Another great video. The two of you have so much knowledge and I am blessed every time I listen. You give us all so many things to research and investigate and I am thankful for each of you.

I am an artist by hobby. More specifically, I am a sculptor. I have made hummingbirds so life like people think I cought them and they are alive when I open my hand to show one to them. It gives me great joy to create sculptures. From being a sculptor I have realized to some degree how much joy God gets from making biological sculptures. What would I make 8f I had the ability to make biological sculptures? Everything I could imagine. I think God is the same way. Would I make T Rex? No question. Absolutely I would!!!!!!!

Noah didn't build a sailing vessel. He had no place to go. The engineering and time of a sailing vessel requires VERY SIGNIFICANT time, materials etc. He likely built a much simpler House type of floating vessel. A house type of vessel couldn't be capsized by heavy winds etc.. Once the waters receded, they had a house. It would have taken years for the lands to dry, vegetation and trees to grow back. So, after the flood, if the arc was a house, they were all set. I also believe, however, no evidence, before the flood, there was only ONE continent. The Flood was a mechanism which also broke up the continent into what we have today.

In my opinion, the flood was much more sad than what these gentlemen try to explain. What happened is that the crust lost its integrity and became as dense as the marine mantle. The 🌎 lost its purpose due to the extreme brutality of the 1st millennium people, and returned to its chaotic state. Was the worst event that ever happened on this 🌎

Got to say this video is a step back from the normal great content on this channel. Hugh Ross sets the standard on a scientific explanation of the Noah story on complete harmony with the Bible.

    Flood of Noah Coincidence
The invasion of Israel by Palestinians on October 7th might be viewed through a prophetic lens, as some believe this event was foretold. The term "HAMAS," an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya, means "Violence" in Hebrew. This connects to Genesis 6, where the Lord speaks of the violence on earth before the flood.
In Matthew 24, Christ gives the Jews a sign for the last days:
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Genesis 6 verse 11,13 explains why God sent the flood:
The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
On October 7th, a news article titled "Al-Aqsa Flood" was published, and the connection to "HAMAS" as violence seems significant. The attack was reportedly motivated by the desire to address a "RED COW" that is believed to usher in the return of God to His temple, where He would accept sacrifices and redeem His people.
The purpose of the Second Coming is to address the violence and war on earth. The righteous saints who are alive will be lifted up and translated, while the dead saints will be resurrected in the clouds to meet Him. This is to avoid the wrath and desolation that will fall upon the wicked remaining on the earth. This concept is reflected in Doctrine and Covenants 88:95-97.
It is intriguing to note that the attack occurred on Simchat Torah, a Jewish holiday that concludes with prayers from Psalm 27. This Psalm is a plea for deliverance from enemies, specifically invoking God's protection in times of war:
"Psalm 27 expresses a deep yearning for divine intervention and safety, with its final verses seeking protection from adversaries."
The timing of the October 7th attack, coinciding with this significant day, might be seen as a poignant and symbolic event. This connection adds another layer of interpretation to the events unfolding and underscores the urgency and significance of the prayers offered during Simchat Torah.

To cover the earth - maybe the plate tectonic moment is what pushed the water away - we don’t need water to cover mt Everest - we need water to drain way as the continents move - which they have

Could the original Ark have been built in what is now Kentucky? It makes me wonder. Only the LDS would think so. Thank you evangelicals. Our partners in Christ that don't know it yet.

Anyone talking about the Garden of Eden being in the heartland of the US should qualify that statement with the whole earth was in one mass until the time of Paleg. In fact the name Paleg means devision

"The Garden of Eden was in America" and the Ark, too? You cannot get that from Genesis. BoM and the Bible are incompatible.

true, the cult of mormon is based on and grew out of a book published as a work of "Fictional Novel" written by a life long satan worshiper.

Although they discuss the Book of Mormon, the understanding of where the Garden of Eden was located didn't come form the Book of Mormon.
That said, having read both the entire Bible and Book of Mormon more times than I can honestly count, they are in fact compatible and compliment one another. If you read it, you would be saying the same thing. I invite you to do so in humility. If you believe in Christ, truly, you would understand that He can, and has, visited others throughout the history of this planet. "Scriptura Sola" was invented by Martin Luther, and he was wrong.
