I live in Tucson and for everyone wondering, YES this man is clinically INSANE lol. So glad you survived. Great video!
Thanks for watching!
I live in Tucson also. I work outside as a diesel mechanic 12-14hrs daily. It’s definitely bearable
@@Adiazz.93 God bless you because… it’s a no for me!
For a realtor, you make great videos. I like your creativity!
Really appreciate that! I enjoy making them, and I try to give as much information as I can while also making the video entertaining to watch.
The heat in Arizona is deadly.
Certainly can be, yes. Definitely don't recommend anyone doing this, but I still believe you can be outside in the heat during the cooler hours of the day and enjoy yourself.
What a fantastic video! You are so creative, seriously and perfectly executed.
Appreciate that so much! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
This is such a creative idea for a video! And, the information provided is super helpful. Thanks, Brian!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I grew up on the farm in south texas where its 100 degrees with 99 percent humidity. As a child id be out there sunup to sundown. As an adult im an outdoorsman who is outside everyday all day backpacking and hiking. For me as long as i stay hydrated (including electrolytes) im perfectly fine. I drink tons of liquids and i do mean tons and im good to go.
@nomaderic That's the key - lots of water, and shade if you can.
I was walking around Tempe the first week of October in 2020, and it was a gorgeous day! I felt wonderful! Suddenly, something crawled down my back! It startled me and I reached around and…my back was covered in sweat! I thought it was a bug! But no, it was sweat! It was shocking because my face, chest, arms were completely dry! I pulled up the weather app, and was stunned to see that it was 105°! I thought it was in the 80’s! So I learned that day how deceptive the heat is in Arizona due to the low humidity! I live in San Antonio, TX, where we suffer from 95% humidity in the summer 🥵 so an 85° day feels like 105°! Arizona is a desert paradise for me 😌 🏜️ another great video by the way, you’re hilarious! I love your collaborations with Ryan Meeks too, y’all are brilliant together!
@anamansfield3297 The dry heat is so much easier to take IMO. And thanks for the kind words! Ryan and I help each other a lot both with clients and videos. We need to do another one soon.
I think one thing people also don't realize is how much the humidity effects how you feel. When you say a comfortable 92, in Georgia 92 feels like death in a bottle. :-) But, our humidity changes everything. Great video concept!
People joke about the "it's a dry heat" but that's REAL. I have a much easier time at 110 with 15% humidity than I do at 90-90. Thanks for watching!
thats a lie. 92 and humid in georgia is comfy and tropical. you cant even feel the sun and you never feel your skin burning. you just gotta shower before bed and accept sweating ad having damp clothes, but its so much nicer than dry heat. arizona heat you can feel the sun because theres no humidity to filter the rays. its like a laser beam. also no chapped lips, dry eyes, or MORNING NOSE BLEEDS in georgia. arizona you have to buy a humidifer and run at night
Bro just fled to Payson 😭😭 good video though lol!
Had to do something 😄 Although the lack of AC on the trip up and back might have canceled out any benefit I got from doing that.
What a great idea for a video! Reminds me of my drive across the California desert last week with no a/c. Wouldn’t want to do it again, but we survived with plenty of water. I think another big thing is how the first Summer is the hardest, but how your body adjusts to being able to tolerate these temperatures. We still laugh when we say how nice out it feels when it is still 100 degrees!
Thank you so much! It actually wasn't nearly as hard to do this as I was expecting. Lots of water and shade made it easier.
What makes it survivable is the low humidity. Try being outside when the humidity is high and the temperature is 105+, it's hell! I was outside during such an instance and got mild heatstroke - the sweats. Best way to survive, big brim hat, hydration, low activity. When the humidity is high seek shade and stay in shade, or risk death.
Or stop being a baby. Its no diff to hot countries like dubai etc. i go out n about in scottsdale in heat just b in shade during peak sun and its ok
You can be outdoors just got to be smart and hydrate and learn when to do activities
Humdity is my number one enemy. I need somewhere as dryer as possible to feel comfortable. That's the reason I love Arizona state.
Totally agree!
i left arizona to oregon cuz of the heat
I did the opposite because of the cold.
@@ArizonaDreamin arizona is colder in the winter than Oregon. Especially flagstaff and page and Prescott and anywhere north of phoenix. Heck sometimes in winter phoenix is pretty cold at night. Oregon is just wet and depressing all winter. Rain day after day after day really takes a toll on the mind. At least foggy forests and coastlines make for good photos i guess.
@PhaseSkater Eastern and Central Oregon are colder than Flag or anywhere else in AZ. Most of Oregon is high desert, but people only know about the valley and the coast because that's where 90% of the population lives. Similar to how many think all of AZ is desert and don't know about the areas up north. I lived all over Oregon and couldn't take the bone chilling, snowy winters or the cold, dark, depressing months in the valley. Different strokes as they say.
@@ArizonaDreamin idk about that. Flagstaff is colder than bend Oregon by far. Arizona snow bowl is colder than mount bachelor. I literally drive down there several times each winter for the colder and lighter snow. Heck it snows at north rim of Grand Canyon sometimes even in July. It ain’t snowing in bend Oregon in July EVER! Just saying lol. I’m thinking of moving somewhere that’s still not as hot as Arizona but stays sunny a lot. Like Utah or Idaho. Montana may be a bit too cold in winter though. Colorado is still cold and expensive. I just wish a perfect place existed lol
This was great! Agree that this was a good idea for a video. Learned a lot too so thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the AZ sombrero!
Muchas gracias amigo!
Can you imagine if you tried that in June of 1990 when it was 122 degrees?
Cool. What's that music in Gilbert background?
Come join my paving crew out here in Phx. Just stand by and then let me know if you want to be outside 😂
92° in So Cal is dangerous for us. Hubby had a hemorrhagic stroke, and I have thyroid issues that cause temperature regulation problems. Think about your health before you move to high temp areas. You can short your life by years.
Wow. These comments. People are so damn soft. I grew up in the Imperial Valley the 80’s. Built fence and moving cows in 120 degrees. All day long. Yeah. It’s hot. Take salt tablets and wear long sleeve shirts. And quit whining
I clicked out after a minute, couldn't watch whole thing. Different generation I guess...
shut up bro 😭 🙏🏻 you know damn well 120f is hot. accept sum humility stop tryna be a manly man bro 😭
Realtor 40 yrs here in Phoenix. Fossil Creek is my go to cool down.....and if course San Diego. Timmy C Arizona
Great places to go! Thanks for watching!
It’s different when you work in it.
I guess one of your favorite songs is Arizona by Mark Lindsay.
Had to look that one up 😄
it’s fine, I’ll be outside all day…..thermometer died because it’s too hot.
They don't make 'em like they used to.
Maybe you can, but not everybody can.
