    listen if someone starts with ghosts spirits and demons and fairies and sorcerers he is not a shaman he is just an obsessed spiritualist who talks to stones and smokes weed. I tell you that he is not a Shaman, and he must have called or it is a family tradition and only a few tribes practice real shamanism, we westerners are just weird and think we are the same. but it's not like that, for example I don't practice spiritual stuff or stones, I have lucid dreams intuition etc I hear voices while I sleep..... weird stuff but that doesn't mean I have to tell people what I am and I don't dress in rainbows and claiming to be spiritual and connecting with the higher self. you exist because the flesh comes to life after enchantment and since god breathed over the mud body a through life .... there are real spells and sects or real tribes . but they are hidden by strangers who are looking for ghosts and demons..... if you see a demon you will no longer be a spiritualist, I tell you how many days you will live, I tell you from experience, if you see a spirit I tell you that you will no longer sleep at night rand ... it's not fun and it's not a trend, it's some ancient practices and only a few people can have access, they're not good at it, they don't become along the way.

    I've always taken the marathon approach, just power through 16-ish total travel time over 3 flights. Usually 1 or 2 hours layover at each connection, just enough to absorb minor delays and let me stop at La Lucha for my first bites of Peruvian food after I get to Lima. I'll leave home at whatever time makes this happen, red eye or whatever. I don't enjoy the whole airport experience, so I try to minimize it. Maybe the approach of hanging out in Lima for a day or two and planning for a local flight at a more leisurely time would peel back some of the stress. Airports really aren't as bad there anyway. I mean, well, in their own way, but they don't have that same prison feel US airports have.

    • @mambokambo
      @mambokambo 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      LOL La Lucha, it's a good one, I normally spring for Tanta though. As far as the airports experience, I get that, I actually really like airports. Although I don't want to spend a ton of time in them, I enjoy being in them. Yeah I completely get what you mean by the prison feel, I think it really depends on the Airport though for sure. I find Newark to be really nice, JFK... awful lol

    I feel kind of odd in Arequipa (and Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico) because I walk so much and most people don't. Because of the poverty they certainly walk more than in rural/suburban USA. But if you think of the 10,000 steps per day guideliness to living more healthy (7000 is you're more relaxed about it), 10,000 steps is 5 miles. So I say, walking is good. Altitude just takes time to get used to depending on your current cardio condition. But I've lived in high altitude cities (Quito, Bogota, Medellín and now Arequipa). The altitude (even when I climbed a 15,000 ft mountain) does not bother me at all. You will be fine. Walk more and you will stay healthy and active WAY more years.

    • @mambokambo
      @mambokambo 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You're right, I think most people should aim for 10k steps a day average, but some people aren't quite in that condition yet. I think for someone traveling here for a week combined with the potential adjustment to the altitude it could have some impact and make the trip less enjoyable. However, I do agree with everything you are saying

  • @JWinch

    It is highly unlikely you did anything wrong other than base a business on an uncaring money obsessed entity (Google). It used to be an internal motto at Google (Do no evil). This was when Google was small relative to the industry giant Microsoft. Now they do lots of evil (oddly now it is Microsoft that has the good reputation). So, what almost surely happened (based on my decade of experience in machine learning, and in more recent years in using that against unstructured text data) is that the machine learning algorithms have a probability of error. In unsupervised machine learning (which is used far more often with text and video data) the chances of error are far greater. And your channel's content fell victim to that error window. BTW, the errors in AI is why AI will never take over the world. It is too expensive to teach AI to have very low error rates. But they can surely screw over a significant part of the world. The code used to make this determination about your content has millions, possibly even billions of variables that NO HUMAN can or will ever understand. So it is completely pointless trying to understand what happened or how to prevent it from happening again. That last sentence is why I said your mistake was basing your business on something with a high enough error rate that is UNPREVENTABLE. Why does Google do this? Because there are 4 billion videos and over 60 million content creators. Google cannot make money by trying to create fixed simple rules to follow or by hiring people to watch and evaluate 4 billion videos. And frankly they don't care how many hundreds or thousands of hours you lost or even millions of content creators lost because of the probability of errors in their algorithm. If you were famous/rich you would have a very specific contract to protect your business from loss due to errors of other people. But at least 59 million TH-cam content creators are not rich or famous and cannot afford to sue TH-cam or setup additional contracts to keep Google from destroying their business. My recommendation for TH-cam content channels is to diversify. Put the same content on multiple platforms and/or encourage your audience to look at other problems... ideally you use TH-cam as the start of the sales funnel to stear them to a reliable platform where AI is NOT used to determine if you are in business or not. Then you don't care that much about the likelihood of AI mistakes by those platforms that first find your audience and stear them to a reliable place under your control. I see you do have different channels but I am not sure how well integrated/designed they are to deal with this specific risk. And yeah, find a way to get a cheap/compressed representation of your content (even if that means it takes a long time to restore them). Perhaps try putting them on some place (vimeo?) and make them all private as your safety net against the error prone AI. I like your videos and wish them success.

