mental health is such a weird thing. i'd look at you, in peru, young, handsome dude and i would never think you would struggle with depression. just goes to show, you can never just a book by its cover. thanks for sharing man, all the love
It really is, I thank you for you compliments, most people wouldn't guess this about me, but I had a more rough than the average child hood. I only know this by speaking with others and them telling me I had it rather rough. But the not judging a book by its cover is extremely important. It's something I remind myself often. No matter what someone does each day, we don't know what their home life is and was like, and what they are mentally predisposed to as well. Genetics... fu*k genetics lol
im 19 moving back across the country to live with my parents. i struggle everyday and sometimes im surprised ive forced myself to live this long. but i look at that time ive been able to have since, and even though most of it is shitty, my eyes have been more open to the little things. right now im not doing okay, but i think the hope that one day things will be better really helps. i know that depression mindset is the hardest thing to change, but never give up. hope that tomorrow CAN be better than today. that small ray of hope, and forcing yourself to enjoy the little things, might not be enough to get me out of bed some days but its a hell of enough reason to keep trying
Thank you so much, this is really great advice. I am so sorry that you are struggling too, you can and deserve to be happy. That statement holds true for the both of us. Let's hang in there and get through this together. "There will always be better days"
Hey man. Whatever you do, keep talking. That is all that saved my life on the 4th. We are interested in what you're up to. Keep the head up, keep kicking ass, and keep talking. Love ya.
Hey Thank you so much, The keeping talking part is honesty the hardest part. I definitely like to internalize a lot of things, but I am making a real effort to keep talking, I hope my problems help others at least a little bit 🙏🏼
taking my dog for walks is the only thing that gets me out of the house and seeing nature so thats what helps me the most, whenever im in a forest or by the mountains all the things that make me sad dont seem important. thanks for reminding me to celebrate the small things ♡, its definitely hard to give yourself credit
I love taking my dog to a nearby river, definitely celebrate the small things, we don't do it enough at all. It's such a beautiful way to help ourselves. We deserve the praise and we are the only one that's going to do it ♥️
I appreciate you, and I will do my best to continue to put out the "good vibes". Thank you so much for taking the time to comment this, you seem like a pretty cool person too 🙏🏼
Hey Mambo, it's been a moment. I just got back home from Peru. Yes, being able to travel and go to places like Peru and getting out depressing surrounding is what help me sometimes. That's exactly why I went to Peru 🤣. I had to come back home, because I'm a school bus driver AND teacher and school will be starting back soon. Otherwise, I'd still be there!!! So, I work and then try to go on trips (like to place like Peru) so that I won't be depressed. The other thing that helps me is video games (I'm avid gamer and I like to MAKE games too). Games helps my mind mellow out, stay in a state of flow and helps me forget the negative for a while. I also sometimes go out to parks, bring my keyboard with me out to nature and just practice music. In fact, I did that a moment ago. These are ways I deal with depression. Hey anyway, Peru was awesome and I'm working on my story about Peru. Just thought I'd drop in and give an update on how things were!! I went and saw A LOT of stuff including a big boat trip, the sand dunes, nasca lines. It was INTERESTING!! I also tried the Ceviche. It was GOOOD and I tried to learn how to make it!! Again, thanks for inspiring me to go on that trip. I'll continue to drop in. In Peru, they were telling me I should try Cuosco. So, the next time I go, that might be one of my destinations and I think that the best time to go might be when it's winter here lol 🤣. I didn't realize that in June, July, and August it was winter where most people were wearing coats and staying in the house. But, that ok. It was still great and I had an awesome time!! It kind of felt like the 80s in the United States; back when things were more normal and things made more sense in the United States.
I completely understand how you feel about that. Traveling makes me feel lighter too, and Ive actually made a few games as well, that's so funny I am so glad you enjoyed peru and I am really excited to see that video. I live outside of Cusco so let me know if you plan to come out this way, I have plenty of suggestions and we could potentially meet up too somewhere 🙏🏼
@@mambokambo Hey Mambo, that's sounds great!! I'll keep you posted will let you know the next time I go to Peru. I'll be around. By the way, this is HE360 the op. I'm just answering with my other channel!
Haha thank you so much, congrats on almost reaching 1k, I am excited to see your progress I'll try to keep up with your vids, love to see another creator doing the same thing as me! 🔥
Amazing video, really resonated with me, and my struggle with depression, also I recently started taking an ashwagandha supplement as well, did it help you at all? Thank you for sharing, you deserve a lot more views! Wishing the best for you :)
I really appreciate you @sweetcatto , I am glad the things I am going through have resonated with you in some way, It makes me happy to have connected with someone that way while also making me feel a lot less alone. I know a lot of people struggle with the things I do but the feeling alone bit can really get to me, even though rationally I know I am not. The Ashwaganda helped a ton actually. The difficulty with it is how unavailable it is here in peru and how much hit costs if I do find it. It's like 100 USD for 50 capsules here. Not terrible but still expensive.
I appreciate you Tyler. Ive been meaning to make a "my life story video" but I can't right now, but I will soon. It's something outside of my control that's making it to where I can't. Sorry to be so vague I kinda have to be
Heck yeah, I am so glad that that sentiment resonated with you. You can do this, I got out of bed and brushed my teeth, and meditated (kinda) for 5 minutes before l even looked at my computer... That my win today, I won the day and it only took my maybe 8 minutes. You got this 🙏🏼
