omg imagine an alternate ending where all this goes down, she surveys and she secretly records Jill hurting herself for the setup but instead of that entire showdown in the actual film Jill never finds out about Sydney surviving going along with the narrative that Jill is the victim/survivor but then as she’s basking in her five minutes out comes Kirby with proof for her arrest so then we’d have a killer alive for once ha
See I wondered if Charlie didn't really stab her as deep as he made it look. He could have told kirby to play dead and perhaps even drugged the knife with a sedative so she wouldn't get involved. Then Kirby goes to her family's safe room and watches everything play out but passes out before she can help.
He only stabbed her because of how she finally noticed him, but at the end of the day that’s attempted murder and other charges he would’ve gotten if he had survived.
I loved this idea. I do remember right before Sidney gets jumped by Charlie, she’s about to go back downstairs to Kirby and she hears the door open, call for Kirby, and it sounds like someone crawling. It had to have been Kirby since both Charlie and Jill are already upstairs.
I kinda wanna see them open with 2011 and the remake massacre. Pull a Halloween Kills right down to the cinematography and anything else that may need to be done to give it that feel it’s the events of 2011. Hell, show us Kirby surviving then getting medical treatment for fun then we get the current day opening “kill” leading into her getting a call about murders or maybe she’s the one attacked but survives. Hell, have Dermot Mulroney’s character reminisce over his child’s attack even.

I still cant believe Kirby is back in 6! So sick! I remember just shy of 12 years ago now being so invested in the “is she alive or dead” content that was floating around back in 2011!
I hope we get a cool flashback sequence. Like...Final Destination 5 where we see a portion of the scene combined with the new actors. We could see Hayden dressed as Kirby in 2011 and some portion of that conversation or something close to that. I need a flashback to tie things together. Kirby's not just a survivor, we've been screaming (pun not intended) for 12 years to see her back so please do us justice and make her come back worth it.
Do a camera blur and distorted voices or AI generated voices of them since she’s feeling a little woozy here so you can have Emma and Neve lookalikes be in the flashback, that would be acceptable in the case of her stabbed and bleeding out.

My only issue is unless she was in the basement and it took them a while to find her, there’s no explanation to the media reporters saying Jill was the sole survivor. Even with Sidney in there it didn’t make sense but with Kirby surviving or being treated for her wounds they would have announced it. Also had she not been found later, Jill would have known she survived before going to the hospital. So I think she locked herself in the room in the basement, Jill was rushed to the hospital, they found Kirby and began some onsite treatment and she alerted the police of only Charlie since she didn’t know about Jill yet but she hadn’t been admitted or taken in before Jill was found out. I think she found out about Jill after the Sidney finished her in the hospital
@@j2174 I mean I know she would have known there was a second one but I don’t think she would have figured out who it was until after. I think she would have found out from Sidney or the media afterwards. And if she was in the ICU why would Dewey have only told her that it’s touch and go with Sidney but she just might make it but not Kirby who was Jills best friend? At the time they didn’t know it was Jill meaning Dewey would have also had to not know Kirby was alive when all of this was going down.
Anyone else find his writing really engaging? His character work literally takes you through so many emotions with them in one small chapter. Just release the damn novels already.
For a franchise that’s been around as long as this I’m surprised they haven’t pulled a flashback scene that’s in connection to a previous film adding to lore yet.
You're right. We _never_ had or saw any *flashback* in every Scream film. They could make something different this time, at least by showing a flashback about some important details.
Love these lore expansions dude! I'm currently writing an in-universe spinoff about an orignal Ghostface character and these are inspirational, it's good to know movies like this can be adapted into words :D

I really hope we get some flashbacks from Kirby...yet again scream doesn't do flashbacks but that would be a cool way to introduce Kirby and show us what happened after she was stabbed

I don't think Charlie even had ill intentions of killing Kirby like he just stab her twice enough to let her know the pain she put him through of wanting to be her boyfriend even though she had no idea if he told Jill that Kirby was still alive she go back and kill Kirby herself.

Technically speaking then Charlie wouldn't have tried to kill Kirby if he was her boyfriend basically and the fact his motive is very woke well all 9 of Ghostface motives are woke though half of them like this one is ridiculous.

