    In 2010 I busted my spine.
    Today I live free of back pain, and teach others how to do it too.
    But it's not by luck, that this happens.
    It's by practice.
    Spinal waves are part of that practice.
    In this video you'll learn a process to develop spinal waves from the ground up.
    Find where is right for your body to explore.
    The key is to listen to your breath and aim to feel as much of your spine as your moving it ... Instead of just trying to do a wave for the sake of it.
    Here's a principle that guides my practice: If you can't feel it on the inside. You're rushing it.
    Spinal waves have immeasurable benefits and applications.
    They are an important piece in the journey to connect your whole body to move as one and return to your natural form.
    For more insights on how to grow your physical freedom and expand your consciousness...

      Officer: I'm on my way!

    This is beautiful because sincere and nondogmatic. I dont like the ido portal soup other people blindly follow and they lie to themselves saying its amazing. You seem to genuinely try it out with an open heart and for good reason. Well done my brother, i have back pain and this has encouraged me to move and give it a go

      Hi @brothajack1993,

    I too had back pain and discovered that I had a disconnect between my awareness and the movements of my spine. I started to study the Feldenkrais Method and now I am pain free too. The things you wrote in this video use similar principles for reconnecting to ourselves. Thanks for posting this online.

    A good routine. Best done alone without distractions.
    As to the surgeon? Talk to older surgeons, talk to they who have had the surgeries. Only as a last desperate resort.
    An exercise routine take thousands of hours throughout a lifetime, yet the reward is a lifetime of activity and ease.

    I do the full asian squat, and hang from a chin-up bar (basically I just do pull-ups). If I'm sitting for more than half hour, I get up for a walk. I've never experienced back pain. I don't think spinal wave are necessary to alleviate back pain, but there is something to movement science.

    • @MovementMonk
      @MovementMonk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's great to hear about what method works for you and how you maintain a pain free back. There is no 'one-size fits all' approach to physical freedom, as every body is different. Spinal waves have been an important part of Benny's journey of recovering from spinal scoliosis and we have seen many students utilise this practice to help them.

    • @MovementMonk

      AlohaMovies
      I recommend you begin with some breathing exercises and move slowly during the spinal wave to support your body to rebalance.
      I would need to see you move to make more specific recommendations.
      If you’d like to discuss how to release your body further, email us at aloha@movementmonk.xyz 👊🏼🙏

    what does "busted your spine" mean? What was the injury, what was its cause?

    • @MovementMonk
      @MovementMonk  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kurt Krienke thanks for your question. My spinal injury started at an acute level after strength training and martial arts.
      It then developed into chronic scoliosis.
      After finding a way to heal it, I discovered the cause was a mixture of physical, emotional factors.
      Do you have some physical challenges happening at the moment?
