This is very nice work Tommy !
I will be trying the 2 piston Blazer brakes soon.
I believe this will be easy & more than sufficient for my truck.

Yes in my opinion the 01 and newer blazer is an easier alternative. While you're there grab the rear fist. Everyone wants Camaro for bragging rights. But for the rear S-10 Blazer is is also easier to incorporate parking brake without fabrication

Bad as I hate to say it. I'm not the smartest man in the world. But I couldn't figure out how they was cutting down these old rotors. Every channel that does this "kit" just says they was old rotors. THANK YOU FOR SHOWING ME WHAT I WANTED TO SEE IN BETTER DETAIL! YOU SIR HAVE GOT A NEW FOLLOWER AS OF JAN 2022!

Thanks for your detailed video. I just gathered up everything needed to do this on my 89 S10. Just have to find a local machine shop to make the brackets and make the hubs. Thanks for your video .it's going to be a big help to me

I'm making my own brackets, but I need to find a machine shop to turn down the rotors. Also for my '89 S-10. lol

@@jayinmi3706 I would to if I wasn't in the middle of a major remodel of my house and I'm also doing the same brake upgrade on my 91 formula firebird for me it's just as easy for the machine shop to make 6 brackets while they are cutting 4 hubs I'm thinking of doing the Camaro frt brakes on the rear of the S10 so I have to make a template for the rear brackets and the caliper brackets I'm using for the rear are from the frt of a Chevy envoy but uses the same caliper as the camaro and is 12inch rotor diameter the firebird already has rear disc brakes but are only single piston rear calipers and I just got new Riddler 606 18 inch wheels for the S10. And the c5 wheels I was using on the s10 will now go on the firebird just need to pick some sticky rubber for the 18 inch wheels. Good luck with your S10

@@scootersonlyrepair6773 that's way too much for rear disks. I'd prefer drums in the rear they last what seems forever and only need an adjustment once a year or so. Plus my s10 is all original zq8 suspension LS package V6 extended cab with zero rust and all vin matching body panels I wouldn't remove the original posi rear for a 4wd rear with no posi that doesn't fit correctly. The plan is repaint the original black and call it a day the interior is like new and it runs perfect great little truck as is.

It doesn't have to be milled down. I just did it to clean it up. Once the rotor is turned down on the lathe, that part is pretty thin. It would probably be just fine to take it down with a grinder if you don't have access to a mill.