Kirby flashed back to the night Charlie stabbed her. He commented about how it wasn't like in the movies but then he whispered something else. "Pretend like you are dying," he whispered. He did stab her but nowhere near as deeply as it looked. Kirby realized thar Charlie was sparing her but he wasn't alone. Someone else wanted her dead. She went back toward house through the garage but instead of going there she pressed a sequence on the alarm system. Kirby's parents had installed a safe room years ago. She never thought she would have needed it and she never really took it seriously. She watched as the secret door creaked open and snuck in. The room was large with cameras set up throughout the whole house. She wanted to help but she didn't know who Charlie's partner was and she didn't want to be fooled again. She gasped as she saw Jill kill Charlie. She couldn't help but feel a bit sad for him, he did spare her. But it was obvious that now that Jill had brought out his dark side. He killed Olivia and it was extremely brutal. Charlie got what he deserved but Jill was three steps ahead of everyone. She watched as Jill stabbed Sydney and then she beat herself up pretty violently. She needed to call the police but the land line was cut and there wasn't a separate line in the safe room. Her phone was dead as well. She didn't know what to do, but the world went black. She had been going on adrenaline but now that she was somewhat safe she wondered if Charlie had drugged her to keep her from Interfering. She passed out and by the time she woke up, her house was empty except for the police. She called over the intercom and explained where she was and how to find her. She was sent to the hospital to clean her wound and she would ask for a tox screen as well. But when she got there she was furious when every single news outlet was there, saying Jill was a hero. There was no way she was going to let that happen. "Jill Robert's is not a hero! She screamed as the cameras all moved in her direction. I saw what Happened and Jill was the mastermind behind all of thus. Dewey came out right then, and was shocked to see a very much alive Kirby! "Sydney overheard Charlie tell Jill you were dead!" "I think he still had feelings for me, at least a little. He did stab me but he whispered for me to play dead. Then I hid in my safe room! Judy Hicks was next outsode.. sound to me like Kirby is your hero here. NO Kirby insisted. I don't want that kind of attention. I am just lucky to be alive. I hid through the worst of it." And that's how I would do it so it's a little more realistic
There was going to be a scene in Scream 4 where police and paramedics find Kirby and say "We've got a heartbeat" showing she was alive but I don't think they filmed it.
I like this idea! Very creative. I honestly feel like Kirby likely crawled back into the room she came out from to help Charlie. It’s likely she knew something was in there she could use to add pressure to her wound, slow the bleeding & she could hide. Kirby also still had her phone. When she ended the call with Ghostface (Jill) & went outside, she put the phone in her back pocket before untying Charlie. He walked off without grabbing it off her. I think she probably called the police from the downstairs room/basement. I really hope 6 goes into detail so we know exactly what happened. Hopefully they will & it won’t be stupid also lol
You mentioned that Kirby beat ghostface in the horror movie game, and that she was the first character to ever do so. But my memory serves correct all she did was name off every horror movie she could think of like a George Carlin rant... I don't know if that counts as winning if you answer the question 487 times
I think she was only at the stairs listening till she feel unconscious or she was unconscious the whole time in the backyard.And Imo Jill didn't had a rough childhood or a disturbing one,because there isn't one lol.She was neglected by her mom,abandoned by her dad and living in a shadow of sidney.Yes it looks bad but not bad enough for her to be completely evil like she revealed how much she was(Tbh with every spoken word by Jill Sidney was more and more shocked,at least it looked like it to me.And tbh I was too shocked,we saw in every killer at least some humanity, but in Jill it was just jealousy,envy, greed,evil...all the bad traits a person can have,nothing good ).She's my fav and imo best ghostface,but lets face it,she was evil even if she had the perfect life.But I do like it that you are trying to humanize her in some ways,even if she is a psychopath 85%
I know y’all love Kirby, but her being alive is a retcon. In Scream 4 reporters and even Dewey himself confirmed that Jill and Sidney were the only survivors of the incident at Kirby’s house. I really hope they come up with a convincing way she survived because to keep it a secret makes no sense.
Rewatching 4 Dewey mentioned to Jill in the hospital “she’s still alive and fighting”. Maybe he was talking about Kirby and not Sydney seeing as Sydney had gotten out of her surgeries
It’s most likely that she hadn’t been found at the same time as Jill and Sydney. Since Kirby was outside in the backyard, and every other body was right in the kitchen.

9:34 You novelising certain parts is interesting. The idea of Kirby trying to get help after Charlie stabbed her only to find Jill ranting at Sidney and her realising Jill was the other killer is sad.
I remembered in an interview that, Sir Wes Craven (I know he wasn’t knighted but he should have been) said he liked the character Kirby and wished she wasn’t killed off. I’m glad she’ll return for Scream 6.
Still say we might see Kirby either hearing and or seeing Jill's monologue, and showing how she managed to get away and disappear. And no one else knew she was still alive years later lolz
Now all tho this seems like a good theory, I rewatched the movie and If you have earphones in during that scene, after Sidney calls for Kirby she doesn’t respond but u hear some sounds down there in the basement like she’s finding stuff to cover her wound. I wonder if maybe they will let her explain what goes down after that or do a flashback similar to what Halloween Kills did, cause I think we all deserve some sort of scene or reason how she survived. But it’s going to be interesting to see scream 6 and what they do for her character. My theory is she heard everything going on above and cause Jill was screaming super loud at Sidney and her reasoning for doing all this and so she stayed down there avoiding anything and just trying to save herself cause she was weak losing all that blood
I was going to comment this. Ever since that movie was released I always thought that was Kirby. I think Kirby made it back to the basement, but heard Charlie and Jill so stayed quiet as she was in no position to do anything due to the stab wounds.

That’s how I knew she was alive, but yea she definitely was in no condition to help Sidney she got stabbed twice in the gut and was bleeding out I doubt she would try to play hero and plus she was a horror movie fan she knows it wouldn’t be the smartest thing to do to help Sidney fight them off
The only thing I don't like about Kirby surviving is that it made the events at the end of scream 4 at the hospital totally irrelevant. Eventually, whether Jill knew it or not, Kirby was going to wake up Just like Sydney and tell the cops what she knew. So yeah that's a little weird

I think Kirby is the new killer. She planned the murders with Jill. They both planned to be survivors. So, the horror movie geek didnt know her best friend and long time crush were the killers? Yeah, right. And she conveniently gets stabbed but not to die? I think the killers in the new movie are kirby, stu, and tara's dad.
Isn't so convenient that Kirby is a police officer in New York and guess what, the killers are in New York too!!! lol. She would have access to all the crime scene things found in the shrine, she would have insight to feed her partners, and tara's dad would be easy to motivate considering Sam outed the fact he wasn't her dad and Billy was her real father, and Stu is the OG killer who never died. It makes sense to me. Tara could even be in on it.
I really hope that the next ghostface gets arrested at the end instead of going out in a blaze of glory like the others. It would help set up the seventh film
There's a moment, just before Charlie attacks Sidney, she heard the door opening and says: "Kirby?". Then Charlie attacks her! I think that was Kirby opening the door.

