I was told by a university professor when I did my biology and chemistry degree to always eat onions as onions contain left handed lysine, we were studying isomers, which is very important for the eyes and sight. He told us that left handed lysine was at the time only found in onions, no other foods. So ever since I always eaten onions regularly, mostly gently cooked, but occasionally raw. That was 40 years ago. My sight is still perfect. I also eat a large raw carrot every day when possible.

He said I could wait about 10 years for the surgery, but I researched and found the NAC drops. I am seeing a huge difference after about 3 months of using the drops and the supplement. The NAC in #8 he is referring to should be N-acetylcarnosine (NAC) and not N-acetylcysteine (which is also abbreviated as NAC). N-acetylcysteine (NAC) does replenish glutathione, but
N-acetylcarnosine (NAC), which comes as eye drops, would help prevent or reverse early (or immature) cataract formation. 🤷‍♂️👍

Tip for dog owners. There's also carnosine eye drops that, after several weeks of use, cleared a common type of cloudy cataract in my 14-year-old West Highland terrier's eyes and she stopped bumping into furniture and could clearly see much better - back to normal or nearly so. Her eyes remained clear for 4 more years until she passed away having only occasionally given her drops for maintenance (btw, she ate fresh cooked meat, no dog food). As Dr Berg explained, it's thought that cataracts form from sugars being added to proteins on the lens (glycation) and carnosine drops specifically work via an antiglycation effect. Animal studies confirmed this mechanism for carnosine drops and also showed carnosine reduced oxidative stress. I used the Can-C brand. [reposted this from a reply]

When I was living in Bali Indonesia, I found that 2 Babies were born Blind! - I checked the Parts of Particulate in the Tap Water & found it to be very high (200P.P.M.)
I theorised that maybe if people with Cataracts drank Distilled Water (no minerals or Particulates) their Cataracts might disappear.
4 people I helped to get rid of their Cataracts within 3 Months. (you need to keep up your good Minerals though as they also will eventually be removed)
Macular Degeneration is also being caused by eating "Canola Oil" in Australia.-
I have found that Coconut Oil is the best oil for many things, including most brain problems. ( Altzheimers, Parkinson's, M.S., Epilepsy, Autism, with Red Palm Oil also).

Within a week my cataracts were not only mostly gone but I ended up with 20/20 vision. My eyes are now clear and brilliant. All for a few dollars worth of castor oil. It also worked on the eyes of our 17 year old dog.

    • @SpamMouse
      @SpamMouse ปีที่แล้ว

Cure = Lens replacement surgery. Eating proteins with sugar produce advanced glycation end-products, AGE which is bad for eyes and everything else. I GUESS extended periods of fasting "might" improve things - but I doubt any variant of doctor would suggest this.

    • @scottslotterbeck3796

There was a flurry of interest in a doctor at UC San Diego who found that a cholesterol variant called lanosterol reversed cataracts in dogs. But you have to inject it in the lens capsule, and no one does that. I think they stopped the research b/c cararact surgery is so profitable for opthalmologists.

I have been extremely nearsighted from birth and had very successful LASIK surgery many years ago. I now have advanced cataracts (60 years old) - I believe from stress (cortisol) and too much sugar consumption. I am not keen to get cataract surgery due the many poor outcomes I have heard unless you have “garden variety” cataracts (which are very successful). I will do everything I can to flush, keep off sugars, and nutrient load my body and see what happens. Maybe I’ll take the surgery plunge if nothing else works anyway.

I've had very bad eyes ever since I was a young kid
Started having surgeries on my legs back and hips when I was 4 weeks old and they blamed all the x-rays. My glasses were like Coke bottles as a kid and I was teased terribly. Thank God for contact lenses that can correct really bad vision now. I've been fighting rheumatoid arthritis now for the last 17 years. They're getting me some of these steroids over the years they've just ruined my body from gaining terrible amounts of weight and then losing it and then gaining it again and losing it. I feel like my skin will never be tight again but I'm still working on it. I'm being told now I have cataracts from all the steroid use but I'm concerned about doing the surgery because the lenses are only single vision they put in which means glasses for the rest of my life. Right now contacts are correcting my vision so I'm keeping an eye on them. I was excited to see your videos on cataracts I'm going to try and do all I can to help them naturally and put up that surgery.

Thanks. What about lutein eye drops. I heard that taking it orally does not have equal benefits as direct eye drops.

Hello doc is there a super food supplement that I can take to ensure I get all these vitamins and minerals you talk about. I have eliminated most 90% of my sugar intake. I rarely eat carbs and I eat mainly meat, vegetables, and nuts. But in order to take all these vitamins and minerals you recommend I will need to own my own vitamin store. So is there a super supplement I can take.

His wheatgrass juice powder is a very source of all kinds of nutrients but not stable in specific nutrients. So if you want some stable numbers, I suggest his trace minerals and electrolytes at least. ❤
