A valuable life lesson from Jay, don't care what other people think. Even with all that money and success people still will criticize David Lee so why care what they think. Show up in whatever car brand you want to.

IIRC, when Doug Damuro reviewed Jay's F1, he was unable to drive it because its only insured for Jay. Considering its worth over 20 Million, its unsurprising the insurance company doesn't want it driven by anyone else.

I am a Porsche fan boy all day because it’s what I can afford right now but I would take an F50 over a Carrera GT hands down. But the F1 is the holy grail, Jay needs to let you drive it! I bet you would start looking for one immediately 😂 Keep up the excellent content David!
Sadly, Jay's insurance on that car only allows him to drive it. It does allow him to have 2 passengers though
I like Jay's wise words. You drive what you want to drive. I totally agree. I also believe in that you drive in what ever you want to. I will never make a Scene for instance if Elon Musk shows up with Dodge Viper at a event etc. We know he is the Tesla guy just like you're the Ferrari guy.
David, you enjoy collecting fast cars. I collect TIME: 10,000,000,002,022 and I have met life in time you don't measure to be there. Real life beyond all other life is exciting, too. I can't say it's more exciting than your collection of cars, because I don't have your collection of cars, just like you haven't met life I have met. We each are though, equally excited about what we collect.

I’ve met so many supercar drivers (not even collectors) that are so cocky, arrogant, and condescending, I simply can not understand how or why they were blessed with such good fortune. David Lee on the other hand, is so friendly, cheerful, humble, genuine, and deserves everything he has. He’s the perfect example of what a visible minority who immigrates to America with nothing, could achieve with hard work and perseverance; he’s the kind of people we need more of.
Easy answer money creates the sense of false importance. Power bring importance. More people have money that people with power
A majority of those drivers are on drug and cocain to keep them goiung and make them feel good about themself confidence and tough . They never show you the truth, alway look happy, laughing ,rich, successetc. You and others been fool by them.
David is a nice guy, cares a lot about what others think of him to the point he deprives himself of driving what he loves, he's a people pleaser, look at him with the same denim shirt as Jay.

In April 1974, I bid the highest silent bid on the prototype Honda Gold Wing shown on back cover of CYCLE MAGAZINE December 1973, and I had that machine in summer of 1974 to 188 MPH before the handlebars shook so much I had to chicken out from reaching 200MPH.

One of my life goals is to see in person a McLaren F1. There are probably less than 10 in the US so I don’t know how that would happen.
The camera operator, a gimbal would help a lot with the stability of the shots, also to slow down the video edit would overcome the jumping. Lighting also could be improved
I saw a Carrera GT sell at Barrett-Jackson for two million this year. Nice ROI if you bought one for 300k.

And ya the McLaren Sabre has that centre seat like the F1. But from what I have seen people don't like the digital mirrors on the sides, and the center position scares people when switching lanes. And the odd thing about that the Sabre is that it doesn't have Launch control, and it's not about performance despite having performance on paper. And I have seen people who have it in their collection not drive it alot.

I had an emblem made and put it on my '71 Cuda. I did it just the way I like it. The emblem is "DGAF"...😁
If you sell the car twice it's not the car for you. Like to say more but keeping it short. Good advice to keep always never sell. Keeping the Ferrari collection is the way to go.👍🏻

488 is a terrible Ferrari. They will end up depreciating and have zero value with enthusiasts. It's a turbo junk engine. Ferrari has said they will ditch the turbo on their replacement
