Hi Patrick. I've use a mixture of laptop , electric bike , power tool and electric garden tool batteries. I found that the Samsung batteries are by far the best.
Most of the power tool batteries I have come accross have Samsung batteries. I've been told that the the BMS in power tool packs are programmed to only charge the pack for a limited number of cycles then show an error, So the batteries at not always dead
Love the videos mate! No fluff, no fuss just straight to the point. I subscribed and i'm looking forward to your next one!
I'm saying it again very useful videos on practical aspects of battery recovery. Ta
I noticed you have several different colours of heat shrink tubing for the batteries. Do you colour code the batteries based on their mAh capacity?
Hey are you able to share a link as to where you located the heatshrink sleeves for the 18650's?
Great videos!
Did the insulator rings come with the heat shrink tubing kit?
No, I took the insulator rings of old dead batteries
I subbed! Great videos! I like your style. Cheers
You're amazing we need new videos
When is video 6 coming?
I know they are all harvested from laptop packs, but have you at all documented what type (brand/model) of cells you have?

Interesting. What kind of batteries did you find in those tool packs? I would expect high current draw but lower capacity 18650s.

Go to inplix page if you'd like to know how to build it. Great solutions for everyone I think.
