I’ve resin printed toys before and I must say those don’t even look 3d printed! I mostly have gotten to the point where brick built monsters and animals have gotten better than the official Lego versions but these are fantastic!

Adults acting like CMFs are made for them. TLG sells out almost every line they put out, they aren't changing crap. I worked at a toy store for 12 years, 90% of our CMFs were bought by or for kids. Also, they don't care about theft or damage at stores. Once a store accepts delivery of their product, its the store's responsibility to protect it. That goes for small stores AND big box stores. The only CMF lines that didn't sell out almost immediately in our store were the first Disney one and the first Marvel one, but that's because TLG forced us to buy double what we normally ordered for CMFs. They are kinda buttheads that way.

I really do appreciate how you fully understand on why these custom pieces tend to be pricey, due to how many hours of prototyping + manual labor, and the cost of material is put into making them!!! I’ve always felt like most folks in the Lego community tend to trash on custom figures/parts, as people would always say asinine stuff like ‘It’s so expensive for something so menial’ or ‘Why are they charging so much for something that costed them like two pennies’ 🤦‍♀️ When will those kinds of people will learn that the costs of metal molds/resin material is legitimately sooo pricey 😭 Personally I’m not that into the Star Wars theme, but WOW both of these custom creatures look absolutely stunning, and I definitely agree that the Bantha is the highlight out of the two! 🤎

There has been like, two CMF series where i liked all, or even most of the figs. Usually i just want one or two, usually in multiple numbers. And let's be honest, Lego knows that some figures will sell in bulk, while others will sell poorer. No one needs three dog maintenance ladies, but a lot of people want multiple falconers or Basils.