What if kirby was a 3rd killer on her own and when she found out Jill was along with Charlie and heard jills plan and heard they died, decided to steal her fame plan and f waited for stu to serve his 25 years in prison to come back again in 6 and the reveal will be Kirby and stu are the killers and stu is her older brother.
In the movie when jill comes down the stairs and says Trevor Is a liar bla bla bla Kirby looks at her like, "yeaaah right sketchy bitch" at that moment I realized along with the kirby character that jill was a ghostface. Thats why we love her, she super relatable.
I absolutely love your content and channel! I’ve been in love with Scream since 1996 and I also enjoyed the underrated Scream Tv show, but only the first two seasons. I’m still sad we never got any closure on that story. It would be cool to have Emma, Brooke, Audrey, and Noah brought into a scream film for a cameo. I thoroughly enjoyed your expansion of the movies bc I do feel that there is one issue with the films that always lets me down with each new release. I know these are slasher films and Sidney is the main character of the franchise and now the Carpenter sisters are transitioning into that role, but these stories are VERY self-referential and nods are always given to other horror films or past movies. The area that the franchise has never fully taken advantage of is Gale’s legacy of death, loss, and destruction because she chose to capitalize on the murder of Maureen Prescott, but also the killing spree of Billy Loomis and Stu Macher. Gale admitted to embellishing the events that she barely survived herself, and sensationalized the gruesome deaths of Steven Orith, Casey Becker, Principal Himbry, her own cameraman Kenny, and Tatum Riley. In Scream 2, we see the complete spectacle the studio has made to promote a film that REALLY IS BASED ON TRUE EVENTS! Gale sensationalized the deaths of all of these people, and made the killers household names by selling the rights to her book, the Woodsboro Murders to Sunrise Studios, which birthed a lucrative film franchise on the tragic deaths of countless innocent people, including minors. Fans of the Stab films only know Casey Becker as the “character” and not the person who was brutally murdered while on the phone with her parents. The fans also think of Heather Graham when they hear the name Casey Becker, which is similar for the other dead people that were replaced by actors in the film about the loss of their lives. The aftermath of these movies has led to decades of senseless murder, but the issue is never really explored in the Scream movies themselves. No one EVER mentions poor Steven Orith, who was the real first person to be murdered by his girlfriend’s psychotic ex boyfriend. Sidney and Dewey have NEVER ONCE spoken about Tatum, who was Sidney’s loyal friend that was gruesomely killed by Sidney’s boyfriend moments before Sidney slept with him. Dewey lost and failed to protect his little sister! Why is this a conversation that we never saw once during screams 2-5? With Dewey’s death, the Riley’s connection to Sidney has cost that family the legacy and continuation of their family line. This is never spoken about, just as the murders of Sheriff Judy Hicks and her teenage son, Wes, was simply glossed over instead of recognizing that the entire Hicks family is now dead, especially when these characters grew up together! The character most wasted in the franchise to provide insight into the origins of all of the death and mayhem, Maureen Prescott herself, her rape, her promiscuous behavior, and rejection of her own son, was Kate Roberts. Kate was Maureen’s sister and could have known so much about her sister that Sidney or her father never knew. But Kate and Sidney NEVER share a single meaningful conversation about their family and her mother in Scream 4. That’s why I was so glad to hear your expansion and listen to Kirby reflect on the brutal murder of their childhood friend Olivia. Olivia has one of the most brutal murders in the entire franchise, but NONE of her friends seem very bereaved by her loss or having watched Olivia fight for her life until she’s being flung lifelessly out of her window. We’ve seen Sidney think about Billy and Derek, but that’s about it! Sidney’s poor choices cost Hallie and Derek their lives. In scream 6, Kirby never mentions how it felt to know your best friend plotted to kill you like you were nothing more than a housefly. Chad or Mindy had no regrets for how terribly they were to Liv before she was shot in the head. Between the Stab franchise and Gale’s legacy of turning tragedy into movies and money, as well as turning tragic murder victims into “characters” in horror films, Scream has a unique angle that should resolve when the story finally comes to an end. The Scream franchise needs to end with the story and narrative being given back to the many victims who have been silenced by Ghostface killer over the past two decades and had their lives, names, and stories stolen from them by their killer and the Stab franchise. The stab movies should stop and Gale should do what she said she would do in Scream 5, which is write about the victims and who they really were, and what they could have become if not for a set of horror films that made the killer’s household names, when they should forever remain in obscurity. And the mask and costume should be discontinued and no longer available to be purchased every Halloween by fans that have no idea how much they are mocking the memory of every single person that had their lives cut short by some psycho or fanboy that wanted to be famous, or simply take a life “just cause”. Scream as a franchise has to face its sinister counterpart and self-created monster that is the Stab Franchise, for the story to finally be over and for those who survive, to finally find their happily ever after.
You should’ve helped direct scream 6. I would’ve been dope hearing Kirby explain her friendship with Jill for a few seconds. Scream 6 was too rushed and didn’t have enough love put into it

