But why would lego include a minifig gwp when they can just forcibly raise the price on new star wars sets by like 10% by including a completely unrelated minifig, whom you may or may not have ever heard of?...
2:30 I have no idea what my peers think. I still haven’t seen a picture of the droid pilots from any of my friends. No one is organically posting pictures of their builds… I think everyone is keeping theirs sealed 😞
I dont get it. Why should a gwp be some thing valuable that you can sell later for money, rather than having a small and cute trinket. This investor mind set really fried the brains of the community.
Whats up Brickfleet, we didnt chat on discord for quite a while! I see and i pressume u got the full collection of power miners, got 2 questions about it if u dont mind How long did it take u to collect all the sets? How much money did u spend to complete power miners?
This should never have been a GWP. Frankly no brick built set should be imo. I think GWPs should either be sets already on shelves, sets that WILL go on shelves, or minifig polybags.
Yes, if the value of a GWP is that it's a 'free gift', then it needs to also be available for a normal price. As it is, most of it's value comes from it's exclusivity and resell value as an investment product, meaning the people that gain the most from it are the people that care more about money than the actual lego. Lego fully knows this, and it's sad how much they cater towards this group over normal lego fans.
@@jimwar211 The GWPs are carrots to sell more sets. They're not catering to flippers; they don't care what happens to the sets after they leave the store. Lego's aim is to move units, full stop.
LEGO needs to just stuck with making LEGO!
I really wished that the droid set would be a cheap $30 playset, like how many other people wished, too, instead of a GWP.
You can also just part out the set for 20$

That is exactly what’s happening
4 of em!? That promo is good for Separatist army building!! I hope we see more sets like this, but sold as sets with a few Jedi or Clone characters!!
We definitely need an MTT soon!
“There ya go, that’s your review” 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
I hate 8 min long videos dawg 😭

For the record I denounced this mindset. (1:34 - 1:41)
@@BrickFleet Oh sorry, my comment wasn't about you, but rather at other parts of the community, who do have those opinions.
It’s still a great investment

So nothing exclusive? Or minifigs?
Agreed, it should be more widely available. This shouldn’t have been a gift…
