Our generation is overworked and underpaid with no mental/emotional/physical energy left to build and maintain friendships.

We know we are sticking to the screen for long time. But life is demanding more and to reach the same demand things are all done on screen.
Knowingly we made up our lifestyle for this. Now there is no choice for us.
Who doesn't want to go out and see sunshine and breath without worrying about deadlines.
Life is getting better and there is really easy of living compared to 18th or 19th century days.
We get many facilities with ease relatively. What we missed out with time is spending time with people rather than for people as nowadays we do.
By developing an efficient tool, we started working more not enjoying more in life.
    Somewhere I feel like,
If someone inefficient or biased person is appointed, purpose and process losses it's soul.
This wastes money, time and talent doing the same thing which could have been done faster, easier and with fun and could have given more time to dwell deeper in it and enjoy your work and weekend.

And it's sad because it is a worldwise tendency/reality and not located at some places or countries 😢.

    I'm 40 . . . Growing up, it was video games.
    Now it's screens in general.
I don't argue about a lack of face to face. But, I know for me I get together with my friends, who all have jobs and other responsibilities, two or three times a month.
And a majority of the time is screen free. We are, for the most part, present and engaged.
So, while I don't argue the struggle. I question the severity as we aren't a part of that generation. I'm not saying there aren't concerns, but I would prefer an unbiased approach compared to a genrilized opinion (not referring specifically to this interview. But, in the context of general media).

Mobile phoñes & laptops can connect you to strangers all over the world, that you would never meet without social media. But screentime can be addictive!

The children that come from this generation will be different, exactly how I’m not sure, but something has definitely changed in the fabric of our society

It's a difficult balancing act because you really can't opt out of technology. That's something my older friends near retirement don't understand. Most of us don't have the luxury of opting out. I'm 60 and I certainly can't. We can try and limit ourselves but that's easier said than done.

What kind of sound does the anchor make? doesn't sound original but nasal.