Wow, this was impressive and creatively done! I just thought if Kirby survived, Charlie did maybe intentionally stabbed her once but didn't expected her to live since it was deep. Kirby run as fast as she could away from the house and called for help. If the police discovered that she was alive back then, they would mention it and have a scene at the hospital since Sidney, Gale and Kirby had only one stab wound each. It was just later on discovered that she was alive and also a victim.
I just watched 4. I feel kirby started questioning at her house when she was looking for everyone and jill came downstairs saying she found her phone and that trevor never went upstairs to find her.
Kirby would have only found out at the very end of the movie or after the events of the fourth film. I imagine she was unconscious after being stabbed twice by Charlie.
I wouldn't say that Kirby had apparently beaten Ghostface at the trivia game. She didn't even wait for the end of the final question, then she blurted out an endless stream of potential answers, of which only the first answer would count to Ghostface anyway. That's actually my least favorite scene in the movie, because I don't believe Kirby would react that way. It never felt right.
Good, but I think Kirby got back inside much quicker, probably from an adrenaline rush. Right before Charlie grabs Sidney, without the costume on, Sidney's at the top of the basement stairs. There's a small squeak/creak sound, and Sidney calls out "Kirby?" right before she's grabbed. I think that was the sound of a door hinge as Kirby crawled back inside. Maybe then she passed out for a moment and the rest could've gone as said in the video.
What if Kirby was actually one of the killers with Charlie or became a killer later in the movie, without knowing that Charlie was working with Jill? That way she can be the killer in Scream 6.
Only Sidney wasn't dead. She survived her attack and killed Jill at the hospital. Sidney is a survivor and can not easily be killed. She's tough. This scene from Scream 4 I don't like, but it proves why Sidney is my favorite final girl and why Jill called her Michael Myers. She's the angel of death. If Ghostface can't kill Sidney with two stabs, then how could Michael Myers kill her with one? He wouldn't. Sidney is too tough and who be a perfect match for Michael Myers, more so than Laurie Strode.
Kirby is not a main character in part 6. It's already been revealed that she will have a very limited screen time. so basically she's just going to be another victim. she probably won't be the opening kill since they're going to have to have her appear and explain how she survived and what happened to her after her attack. but Kirby will only be appearing for a few scenes.
Loved this theory. Made me inspired to write one as well. So here it goes, hope you read it - but it won't be full of details as yours. After Kirby was stabbed by the guy she was secretly in love with, she was left to die. Luckily for her, Charlie - the psychopath who had just attacked her - didn't wait to confirm her demise. She fell on ground, and in that very instance when her body hit the ground, it was actually a relief: for one little second the pain caused by her body hitting the ground, took over the pain from her wounded stomach. But it was just for one second. The next one would be as painful as she never thought it could be. Is this how it is in the movies? Is this what the victims of Stab went through? And then it hit her: she was going to be just another victim in the next Stab movie... she was going to die. Although she knew her fate was certain, she couldn't give up. They have to know that Charlie is the killer! So with the thought of justice and protection over her friends, she had to fight. She was agonyzing on the floor, but something had to be made. She tried to stand up on her feet, but she couldn't. She was pressuring her wounds and couldn't stand without using her arms to support her body. She was bleeding real bad. So for one moment, she gave up. She was actually getting used to the pain, she had made her mind. It was her end. With tears rolling down to her ears, and observing the dark sky, she started reflecting. As she let herself give up, she remember all of the good moments she had in her life. The times she spent with her family, with Olivia, maybe she would meet Olivia on the other side and hug her one last time. Then she started remembering the fun she had with Jill. Wait, Jill!!! Jill is still in the house, and since she saw Robbie die, and Ghostface called her when Charlie was mouth taped, it has to be Trevor! She couldn't give up. She has to save them. If she's going to die, let it be with dignity. She took off her jacket, and tied it against her wounds, pressuring them. She accepted the fact that she couldn't stand up, so she crawled. She crawled backwards, she couldn't let the blood drop faster. She was crawling towards the garage, where she previously was with Sidney, before she got the phone call. She was already weak. Crawling would only make it worse. She stopped crawling, she was giving up once again. Little did she know that Sidney had heard a noise coming from there. If only she'd crawled a little bit more, Sidney could've helped her. Suddenly, the silence was ruined by a loud noise coming from upstairs the garage. Someone was fighting Ghostaface. They need her help. So she started crawling again, only this time Sidney was not waiting for her upstairs, she was being attacked. Kirby could hear them, but she didn't have the strenght to scream. Besides, she can't make anything stupid. She has to catch them off-guard. She was already injured. So she slightly crawled towards the stairs. She was crawling in pain and agony, purely weak. But she couldn't let Trevor and Charlie win. And then she heard: "- Jill?", "- Hello Sidney. Surprised?" Kirby was shocked. It was Jill. No... it can't be!! Maybe Trevor is forcing her, maybe Jill was pretending to be on Trevor's and Charlie's side so she could defeat them off-guard. But as she continued to hear, she soon realized that Jill was actually the mastermind. Kirby was scared, weak, but so far procted. No one would come downstairs in the garage, right? She could lay there a little bit on those stairs. The shock of finding out that her best friend was the killer actually helped her not pay too much attention into the pain coming from her guts. But that wasn't actually the case. She was getting numb, as if she was about to pass out. And she did. Kirby opened her eyes, and her vision was quite blurry. And for a moment she wasn't quite sure if she had died or if she was still alive. Maybe she died. She had to be dead. That jacket wasn't holding back enough blood. Maybe now she can see Olivia again. She was relieved. She could almost smile in that moment, in fact she was about to. No matter what the situation was, she was still safe. Maybe Sidney and Trevor were safe too. Then, Kirby heard a scraming "- Fuck!". Bad news is: that wasn't heaven and the killer was still alive. Good news is: Jill seemed to be in trouble, and Charlie wasn't saying anything. Oh God, maybe Sidney's defeating her. She had to go and help sidney. So Kirby started crawling again upstairs. She was able to put her torso out of the door, and still crawling she was getting inside of the house. But when Kirby looked at the kitchen, she saw the highest level of psycopathy - something that she hadn't seen not even in any of her favorite horror movies: Jill was purposely about to fall on the glass table. In that moment Kirby knew Jill's plan. She knew that Kate's jealousy influence over Jill was actually getting a purpose. Jill wanted the fame. She will kill everyone if she has to. Kirby couldn't hear or see Sidney, which meant one thing: she was dead. How could Kirby defeat Jill by herself? She couldn't. So she crawled back to the garage, and was actually able to stand up. Her blood appeared to be dry by now. She was shocked, she needed to run away from the house. What if Jill decided to come here? She had to go. Kirby stoop up with difficulty, and started limping towards outside of the house. She grabbed her cellphone on the ground but she couldn't risk being heard by Jill. She had to hide. She had to go to the woods. . She walked as far as she could into the woods. She walked until she lost sight of where she was or from which direction she had just came from. She was weak. She shouldn't have walked that much. So she fell on the ground, next to a tree in the woods. She was passing out but she had to call the police. As she grabbed her phone, and prepared to dial 911, she received a phone call. Not a bad one like the previous she got. This time it was her father checking in, worried about her. She answered the phone, with tears in her eyes. She was too weak to say something, she was already breathless and about to faint. "- Kirby?", she heard. "- D-dad...", that's all she could say. "- Kirby, are you okay?", this time her father's voice seemed distant: her hand was slowly falling down, and the cellphone was no longer in her ears. Kirby passed out in the woods, completely weak. Everyone assumed she died because Jill said so. But when Jill was proven to be the killer, everything changed. Where is Kirby? Her body isn't in the house. Maybe Jill had lied, but Sidney confirmed that Kirby was in the garage. So, what happened to her? Her father was summoned, he was desperate. He blamed Dewey. He blamed everyone. They try to locate the last signal coming from Kirby's phone the moment her father called her. But they could only narrow the location to the surroundings of their property. Kirby woke up the next morning. It was a miracle. She was alive, it was daylight. Her cellphone had died, though. And she was lost. She doesn't remember where she came from, and she's too scared to step out of the windows. What if Jill is out there still waiting for her? Maybe Jill did it and blamed it on Kirby as well. Everyone would believe Jill. No one would believe in the horror fan kid. So she started to wander around the woods, even though she was scared, she wanted to survive. A whole day had passed, and Kirby passed out in the woods again. This can't be happening again. She was lost, she was scared and appearently she was walking the opposite way of the police, because they couldn't find her. Dewey put some "Missing" signs, all over town. He was hopeful they would find her. Kirby wasn't that hopeful, but she had to try. Kirby woke up in the night, started walking and finally got out of the woods, right into a highway road. This was perfect, she could find help and run away. The first couple of cars didn't stop for her, she was angry now. All of this for nothing? But one truck-driver stopped for her. He helped her, and drove her until the next town. She said she didn't wanna go to the hospital. At this point she is sure that everyone was thinking she was the killer. She thought Jill had succeded. So she wanted to hide. She stayed in the man's family house. She ate, she rested and cleaned her wounds. She was feeling better. 3 more days passed, and in the fourth one, the driver came home at night, very upset. When Kirby saw his face, she was sure he was thinking she was the killer. "- You're the missing girl!", he said. That's it. He is going to hand her to the poilice. "- The police is searching for you everywhere. You have to go back.", he insisted. "- No, sir. I can explain...", she said as she started to cry. "- Appearently there's a lot of explanation you must do. They need your statement.", he said. She was confused "- What?", she almost whispered. "- You are the only kid at that school who survived that massacre, right?", he asked. Imposible. She wasn't a villain, she was a survivor. She didn't need to run away anymore. She didn't need to hide anymore. She couldn't believe. They got Jill. But how? Maybe she wounded herself real bad and died. Oh, God. The nightmare is over. She thanked the driver, as he gave her one last ride back to Woodsboro. It was time to face reality. It was time to speak up. It was time to live again. And she did.

