  • So whenever my Xbox Ones in sleep mode there's a really noticeable ticking noise coming from the power brick as if there's a loose fan.
    (Noise is faint on camera just turn the volume up and when I put the camera close to the power brick you'll hear the ticking noise)
    I called Xbox Support and there sending me a new Power Brick. I recommend you call if yours has this problem.

    I actually love the power brick did you know that it's actually a surge protector even on the 360 and Xbox one brick is a power surge protector I talked with microsoft they told me everyone should plug in their Xbox one directly into an outlet don't plug it into a surge protector or many things with power supply on connected to it it has to be separate because it uses a bunch of electricity to get the fastest things going on your xbox one plug it directly into an outlet because it's already has a surge protector the brick is a surge protector I just found that out 2 days ago it's pretty damn cool I think

    I check the forums and found a way to fix it ( well it work in my case ).
    the infromation about that the console’s fans will stays on while it is on in instant on mode. It is funny that I have to use Power save mode to turn off completely. From Home screen, go to Power settings > power save mode and disable the quick start mode. now everything is very quiet.

    If there's a slight humming that's normal I can here mine really loud now but that's after a year of it sitting on my floor in main living room. I need to open up the brick and blow all the dust and crap out

    its because its set on instant on mode witch means your xbox is looking for updates if you set your console to energy saveing mode that sound will stop don't worry its normal hope this helps support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/system/learn-about-power-modes

      You never actually turn it off, because the xbox one goes into standby and is ready to turn on right when you want it too.

    You'd think since the Xbone INCREASED in size from the 360 that the power brick would be inside the consule but nooooooo lol poor desgin choice ms

      ***** ps4 is smaller and faster. I have no idea what microshaft was thinking

    • @ronnieradon
      @ronnieradon 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The reason the Xbone is so big is so they can make room for all the ventilation components, because they wanted to make sure they didn't have another Red Ring of Death situation coming.

      udai bhat No, besides that everything is universal and you shouldn't have any problems.
      I don't know if Xbox Live is open in India, but the hardware is free to use anywhere. The games are also region free, so you can buy games from USA for cheap. I did the same and I live in Eastern Europe

    • @DarkLordknight71
      @DarkLordknight71 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ...so when the power supply fails, you have to buy a brand new console?

    • @Epickiller567
      @Epickiller567 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      the chances of the power supply failing has the same chance of the fan failing( very slim chance of happening ), which is even worse and that can also occur to the xbox one.

    • @Ample61
      @Ample61 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +logan but if it overheats what know

    • @ronnieradon
      @ronnieradon 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The fan has a much smaller chance of failing on the xbox one. The reason it's so big is to make space for the huge-ass fan and all the components because they wanted the console to last a damn long time.
