My Cousin, Geoff Pickup, is pictured collecting a swimming award. He was a great all-rounder. Was on The Clarets books as a youth player until a serious knee injusry ended his fooball caeer. Also, my next door neighbour, Harry Haworth and a junior school mate Brian Hanns, both great table tennis players. Both very talented at sports. Thanks for compiling these photos. Terrific.

Wonder how many old school mates are still around from the old Grammar school and Girls GS near St Peters Church, Burnley.
Any old school reunions still maybe with details if any ?
    I’m old pupil from 1952-55

At 3.03, front row far right, young man in Scout uniform is my friend Nigel Dart from Nelson, Lancashire. We lived close to each other and attended Primet Infants and Secondary schools in Colne, Lancashire. I still have an old class photo of us standing side by side. I'm aged 70 now, memories.

Hopefully, yes, Denis. The problem is that the skip was not very kind to most of the images, lots were stained or damaged and the repair work is taking second place to two other projects. But we will do our best. Tony.