I think Kirby is going to be a secret killer in the next one. They can easily say Charlie turned on her in Scream 4, and wanted to be with Jill instead of Kirby. Like was said in this video, they both love horror and serial killers. It was their idea and took in Jill to get Sidney. For Scream 6 she’ll a detective but also the secret killer. I think that would be insane and a crazy twist!! I’m here for it

See I wondered if Charlie didn't really stab her as deep as he made it look. He could have told kirby to play dead and perhaps even drugged the knife with a sedative so she wouldn't get involved. Then Kirby goes to her family's safe room and watches everything play out but passes out before she can help.

He only stabbed her because of how she finally noticed him, but at the end of the day that’s attempted murder and other charges he would’ve gotten if he had survived.

I loved this idea. I do remember right before Sidney gets jumped by Charlie, she’s about to go back downstairs to Kirby and she hears the door open, call for Kirby, and it sounds like someone crawling. It had to have been Kirby since both Charlie and Jill are already upstairs.
I kinda wanna see them open with 2011 and the remake massacre. Pull a Halloween Kills right down to the cinematography and anything else that may need to be done to give it that feel it’s the events of 2011. Hell, show us Kirby surviving then getting medical treatment for fun then we get the current day opening “kill” leading into her getting a call about murders or maybe she’s the one attacked but survives. Hell, have Dermot Mulroney’s character reminisce over his child’s attack even.

I still cant believe Kirby is back in 6! So sick! I remember just shy of 12 years ago now being so invested in the “is she alive or dead” content that was floating around back in 2011!
I hope we get a cool flashback sequence. Like...Final Destination 5 where we see a portion of the scene combined with the new actors. We could see Hayden dressed as Kirby in 2011 and some portion of that conversation or something close to that. I need a flashback to tie things together. Kirby's not just a survivor, we've been screaming (pun not intended) for 12 years to see her back so please do us justice and make her come back worth it.

I hope they have some flashbacks to Scream 4 in the new Scream 6, showing how Kirby survived and that she saw Jill and Sidney.
Do a camera blur and distorted voices or AI generated voices of them since she’s feeling a little woozy here so you can have Emma and Neve lookalikes be in the flashback, that would be acceptable in the case of her stabbed and bleeding out.

My only issue is unless she was in the basement and it took them a while to find her, there’s no explanation to the media reporters saying Jill was the sole survivor. Even with Sidney in there it didn’t make sense but with Kirby surviving or being treated for her wounds they would have announced it. Also had she not been found later, Jill would have known she survived before going to the hospital. So I think she locked herself in the room in the basement, Jill was rushed to the hospital, they found Kirby and began some onsite treatment and she alerted the police of only Charlie since she didn’t know about Jill yet but she hadn’t been admitted or taken in before Jill was found out. I think she found out about Jill after the Sidney finished her in the hospital

I think she would have found out from Sidney or the media afterwards. And if she was in the ICU why would Dewey have only told her that it’s touch and go with Sidney but she just might make it but not Kirby who was Jills best friend? At the time they didn’t know it was Jill meaning Dewey would have also had to not know Kirby was alive when all of this was going down.

You're right. We _never_ had or saw any *flashback* in every Scream film. They could make something different this time, at least by showing a flashback about some important details.
The closest would be is in Scream 3 when Sid remembers her conversation with Billy on the set of the Stab movie

It’s so sweet and sad how Kirby kept thinking of Olivia💔
Kirby flashed back to the night Charlie stabbed her. He commented about how it wasn't like in the movies but then he whispered something else.
"Pretend like you are dying," he whispered. He did stab her but nowhere near as deeply as it looked. Kirby realized thar Charlie was sparing her but he wasn't alone. Someone else wanted her dead.
She went back toward house through the garage but instead of going there she pressed a sequence on the alarm system.
Kirby's parents had installed a safe room years ago. She never thought she would have needed it and she never really took it seriously.
She watched as the secret door creaked open and snuck in. The room was large with cameras set up throughout the whole house.
She wanted to help but she didn't know who Charlie's partner was and she didn't want to be fooled again.
She gasped as she saw Jill kill Charlie. She couldn't help but feel a bit sad for him, he did spare her. But it was obvious that now that Jill had brought out his dark side. He killed Olivia and it was extremely brutal.
Charlie got what he deserved but Jill was three steps ahead of everyone. She watched as Jill stabbed Sydney and then she beat herself up pretty violently.
She needed to call the police but the land line was cut and there wasn't a separate line in the safe room. Her phone was dead as well. She didn't know what to do, but the world went black.
She had been going on adrenaline but now that she was somewhat safe she wondered if Charlie had drugged her to keep her from Interfering.
She passed out and by the time she woke up, her house was empty except for the police. She called over the intercom and explained where she was and how to find her.
She was sent to the hospital to clean her wound and she would ask for a tox screen as well.
But when she got there she was furious when every single news outlet was there, saying Jill was a hero.
There was no way she was going to let that happen.
"Jill Robert's is not a hero! She screamed as the cameras all moved in her direction. I saw what Happened and Jill was the mastermind behind all of thus.
Dewey came out right then, and was shocked to see a very much alive Kirby!
"Sydney overheard Charlie tell Jill you were dead!"
"I think he still had feelings for me, at least a little. He did stab me but he whispered for me to play dead. Then I hid in my safe room!
Judy Hicks was next outsode.. sound to me like Kirby is your hero here.

