  • In this last part we will get into some of the nitty gritty details of Alma and Limhi’s people and the possible routes they took to get to the land of Zarahemla. How was it possible for the people of Limhi to get lost looking for the land of Zarahemla, but still be able to make it back home?
The Book of Mormon is full of chiasmus and they are amazing to take apart when learning the doctrine in the Book of Mormon, but have you looked at the historical chiasmus in there? How does it help with Book of Mormon geography?
Join us as we faithfully discuss all of these possibilities and the evidence behind it in episode 5 of this 5 part series.

Great videos and details of evidence. Would it be possible that you each spoke in turn rather than over each other? I’m sure that would make it much better.

Actually, Nauvoo is 574 feet above sea level (Land of Gideon). Montrose (land of Zarahemla on west bank of river Sidon) is 531 feet above sea level. Lookout Mountain is 2146 feet. The highest point in Tennessee is 6,643 feet. It's easy to see how you could go down to the Land of Zarahemla from the Land of Nephi and up to the Land of Nephi from the Land of Zarahemla.

I appreciate that you all have a tendency to cover these subjects in depth. Perhaps a compromise for the younger generations (those accustomed to reels and shorts), and a way to increase viewership, would be to at least add time stamps to these lengthy videos. I don't mind the length, but they would be more "shareable" if people could hover over the footage, and see a description of it's contents at various points throughout the video. Not to mention, it makes it easier to review to find specific points for your own convenience.

This is an interesting notion that Rod mentions in this video: the Heartland Model is a geographic chiasmic history of the BoM Nephites as compared to restoration church history with Joseph Smith. One moving northward to the East and the latter moving southward to the West over the same ground as stated by Joseph Smith himself on Zion's Camp march. Just a coincidence? Or is it a reflection of Hebrew structure and Jehovah’s type in His dealings with His children? I don't think it's mere coincidence. It starts just before 21 minutes into this video. ❤

Russell M Nelson could have the 3 Nephites provide their DNA so we know what to test for in the genome & have them open up the Nephite cave talked about in Journal of Discourses Vol19, page (36-39). Alma 11:(4-19) If these major Nephite cities with millions of people you should be finding giant cities in these locations with massive amounts of Gold & Silver coins with Hebrew on them!!! The Spruce Hill Earthworks site in Ohio has evidence of that in the right timeframe. There's a non-member named William D Conner who has also found and taken pictures of some ancient furnaces and molds in the right timeframe. He wrote a book called Iron Age America before Columbus. Also Caleb Atwater in the early 1800s before Joseph Smith described finding the remains of a decomposed iron sword in a Hopewell mound at Circleville Ohio.

"Discovering stuff" may be entertaining, but the BOM speaks clearly for those who read and study what it says about the geography of the BOM! May's "findings" are the results, in part, of those who "went northward" from Zarahemla, ending up in the "heartland"!!
