How to Change an Alternator on a Ford Mustang 4.0L Engine

About to do this to my 2006 v6 mustang today,, its been whining a bit and this morning the headlights were pretty dim and would brighten up a little with throttle. I have a question--- ive heard to get a motorcraft alternator because the eftermarkets quite often act weird with the regulator/voltage,,,, any advice ? Thanks for the really clear gow to video man. Dumb question here.. but does a 2010 ford mustang 4.0 v6 automatic trans have just the coil pack or does it also have single ignition coils

My 07 4.0 auto has a single coil pack

There is never a Dumb question when you are looking for an answer specially when it comes to automotive, and on the 2010 Ford Mustang 4.0L it appears that they come with coil pack if anyone reports a mustang of that year with single coils we will comment on it

Are you asking if you can over tighten the belt, or if it can get over tightened on it's own