There was going to be a scene in Scream 4 where police and paramedics find Kirby and say "We've got a heartbeat" showing she was alive but I don't think they filmed it.
I like this idea! Very creative. I honestly feel like Kirby likely crawled back into the room she came out from to help Charlie. It’s likely she knew something was in there she could use to add pressure to her wound, slow the bleeding & she could hide. Kirby also still had her phone. When she ended the call with Ghostface (Jill) & went outside, she put the phone in her back pocket before untying Charlie. He walked off without grabbing it off her. I think she probably called the police from the downstairs room/basement.
I really hope 6 goes into detail so we know exactly what happened. Hopefully they will & it won’t be stupid also lol
You mentioned that Kirby beat ghostface in the horror movie game, and that she was the first character to ever do so. But my memory serves correct all she did was name off every horror movie she could think of like a George Carlin rant... I don't know if that counts as winning if you answer the question 487 times

I know y’all love Kirby, but her being alive is a retcon. In Scream 4 reporters and even Dewey himself confirmed that Jill and Sidney were the only survivors of the incident at Kirby’s house. I really hope they come up with a convincing way she survived because to keep it a secret makes no sense.
Rewatching 4 Dewey mentioned to Jill in the hospital “she’s still alive and fighting”. Maybe he was talking about Kirby and not Sydney seeing as Sydney had gotten out of her surgeries
It’s most likely that she hadn’t been found at the same time as Jill and Sydney. Since Kirby was outside in the backyard, and every other body was right in the kitchen.

I remembered in an interview that, Sir Wes Craven (I know he wasn’t knighted but he should have been) said he liked the character Kirby and wished she wasn’t killed off. I’m glad she’ll return for Scream 6.

Now all tho this seems like a good theory, I rewatched the movie and If you have earphones in during that scene, after Sidney calls for Kirby she doesn’t respond but u hear some sounds down there in the basement like she’s finding stuff to cover her wound. I wonder if maybe they will let her explain what goes down after that or do a flashback similar to what Halloween Kills did, cause I think we all deserve some sort of scene or reason how she survived. But it’s going to be interesting to see scream 6 and what they do for her character. My theory is she heard everything going on above and cause Jill was screaming super loud at Sidney and her reasoning for doing all this and so she stayed down there avoiding anything and just trying to save herself cause she was weak losing all that blood
I was going to comment this. Ever since that movie was released I always thought that was Kirby. I think Kirby made it back to the basement, but heard Charlie and Jill so stayed quiet as she was in no position to do anything due to the stab wounds.

That’s how I knew she was alive, but yea she definitely was in no condition to help Sidney she got stabbed twice in the gut and was bleeding out I doubt she would try to play hero and plus she was a horror movie fan she knows it wouldn’t be the smartest thing to do to help Sidney fight them off
The only thing I don't like about Kirby surviving is that it made the events at the end of scream 4 at the hospital totally irrelevant. Eventually, whether Jill knew it or not, Kirby was going to wake up Just like Sydney and tell the cops what she knew. So yeah that's a little weird

Isn't so convenient that Kirby is a police officer in New York and guess what, the killers are in New York too!!! lol. She would have access to all the crime scene things found in the shrine, she would have insight to feed her partners, and tara's dad would be easy to motivate considering Sam outed the fact he wasn't her dad and Billy was her real father, and Stu is the OG killer who never died. It makes sense to me. Tara could even be in on it.
Jill was hell bent on being the new Sydney and the lone survivor. That wouldn't work if Kirby was alive still though.

- Doesn't make sense for this at all given that she is super weak and could not climb a proper flight of stairs, and she wouldn't be able to see Jill and Sidney in the kitchen at all.

In the movie when jill comes down the stairs and says Trevor Is a liar bla bla bla Kirby looks at her like, "yeaaah right sketchy bitch" at that moment I realized along with the kirby character that jill was a ghostface. Thats why we love her, she super relatable.
I absolutely love your content and channel! I’ve been in love with Scream since 1996 and I also enjoyed the underrated Scream Tv show, but only the first two seasons. I’m still sad we never got any closure on that story. It would be cool to have Emma, Brooke, Audrey, and Noah brought into a scream film for a cameo. I thoroughly enjoyed your expansion of the movies bc I do feel that there is one issue with the films that always lets me down with each new release. I know these are slasher films and Sidney is the main character of the franchise and now the Carpenter sisters are transitioning into that role, but these stories are VERY self-referential and nods are always given to other horror films or past movies.
The area that the franchise has never fully taken advantage of is Gale’s legacy of death, loss, and destruction because she chose to capitalize on the murder of Maureen Prescott, but also the killing spree of Billy Loomis and Stu Macher. Gale admitted to embellishing the events that she barely survived herself, and sensationalized the gruesome deaths of Steven Orith, Casey Becker, Principal Himbry, her own cameraman Kenny, and Tatum Riley. In Scream 2, we see the complete spectacle the studio has made to promote a film that REALLY IS BASED ON TRUE EVENTS! Gale sensationalized the deaths of all of these people, and made the killers household names by selling the rights to her book, the Woodsboro Murders to Sunrise Studios, which birthed a lucrative film franchise on the tragic deaths of countless innocent people, including minors. Fans of the Stab films only know Casey Becker as the “character” and not the person who was brutally murdered while on the phone with her parents. The fans also think of Heather Graham when they hear the name Casey Becker, which is similar for the other dead people that were replaced by actors in the film about the loss of their lives.
The aftermath of these movies has led to decades of senseless murder, but the issue is never really explored in the Scream movies themselves. No one EVER mentions poor Steven Orith, who was the real first person to be murdered by his girlfriend’s psychotic ex boyfriend. Sidney and Dewey have NEVER ONCE spoken about Tatum, who was Sidney’s loyal friend that was gruesomely killed by Sidney’s boyfriend moments before Sidney slept with him. Dewey lost and failed to protect his little sister! Why is this a conversation that we never saw once during screams 2-5? With Dewey’s death, the Riley’s connection to Sidney has cost that family the legacy and continuation of their family line. This is never spoken about, just as the murders of Sheriff Judy Hicks and her teenage son, Wes, was simply glossed over instead of recognizing that the entire Hicks family is now dead, especially when these characters grew up together! The character most wasted in the franchise to provide insight into the origins of all of the death and mayhem, Maureen Prescott herself, her rape, her promiscuous behavior, and rejection of her own son, was Kate Roberts. Kate was Maureen’s sister and could have known so much about her sister that Sidney or her father never knew. But Kate and Sidney NEVER share a single meaningful conversation about their family and her mother in Scream 4.
That’s why I was so glad to hear your expansion and listen to Kirby reflect on the brutal murder of their childhood friend Olivia. Olivia has one of the most brutal murders in the entire franchise, but NONE of her friends seem very bereaved by her loss or having watched Olivia fight for her life until she’s being flung lifelessly out of her window. We’ve seen Sidney think about Billy and Derek, but that’s about it! Sidney’s poor choices cost Hallie and Derek their lives. In scream 6, Kirby never mentions how it felt to know your best friend plotted to kill you like you were nothing more than a housefly. Chad or Mindy had no regrets for how terribly they were to Liv before she was shot in the head. Between the Stab franchise and Gale’s legacy of turning tragedy into movies and money, as well as turning tragic murder victims into “characters” in horror films, Scream has a unique angle that should resolve when the story finally comes to an end.
The Scream franchise needs to end with the story and narrative being given back to the many victims who have been silenced by Ghostface killer over the past two decades and had their lives, names, and stories stolen from them by their killer and the Stab franchise. The stab movies should stop and Gale should do what she said she would do in Scream 5, which is write about the victims and who they really were, and what they could have become if not for a set of horror films that made the killer’s household names, when they should forever remain in obscurity. And the mask and costume should be discontinued and no longer available to be purchased every Halloween by fans that have no idea how much they are mocking the memory of every single person that had their lives cut short by some psycho or fanboy that wanted to be famous, or simply take a life “just cause”. Scream as a franchise has to face its sinister counterpart and self-created monster that is the Stab Franchise, for the story to finally be over and for those who survive, to finally find their happily ever after.

