Dr Berg can you clarify in regards to oils like expeller pressed sunflower oil? Is that still inflammatory if it's expeller pressed or does that not make a difference? I try as best I can to avoid any of the other known inflammatory oils but it's really hard to find certain foods that don't have some type of an inflammatory oil. Sometimes I see expeller pressed and wonder if that's better. Thank you!

8 months ago I was a physical wreck at 48. Overweight and achy. I literally felt like I was 88 not 48. I was also pre diabetic. I started watching Dr Berg and followed his advice. I gave up sugar and carbs (bread, pasta and starchy vegetables) and do intermittent fasting and prolonged fasting and am now fully keto and feel like I am 21 again. I am totally unhooked from sweets and carb foods. It's so easy to do as well.

Hi I’m sorry that you’re struggling with sadness. I don’t know what is going on but I know it’s important to get it out with someone professional. sometimes we don’t know what’s making us sad. they will talk with you and you may be able to realize what the problem and how to accomplish whatever you need to feel lifted. I went so low, I almost was not here. I hope regardless of the reasons, you’ll talk to your minister, therapist, psychologist, not psychiatrist bc they’re not able to dig and help only prescribe drugs.
I also hope you’re taking VitB, C D n B12. All of these especially D will help lifts your spirits. If the problem is ongoing, help may be the best option. Make sure you get sleep with natural herbs not drugs. Sleep is detrimental for your mental n physical health.

@@redraven7739 I know it will be hard but try getting an exercise regime going like just fast walking. Do it every other day if you can't do it every day. This increases oxygen to the brain and after 2 weeks you'll feel like you've been exercising your brain too. It should make the sadness go away. I'm not a Dr, just someone who's felt the same way you described.

@@billy2491 I am 34, nearly 35, but this is what I've been doing for some months now and plan to continue for decades to come (but with some variation as it's a lot tablets and want to experiment) - never felt better and skin is looking good (not that it ever was bad):
B1, B2, B3, B6 (evenings - good for sleep) copper, zinc, D3, K2, MSM, silica, oregano oil, flax seed oil and/or cod liver oil, milk thistle, and just added Dong Quai to it. Sometimes I have a spoonful of ghee in the mornings.
I feel good and confident continuing with these, but as that is many tablets a day I sometimes forget to take a few but that's fine.
I do 18/6 IF and get enough sleep and go for long walks regularly and do some other workouts, as I feel. Dr Berg has helped me a lot.
I use vitamin E oil on face regularly, and melatonin cream or retinoid, and alpha arbutin + HA by Ordinary.

Only once did I dry fast and that lasted about 48 hours because instead of getting clear, I felt ill and weak. My family was worried about me because I was lethargic and looked unwell. I’m 74 , a few years ago, I was looking very I’ll. I was underweight really life not worth living. I cut out all grains, processed foods, sugar, artificial sweeteners, it’s not a overnight way of life. Sugar was a addiction, my blood sugar dropped constantly I never went anywhere without food. I didn’t know sugar and carbs caused low blood sugar. Now I eat protein and vegetables , my blood sugar never drops. You don’t have to read labels you only eat real foods. I eat vegetables with every meal (yes breakfast). If you fail it’s because your not eating enough vegetables I use fresh and frozen. For lunch I eat a whole dinner plate of salad. My husband doesn’t follow my diet but now eats a huge salad for lunch and is feeling better. Fats are important olive oil, real butter a must. Plus I drink only water with salt, potassium added. I do take lots of supplements. This is the first time in my life that I feel normal . You can do this, my diet was so bad. To make cooking easy I do most of my vegetables in the oven season with salt ( Redmond Real salt delicious) and olives oil.
Don’t give up its so worth it to feel good.

Next day we neither drink nor eat .Third day morning after sunrise we take clove, ginger, cardimom, black pepper, cinneman, nutmeg soup. after that we eat food with ghee(fine butter. ) After that I feel so light and energetic. Also we eat any types of pickles from generation

Since I started listening you my health condition improves a lot, shed almost 20 kg, lot better in shape and energy.
Muslims are doing this dry fasting for almost 30 days in every year for centuries without knowing what benefits they are getting from it.
    Thanks Dr for explaining everything👍

All very helpful. The stress of my mother's hospital stay and death made me age ten years in 2 months.
    I appreciate this.