      Thank you so much for your thoughts on this. I have always known funneling my content on to one platform is dangerous, although I didn't have the knowledge or the words to put it as eloquently as you didi. To be honest, I started this out as a passion project and wasn't really looking at the future so much with it. Of course I considered that my channel will grow and I wanted more with it, but a lot of my systems and approaches were created from the mind of someone with a hobby not someone running a business. These are definitely some things I have to consider moving forward, I want to protect the longevity of this community, and I am looking for ways to do that, I just may take up many of your suggestions and I really appreciate you and your support of my channel. Thank you so much for all of your valuable comments, help, and thoughts. Can't wait to talk more soon 🙏🏼

    I don't notice a crime problem in Arequipa. Of course, like almost anywhere in the world, if you go into a poor area, poor people are much more likely to commit crimes. As for people leaving due to crime, the vast majority of people anywahere in the world are not analytical and diligent enough to find out and then assess their trus risk of being a victim of a crime. They just react irrationally based on whatever fears/and stories and anecdotal data. So what one person does is highly unlikely to be a good source of data about such a low probability event and one that is not even matched well to your own likely circumstances. Case in point, I once did an analysis of the likelihood of dying due to murder in the various departments of Colombia and found the one with the highest rate (near the border of Venezuela) had half the likelihood of that form of death vs an average American has of dying due to being overweight. Not something you would suspect which just goes to show you how irrational and underinformed people are when it comes to risk.

    A key to that income requirement of the visa you first mentioned ($1000 per month) is that the income stream must be guaranteed for life. And when you get this visa, it is already permanent and in 2 years after that you can apply for citizenship.

    I spent less than 100$ and 2 weeks to get a permanent resident visa for life with the ability to get citizenship in 2 years. You can too if you planned ahead financialy to have a guaranteed for life income stream of at least 1000$. It does not have to be a government pension like social security, it could be another financial instrument you invested in that provides a guaranteed for life monthly minimum income stream and there is no age requirement. That price I paid included a redundant unnecessary criminal background check because the bureaucrat I got insisted on it even though this is not legally required. It did not include the cost to get the original criminal background check and apostile. Official translation of that cost me about 40$. Which brings up an important point. You are dealing with bureaucrats. Doesn't matter which country they are in, they all make up rules and/or ignore rules. So any advice from me, the channel owner or any other source of info is not 100% guarantee it will apply to you when you try. Just be prepared to be flexible and adapt, overprepare for contingencies to the extent that is possible and include the possibility of you trying with a different bureaucrat or trying your powers of persuasion (intimidation is unlikely to work) to get the result that works for your situation.

    Can you reccomend the monthly accountant? As well as the accredited translator? This is so helpful thank you. Also you said in 3 years you'll have the residency..but I thought the point of having a company with a worker visa was to have residency through the company? Do you mean in 3 years we can apply for citizenship once we've had a company and visas there for 3 years and boots on the ground 183 days a year?

    • @mambokambo
      @mambokambo 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Accountant you probably want one here, my current Accountant has his hands full right now, unfortunately I don't know any others, personally. As far as translators, your lawyer will most likely give you a list, if you don't know anyone on the list pick the cheapest. My translator friends aren't cheap they just helped me out because I do the same for them in areas that I have expertise. Yes, I don't have residence here right now, I have a visa. The difference is, i have to continue to apply here to stay, once a year, with residence you don't need to reapply anymore. Citizenship is a whole different animal that allows you to buy property in certain areas and things like that, not really necessary but still a good step if you plan to live here forever. I think citizenship takes 3 or 4 more years after getting residence here. Ill make a video explaining them in depth soon <3

      My translator lives in La Libertad which probably had something to do with what I paid for her services. In general, I see translators charging WILDLY disparate rates (including 10 times what Liz charged me for one translator living in the 1st world). People need to pay their bills, so where they live effects their bills and therefore what they charge you.