You should’ve helped direct scream 6. I would’ve been dope hearing Kirby explain her friendship with Jill for a few seconds. Scream 6 was too rushed and didn’t have enough love put into it

Wow, this was impressive and creatively done! I just thought if Kirby survived, Charlie did maybe intentionally stabbed her once but didn't expected her to live since it was deep. Kirby run as fast as she could away from the house and called for help. If the police discovered that she was alive back then, they would mention it and have a scene at the hospital since Sidney, Gale and Kirby had only one stab wound each. It was just later on discovered that she was alive and also a victim.
I just watched 4. I feel kirby started questioning at her house when she was looking for everyone and jill came downstairs saying she found her phone and that trevor never went upstairs to find her.
Kirby would have only found out at the very end of the movie or after the events of the fourth film. I imagine she was unconscious after being stabbed twice by Charlie.
I wouldn't say that Kirby had apparently beaten Ghostface at the trivia game. She didn't even wait for the end of the final question, then she blurted out an endless stream of potential answers, of which only the first answer would count to Ghostface anyway. That's actually my least favorite scene in the movie, because I don't believe Kirby would react that way. It never felt right.

Good, but I think Kirby got back inside much quicker, probably from an adrenaline rush. Right before Charlie grabs Sidney, without the costume on, Sidney's at the top of the basement stairs. There's a small squeak/creak sound, and Sidney calls out "Kirby?" right before she's grabbed. I think that was the sound of a door hinge as Kirby crawled back inside. Maybe then she passed out for a moment and the rest could've gone as said in the video.

What if Kirby was actually one of the killers with Charlie or became a killer later in the movie, without knowing that Charlie was working with Jill? That way she can be the killer in Scream 6.

Only Sidney wasn't dead. She survived her attack and killed Jill at the hospital. Sidney is a survivor and can not easily be killed. She's tough. This scene from Scream 4 I don't like, but it proves why Sidney is my favorite final girl and why Jill called her Michael Myers. She's the angel of death. If Ghostface can't kill Sidney with two stabs, then how could Michael Myers kill her with one? He wouldn't. Sidney is too tough and who be a perfect match for Michael Myers, more so than Laurie Strode.

