Thawne only feels bitter hatred so he'd be even slower than Barry in season 1.Barry doesn't hate many people but he hates Thawne meaning it would be easy to wipe him.
Nah not exactly. You can get faster with the regular speed force so and there's ways of boosting it so his idea is actually pretty sound the writer's actually have solid idea here.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. We saw in the Elseworlds crossover that Barry has loads of repressed anger he can draw on. But Eobard doesn’t have many positive emotions. Then again, Barry at 5% and working with the Negative Speed Force was still faster than Eobard this whole episode.
I wish he would’ve said “It was me Barry... I started by doing a little housekeeping at star labs. And Then, I took care of the one father you had left” Also: 2:34 that line is so dark i love it. Imagine young Barry sleeping in his astronaut bed and his fucking fish tank water starts rising, then a man in a yellow suit slaughters him... omg
@MostaVerse Creating a new timeline with new events and things in the future. Since this timeline’s Flash created the still force, he was able to go back in time using the negative still force and make those major changes to the timeline to defeat The Flash without making the same mistake he did back in season one- getting stuck in the past.
Where the fuck even is Dion? Nora not being there kinda makes sense (Although the Speed Force is a multiversal god, she should still know the real timeline, but I suppose this alternate timeline could leave her confused), but Dion is a time god! He should be there to give Barry some backup
@@endamcnabola nope season 1 at the end he told Barry he so obsessed with the flash he wanted to be come him only to find out that he was destined to be coming it's greatest villain
Honestly nothing was this good or up to par since flash was infected by bloodwork. At least, as such it's not over yet and I hope there is a season 8 story that full circles to the future with Matt letsch reverse flash.
This sort of implies that no one loved Barry Allen and instead just loved The Flash. Also, if Barry was killed as a kid in this timeline, how did he become Reverse-Flash?
Tom Cavanaugh is an amazing actor he does an amazing job playing these other versions of Harrison Wells really well but his reverse flash Harrison Wells is just on a whole nother level
so, does this mean that in this timeline, thawne has the norm speed force while barry has the negative one? wouldn't that make him immune to timeline changes or smth?
Possibly but more than likely not like he implied it to Barry who at the time would’ve done anything to save Nora, and Thawne told him the negative speed force would save her possibly just as a paradox kinda like how he survived after Eddie shot himself as a remnant. But we see the effects in season 1 he gets stuck in the past after loosing the majority of his speed from killing Barry’s mom making him not become the flash until he created the flash earlier this time. Then Eddie died he got erased but a copy that went back and killed Barrys mother was left for the paradox not to occur chicken and egg. As technically he ran back got stuck and Eddie was still alive to be his ancestor up until he shot himself erasing Thawne. Season 3 him not using his speed was helping him not change with the timeline as fast from flashpoint. But this Barry was killed as a child before he had his speed meaning there’s nothing to protect him as you can’t give speed to a corpse. Creating a flashpoint which are major shifts in the timeline vs smaller inconsequential changes.
@@coals6262 how could he make him reverse flash if he killed him as a child? Shit just doesn't make sense and they clearly started at the end and worked their way back when it came to writing this.
@@bitchface235 probably did so right before killing him. He did the da stove first then probably took over Barry’s life and took the lightning in 2013 at some point he created reverse flash Barry then later on decided to risky to keep him around and went back and killed him as a child
Thawne legit just going and killing child Barry anyway after already messing with Barry's life and also taking over Barry's life is the pettiest thing ever and I love it.
Did someone notice that it was a subtle nod to what Thawne tried to do in the comics? He once tried to take Barry's place and being struck by the lightning that gave the Flash his powers. Problem? He started to be erased from existence because of his status being dependant upon Barry's, so he instead ran from his lab and failed. In short, Armageddon showed us what if Thawne succeded what he failed to do in the comics.
It just got to me, Iris is literally Barry's lightning rod, because just like lightning rod that gave Barry his powers, Iris restored his connection to the speedforce!
It’s very cool to see how Eobard learned from killing Barry’s mother causing him to get stuck in time so that when he changes the timeline he does it smarter so he can manipulate it like a chess board.
Season 8 actually looks promising might start watching it again. Shame we’ll never get to see Eobards real face again anytime soon until probably the final season and when they’re finally able to get Matt back.

They just don't want to pay for the actor. The actor has publicly stated that he wants to come back to reprise his role. However, he's too expensive for the show's budget so they just re-use Tom Cavanaugh because it's cheaper.
2:32 So I suppose, in this version of the convulsing in pain and screaming in agaony timeline, Thawne went back in time, just after the long gone future flash saved his child self to kill him right there and then guided his "stuck in the past" version to become Flash.... THat or Thawne went extra petty and killed both Barry and his mom while she was giving birth and everyone in the room because I can see Eobard Thawne doing that
You know what's funny when flash made Flashpoint everything went to hell but when Reverse-Flash made his version he was on cloud 9 wow gotta say Reverse Flash has outdone himself.
So, Thawne took Barry's place... Which has the Wells disguise making even less sense. This *definitely* should have had Thawne in his original form, i.e. Matt Letscher reprising the role.
Here’s what I don’t understand. Thawne mentioned that he travelled to 2013 and made sure that he was the one struck by lightning instead of Barry. Considering that he said 2013, I’m assuming that this is the same bolt from the particle accelerator that his younger self caused that year. So does this mean that there were two people with Well’s face during that time. Did Thawne fight himself?
Thawne really gone crazy when he become the flash and barry as the reverse flash and the way the Thawne behave crazy, rage and a psychopath in this season.
Now I can see how Childish Thawn actually is. In season 1 barry was like a baby chick in his hand and he could control everything. but now that barry is actually superior than Thawn, he just wants to win and fknd every way to win just to get the laugh on barry’s face.
They went from having to run around in circles to throw lightning but now they can throw lightning without having to run around in circles they're really getting more powerful
Wait so that means, when Barry “restored” the timeline, wouldn’t he have side effects from it, since it was changed from a reverse flashpoint? Just like he had side effects and losing memories when he created the first flashpoint in Season 3.
Plastic Time: History can be changed, but there can be consequences from doing so. For example, in Superman #146, Superman travels back in time and accidentally prevents the destruction of Krypton, creating a new timeline where he never becomes Superman 1.Parallel Universes: Time travel to your own actual past or future is impossible, and all time travel does is either shift you into a parallel universe, or into an alternate timeline. For example, in Action Comics #399, Superman travels to the future and finds himself on a parallel Earth where he is married to Lois Lane and has a son named Clark Jr1.

