Nothing worked until I plugged the TV directly into the wall. I had just had a power outage/surge for just a moment overnight and had left the TV on. Maybe it fried the specific slot on the extension outlet I had it plugged into. I don't know. It works like normal now.

This method not working on my tv because the backlight is broken this is the most common problem of the lcd TVs doesn't matter of mark and model. Everybody can check by self with strong flash light on the screen, if the tv is working you will be able to see picture, very pale. This mean the backlight is broken, but they sell it everywhere and is not expensive at all.

All the logos show up but when the tv boots the black light just turns off and when you flash a light you can see that it’s the black light that’s the issue