Kirby is not a main character in part 6. It's already been revealed that she will have a very limited screen time. so basically she's just going to be another victim. she probably won't be the opening kill since they're going to have to have her appear and explain how she survived and what happened to her after her attack. but Kirby will only be appearing for a few scenes.
Loved this theory. Made me inspired to write one as well. So here it goes, hope you read it - but it won't be full of details as yours.
After Kirby was stabbed by the guy she was secretly in love with, she was left to die. Luckily for her, Charlie - the psychopath who had just attacked her - didn't wait to confirm her demise. She fell on ground, and in that very instance when her body hit the ground, it was actually a relief: for one little second the pain caused by her body hitting the ground, took over the pain from her wounded stomach. But it was just for one second. The next one would be as painful as she never thought it could be. Is this how it is in the movies? Is this what the victims of Stab went through? And then it hit her: she was going to be just another victim in the next Stab movie... she was going to die.
Although she knew her fate was certain, she couldn't give up. They have to know that Charlie is the killer! So with the thought of justice and protection over her friends, she had to fight. She was agonyzing on the floor, but something had to be made. She tried to stand up on her feet, but she couldn't. She was pressuring her wounds and couldn't stand without using her arms to support her body. She was bleeding real bad. So for one moment, she gave up. She was actually getting used to the pain, she had made her mind. It was her end.
With tears rolling down to her ears, and observing the dark sky, she started reflecting. As she let herself give up, she remember all of the good moments she had in her life. The times she spent with her family, with Olivia, maybe she would meet Olivia on the other side and hug her one last time. Then she started remembering the fun she had with Jill. Wait, Jill!!! Jill is still in the house, and since she saw Robbie die, and Ghostface called her when Charlie was mouth taped, it has to be Trevor!
She couldn't give up. She has to save them. If she's going to die, let it be with dignity. She took off her jacket, and tied it against her wounds, pressuring them. She accepted the fact that she couldn't stand up, so she crawled. She crawled backwards, she couldn't let the blood drop faster. She was crawling towards the garage, where she previously was with Sidney, before she got the phone call. She was already weak. Crawling would only make it worse. She stopped crawling, she was giving up once again. Little did she know that Sidney had heard a noise coming from there. If only she'd crawled a little bit more, Sidney could've helped her.
Suddenly, the silence was ruined by a loud noise coming from upstairs the garage. Someone was fighting Ghostaface. They need her help. So she started crawling again, only this time Sidney was not waiting for her upstairs, she was being attacked. Kirby could hear them, but she didn't have the strenght to scream. Besides, she can't make anything stupid. She has to catch them off-guard. She was already injured. So she slightly crawled towards the stairs. She was crawling in pain and agony, purely weak. But she couldn't let Trevor and Charlie win. And then she heard: "- Jill?", "- Hello Sidney. Surprised?"
Kirby was shocked. It was Jill. No... it can't be!! Maybe Trevor is forcing her, maybe Jill was pretending to be on Trevor's and Charlie's side so she could defeat them off-guard. But as she continued to hear, she soon realized that Jill was actually the mastermind. Kirby was scared, weak, but so far procted. No one would come downstairs in the garage, right? She could lay there a little bit on those stairs. The shock of finding out that her best friend was the killer actually helped her not pay too much attention into the pain coming from her guts. But that wasn't actually the case. She was getting numb, as if she was about to pass out. And she did.
Kirby opened her eyes, and her vision was quite blurry. And for a moment she wasn't quite sure if she had died or if she was still alive. Maybe she died. She had to be dead. That jacket wasn't holding back enough blood. Maybe now she can see Olivia again. She was relieved. She could almost smile in that moment, in fact she was about to. No matter what the situation was, she was still safe. Maybe Sidney and Trevor were safe too.
Then, Kirby heard a scraming "- Fuck!". Bad news is: that wasn't heaven and the killer was still alive. Good news is: Jill seemed to be in trouble, and Charlie wasn't saying anything. Oh God, maybe Sidney's defeating her. She had to go and help sidney. So Kirby started crawling again upstairs. She was able to put her torso out of the door, and still crawling she was getting inside of the house. But when Kirby looked at the kitchen, she saw the highest level of psycopathy - something that she hadn't seen not even in any of her favorite horror movies: Jill was purposely about to fall on the glass table. In that moment Kirby knew Jill's plan. She knew that Kate's jealousy influence over Jill was actually getting a purpose. Jill wanted the fame. She will kill everyone if she has to.
Kirby couldn't hear or see Sidney, which meant one thing: she was dead. How could Kirby defeat Jill by herself? She couldn't. So she crawled back to the garage, and was actually able to stand up. Her blood appeared to be dry by now. She was shocked, she needed to run away from the house. What if Jill decided to come here? She had to go.
Kirby stoop up with difficulty, and started limping towards outside of the house. She grabbed her cellphone on the ground but she couldn't risk being heard by Jill. She had to hide. She had to go to the woods. .
She walked as far as she could into the woods. She walked until she lost sight of where she was or from which direction she had just came from. She was weak. She shouldn't have walked that much. So she fell on the ground, next to a tree in the woods. She was passing out but she had to call the police. As she grabbed her phone, and prepared to dial 911, she received a phone call. Not a bad one like the previous she got. This time it was her father checking in, worried about her. She answered the phone, with tears in her eyes. She was too weak to say something, she was already breathless and about to faint. "- Kirby?", she heard. "- D-dad...", that's all she could say. "- Kirby, are you okay?", this time her father's voice seemed distant: her hand was slowly falling down, and the cellphone was no longer in her ears.
Kirby passed out in the woods, completely weak. Everyone assumed she died because Jill said so. But when Jill was proven to be the killer, everything changed. Where is Kirby? Her body isn't in the house. Maybe Jill had lied, but Sidney confirmed that Kirby was in the garage. So, what happened to her? Her father was summoned, he was desperate. He blamed Dewey. He blamed everyone. They try to locate the last signal coming from Kirby's phone the moment her father called her. But they could only narrow the location to the surroundings of their property.
Kirby woke up the next morning. It was a miracle. She was alive, it was daylight. Her cellphone had died, though. And she was lost. She doesn't remember where she came from, and she's too scared to step out of the windows. What if Jill is out there still waiting for her? Maybe Jill did it and blamed it on Kirby as well. Everyone would believe Jill. No one would believe in the horror fan kid. So she started to wander around the woods, even though she was scared, she wanted to survive.
A whole day had passed, and Kirby passed out in the woods again. This can't be happening again. She was lost, she was scared and appearently she was walking the opposite way of the police, because they couldn't find her.
Dewey put some "Missing" signs, all over town. He was hopeful they would find her. Kirby wasn't that hopeful, but she had to try.
Kirby woke up in the night, started walking and finally got out of the woods, right into a highway road. This was perfect, she could find help and run away. The first couple of cars didn't stop for her, she was angry now. All of this for nothing? But one truck-driver stopped for her. He helped her, and drove her until the next town. She said she didn't wanna go to the hospital. At this point she is sure that everyone was thinking she was the killer. She thought Jill had succeded. So she wanted to hide. She stayed in the man's family house. She ate, she rested and cleaned her wounds. She was feeling better.
3 more days passed, and in the fourth one, the driver came home at night, very upset. When Kirby saw his face, she was sure he was thinking she was the killer. "- You're the missing girl!", he said. That's it. He is going to hand her to the poilice. "- The police is searching for you everywhere. You have to go back.", he insisted. "- No, sir. I can explain...", she said as she started to cry. "- Appearently there's a lot of explanation you must do. They need your statement.", he said. She was confused "- What?", she almost whispered. "- You are the only kid at that school who survived that massacre, right?", he asked. Imposible. She wasn't a villain, she was a survivor. She didn't need to run away anymore. She didn't need to hide anymore. She couldn't believe. They got Jill. But how? Maybe she wounded herself real bad and died. Oh, God. The nightmare is over.
She thanked the driver, as he gave her one last ride back to Woodsboro. It was time to face reality. It was time to speak up. It was time to live again. And she did.

I think Kirby is going to be a secret killer in the next one. They can easily say Charlie turned on her in Scream 4, and wanted to be with Jill instead of Kirby. Like was said in this video, they both love horror and serial killers. It was their idea and took in Jill to get Sidney. For Scream 6 she’ll a detective but also the secret killer. I think that would be insane and a crazy twist!! I’m here for it
