We did the high clearance cut on our Runner but just did it without the kit and actually used the lower bumper line. Either way comes out really good normally as long as a person takes their time to keep the lines clean. Now we have upgraded to the full bumper from Hefty Fabworks. Keep up the work on mods and off road adventures great job.
Looks sweet man! Just stumbled across your channel, what’s your suspension setup on the 4 runner? And I’ve got the discovery MT’s on my 14’ Tacoma, they’ve worn well but they’re starting to get louder and rough at slower speeds on road, how have they been on the 4 runner? You rocking 285 or 275? Love the way you’ve set y’all’s up
Thank you, it's a work in progress but I've loved it ever step of the way (even before it was supercharged!) we've still go the stock TRDpro (Bilstein) suspension. We just recently added some special bump stops that have eliminated the sag in the back, the video is coming out soon! Currently on 285/70/17's and close to 50k miles on the STT Pros. Definitely louder as they've worn, but they still offer plenty of grip in the sand and the mud.
What’s the stock on the TRD? 2 1/2 roughly? Any rubbing before all this cool stuff? Lol I like the way it sits. We’ve got a 2020 SR5, I really only plan on a leveling kit since it’s my wife’s.. but I’m 50/50 on 275 or 285’s. Sell me your wheels!
@@lancepoteet2172 I believe it's 1" over stock. The front would rub when I was at full steering lock, especially in reverse. I ended up fixing it by trimming the fender liner (I have another video about it) but with the high clearance it would've fixed it anyways!
@@ToTheDirt thanks for the info. Think I’m gonna pull the gun on a 3” level with new shocks and 285’s on the wife’s sr5 on stock wheels. Offset is was jacks everything up in my experience. Hopefully she’ll ride!
@@ToTheDirt the toggle is to switch between left handed and right handed threads. Its not meant for removing anything. Using it to remove bolts can mess up the calibration of the torque wrench

Thank you Jeremy!
Nice Rig! You’re braver than I. I plan to do a full bumper chop with a cbi bumper eventually but I’m too attached to mine to cut into her myself 😂

I have installed this on my rig.... How did you salve the problem of the inner fender liner slapping at high speed?
Zip Ties
Hi did you lift your 4runner? Or that a stocks? I'm planning todo mine real soon!
Just the "stock" TRDpro lift
Nice. Not sure if I want to do that to mine. Other than that, what size tires do you have on if you don't mind me asking? It looks like 285-70/17?
yessir those are the exact specs!
@@ToTheDirt thank you for the response and info good sir.

Hi, can these be installed on the stock bumper, without the C4 bumper?
No sir no where to bolt it on to. This is also for the SSO bumper I’m not sure if it’s compatible with C4.
@@ToTheDirt Thank you for the prompt response.
Dude don’t use a torque wrench to remove anything!!
😬it’s all I had unfortunately.
Serious question though. What’s the harm? The torque wrench has a toggle...

@@bighossp I’ve since bought a breaker bar lol!
