though seems people don't even try so you're right it's a good video idea haha,
It's also the environment around, feels like riding in Jurrasic Park
Ville se mer av denna svensk, o nu får man det. Its just the beginning on this trails,
nu lever du drömmen många i sverige har
Det tog ett tag att få ihop men ni är vi igång 🙏