season 5 is slow on first half but once it is revealed thawne is involved with nora, it picks up a little
season 6's frist half is good, with its best episode being the last temptation of barry allen part 1, but second half is painful because, is like the show has no idea what to do now that "flash vanishes missing in crisis" plot point has been resolved
season 7 i haven't seen it, but from spoilers I saw, it really has no idea what it was trying to do and kinda was trying to throw anything to the wall to see what would stick with poorly received results

You can't help but be impressed how far Thawne is willing to go just to get what he wants. The 1st one was just to go home, The 2nd one was to escape iron heights, And now he went this far just become the Flash. I bet Barry wish he finished off Thawne when he had the chance Instead of literally letting him go!
He also basically led s5 Nora to erase herself from the timeline to escape his death sentence
I haven't watched the Flash in years but lm hoping this is the eye opener Barry needs to finally cut Thawne off. Even if he somehow comes back. At least it will delay the problems he has caused.

Only problem with this whole idea is that thawne would be weak as fuck. Barry's speed force thrives off positive emotions such as love. Thawne only feels bitter hatred so he'd be even slower than Barry in season 1.Barry doesn't hate many people but he hates Thawne meaning it would be easy to wipe him.
This thawne is getting old
Nah not exactly. You can get faster with the regular speed force so and there's ways of boosting it so his idea is actually pretty sound the writer's actually have solid idea here.
But Thawne has had the normal speed force before switching over to the negative one.
There was so many “it was me Barry” moments this episode
The Flash and Reverse-Flash's confrontation scenes are always on point🔥never disappoint they always deliver👏🏽Tom&Grant
2:29 So cold Snart shivered
I wish he would’ve said “It was me Barry... I started by doing a little housekeeping at star labs. And Then, I took care of the one father you had left”

that would be an awesome scene to show
yeah that would have been awesome, im gonna headcannon him saying it was me
Honestly, this is what Thawne should have done back in season 1. Would have saved so much trouble.
@MostaVerse Creating a new timeline with new events and things in the future. Since this timeline’s Flash created the still force, he was able to go back in time using the negative still force and make those major changes to the timeline to defeat The Flash without making the same mistake he did back in season one- getting stuck in the past.

This is terrifying
Edit: now what exactly was dion's idea here, send Barry to the future without speed and get him killed?
Dion himself didn't even know that it was Reverse Flash because Thawne uses a negative still force and speed force and hides therefore from Dion
Dion sent him to see the temporal disturbance and come back with a plan he never intended flash to face off thawne alone
For a while I almost thought Dion messed with the timeline
Where the fuck even is Dion? Nora not being there kinda makes sense (Although the Speed Force is a multiversal god, she should still know the real timeline, but I suppose this alternate timeline could leave her confused), but Dion is a time god! He should be there to give Barry some backup

ok wait hold up so Thawne (Flash) went back to 2013 while Thawne (Wells) struck himself? Wouldnt Wells notice a version of Thawne replacing barry?
He probably killed him self
He used the same face stealing tech he did back in season one, made himself look like barry
Well I think he made Barry reverse flash
That means there’s a whole timeline where Barry, as Reverse Flash, has been messing with team flash! I wanna see that
Exactly why it makes no sense... They should have had Letscher reprise Thawne at least.
This sort of implies that no one loved Barry Allen and instead just loved The Flash. Also, if Barry was killed as a kid in this timeline, how did he become Reverse-Flash?
Yeah, quite odd consider the Armageddon event happened in the Earth Prime timeline and not some alternate Earth
@@marozasulaiman379 as cool as this storyline was, there were too many plot holes
If he killed Barry as a kid then it makes sense that in this timeline reverse-flash would also be a kind of paradox.
@@conorgleeson2453 I forget that Reverse Flash is a living paradox

Barry; You have failed!
Thawne; You forgot “This City”
Barry; No, you just failed. *Shoot and arrow threw him*
0:54 „I started by doing a little Trolling“
so, does this mean that in this timeline, thawne has the norm speed force while barry has the negative one? wouldn't that make him immune to timeline changes or smth?
Writing is fickle with this show
They're both immune at this point

So, Thawne took Barry's place... Which has the Wells disguise making even less sense. This *definitely* should have had Thawne in his original form, i.e. Matt Letscher reprising the role.
Tom was supposed to leave the show for good after S6. But I guess they couldn't get Matt back.
