Where else better to test out the new 38" Milestar Patagonias than on the trail known as Holy Cross!?
This was a seriously fun and insane trail, and very possibly the rowdiest one we've been on so far. Lots of good times, cool people, fun obstacles, and of course plenty of trail damage!
Hope you all enjoy the video - I know it's a long one!
Stay tuned for the upcoming Trail Damage video! And don't forget to check out my Instagram page to see more rad stuff!

In 03 I bought a wrangler tj and learned to off road a stock 4 cylinder jeep. I had an absolute blast and it was the best way to learn how to correctly pick my lines and effectively get to some amazing places. In 2007 I bought a jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The fun ENDED.........Locking front and rear difs made everything easy. I didn't need to pick the best or only lines anymore. The Rubicon would climb almost anything even if you did it wrong. All the skill and challenges of off roading was gone. I loved my Rubicon but it will never be as fun and challenging as my old 4 banger open differential stock jeep. The best drivers dont need lockers and gadgets to get through tuff spots. They are the most skilled at picking a line and keeping the jeep on it. I promise you that. I jeeped with the Hemet Jeep Club, the oldest, largest jeep club in America. Those old dudes seriously know what they are doing and what does and doesn't work.

Awesome video guys! Love how yall constantly go balls to wall in every off road video. Every time someone questions the off road capabilities of JKs and JLs I just send them yalls videos and everyone I’ve shown are completely amazed by what they can do with so little upgrading of any at all! Keep up the great work hopefully one day I’ll see y’all on the trails.

Love the Jeep attitude, meaning it's similar to mine! Wheel it till it breaks, then upgrade it. You're having fun while doing it and not freaking out over the obvious, it's going to break. Keep it up, I'm not much for 4 doors but you guys make me proud that there are some JL owners that aren't going to the mall.

I used to live in Vail. Did this trail back in 2000 in my 3 month old 2000 TJ with a brand new 4.5" Rubicon Express lift before I got my lockers and 4.56 gears on 33x12.50 GY Wrangler MT's(original humvee style). Great trail but it takes FOREVER to get up and back. Fun times! I miss it. I packed horses all over those mountains as well.

    Lol...
First time I ran that trial was July 4th 1981.
    In my 1979 CJ5.
    manual steering, no power brakes.
Bought it new, as it set on the lot without a top...
    258 straight 6 n 4 speed w/ granny first...
By then I had put on "huge 31" tires....
One of my most memorable n fun jeep runs of my life !....

95% of Rubicons were used for mall crawling. Easy to avoid abused/heavily used ones. People that buy one of those super-modded Jeeps for $85k are NOT out climbing over rocks, they are posing.
