I just had a really eerie thought whilst looking at some of the people in the very early B&W photos - I've probably walked past many of their graves in Burnley cemetery on Rossendale Road.
Jimmy's long gone now. Now it's just a waste ground, The Co-op is on fletcher st Nelson, I knew the Upholsterer there, very well. 65% I recognise, the rest i ain't to sure
Thank you. So many memories
Thank you so much - lots of memories!
Much appreciated thank you.
I expect my great aunt would have known some of those locations. She was Matron of a maternity hospital and had a street named after her in Colne.
Thank you, but do you have the original stills? The shop at 6:50 was my Dad's Bakery.
Great, but would have been good to give us the actual locations of each photo.
