I’m trying my best to learn the teaching of Christianity these past few months but I’m struggling so hard to believe. Cliffe always has amazing answers to so many of my questions. I hope I can be saved and life a fulfilling life. A life of atheism is so depressing
Welcome home
When coming from a place of complete disbelief, it's hard to go to a particular religion. It's hard enough to come from another religion, and in that case you already believe In a higher power. I would strongly recommend looking into proof of theism In general. Really look at the evidence that a god exists, that will help you swallow it all
Despite what Cliff and Stuart claim, atheists can find tremendous meaning and joy in life. Recognizing that existence ends with death makes life sweeter for me, because my time is limited. Good luck on your journey, wherever it leads.

I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I truly thought I Knew who Jesus was until I discovered Cliff and I realized I hadn't the slightest clue of who he was and now I'm going back and learning who Jesus really was and what his plan is for my life ❤❤❤
As someone whose name is literally pronounced "pagan" you can imagine I wasn't raised religious.
But if God can show himself to my mother before she passed, and then show himself to me during my time of need, I know first hand that the bible is real. I already had faith before then, but it's different when he actually fills you with his grace and his love. Matthew 5:4, "blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

I grew up in church with parents forcing me to go and themselves being religious made me grow up not wanting to go even though i went i never understood the message i would block it out because i was always so angry the day my brother accepted Jesus and i saw how Jesus truly transformed him i was intrigued the day my brother passed and God allowed me to see where he is i was completely filled with hope from that day forward i choose Jesus he has filmed me with hope peace and love like i never felt before

@mr6378 I cried out to Jesus asking to see where my brother is and in my dream that night I got to see him in a beautiful place filled with flowers you can't find here on earth and some of the flowers were huge and I saw my brother walking into a filled of the greenest grass he was dressed in white I also saw other people young and old there. They were dressed in white. I called out to my brother but he could not hear me. But when I woke up I was filled with peace and joy and that morning.

I love this. Simple, tried and true Gospel. No wild revelations and complicated concepts. The Gospel is so simple and the truth of the Gospel will pierce the hearts of those who are willing to hear. The Holy Spirit doesn't need our "revelations" to help people understand.

God is not fair. If he was we would all die (the wages of sin). No, God is gracious - he offers us something we don't deserve. He counts us worthy of eternal life if we come to Him through His Son. God is much much more than just fair.

God is fair and just to most people yet He is also merciful but only to a fraction of people.
Fortunately God gave us choice...and by that we are held accountable for what we do,it's called being responsible for your own actions...if we do good or bad according to Gods rules,not ours.❤

The free will answer regarding why suffering exists doesn't really answer why God allows natural disasters like earthquakes and droughts that kill countless people. However, from a naturalistic viewpoint, it makes perfect sense that we live on a planet that was not specifically designed for us, the more we learn about the planet, the more we understand how suffering is part of life and innocent people unfortunately die.
He created us. Not controls.
God also watches countless sentient animals suffer and die for no reason. Nice guy 😒

I think you can be certain of it being easier to believe the validity of the two events in the story.
The only reason I didn’t say anything is because I don’t agree with the concept of framing it as an argument with an agreement within an intellectual history.

If we are all white energy in a white room how do we know what black is is all we know is white. Our God is so awesome he allows us a physical world to come & learn about ourselves and learn to love! Thomas Jefferson was a Diest. God created gave us free will and lives through us! Hate to break it to you, but we don’t live only one life, we live several lives. Each life we come with different goals we want to accomplish. We are eternal. We haven’t lost anyone! My God wouldn’t make me out of love, give me one chance on earth and if I don’t live a perfect life I’m punished for all eternity! That God doesn’t exist nor does he deserve worship.

2: Doesn't science and faith contradict each other.
Ans: The question is meaningless because faith is what you adopt when you have no evidence, while science is the reality check.
The goal of wanting to go to heaven is not seeing mommy and daddy or children…its worship and glorify God
5: Is the bible reliable.
Ans: Every religious book is reliable if it makes you feel good without evidence ( relies on faith). In that case, the bible is very reliable. Whether or not it is a source of truth is an entirely different matter, and has the same probability as any other religious book. So, if it makes you feel good, then go for it.
4: How can Jesus be the only way to God:
Ans: God is spiritual, and the only way to the spiritual world is to shed your physical body ( ie.. after you are dead). So the only way to God is to die, and Jesus died, so he is correct.

I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.

Ans: The idea of being raised from the dead is not unique, ( Jesus, Lazarus, Tabitha,) plus several people in the Greek and Hindu stories. You can choose to believe one or all of the stories, but the main idea i s there is nothing spectacular about any of them.

@@Hubersanti1 I think you missed my point. What I'm saying is that Jesus' resurrection isn't as unique as it's made out to be, considering Lazarus was also brought back to life. While Jesus resurrected Lazarus, it's plausible that another person with similar abilities could have resurrected Jesus. In the Bible, we read about Peter resurrecting a woman named Tabitha. So, why do we exclusively believe that Jesus had the sole power of resurrection or that his powers were somehow unique?
There's far too much emphasis on Jesus' resurrection to support the claim that he is God. It's disappointing that this singular event carries so much weight in such arguments. It's certainly not too far-fetched to think that a future technology might make resurrections a common occurrence. We need to raise our standards of evidence when it comes to making claims about God.
