- Delicious potatoes recipe with simple ingredients. This potato is tastier than meat!😋. ASMR cooking. If you have 2 potatoes chickpeas at home, make this easy and delicious potato dish! It’s incredibly delicious, easy and quick recipe. Why I have never cooked potatoes like this before? It’s so tasty that my family and kids ask me to make it almost every day! The whole family will love this delicious dish. Simple and easy recipe everyone can make at home. Happy cooking and wishing you a wonderful day! 😊🤗 💕

🥣 Ingredients :
2 medium size potatoes
1/4tsp salt
1/2tsp Italian herbs
🥣 topping ingredients:
1 tbsp tomato sauce
dairy free mozzarella
mushrooms for topping (I used about 4-6 closed cut mushrooms )
8-10 cherry tomatoes
60g | 1/4 cup chickpea
olive oil
chilly flakes
parsley
🧑🍳Cooking tips:
❗For the topping you can use the vegetables you like, for example bell pepper, spinach, cannellini beans etc. Please also feel free to add your favourite spices and herbs 😊
🥣Method:
Peel and grate 2 medium size potatoes.
Place grated potatoes in a mesh bag or sieve.
Squeeze potatoes over a bowl to remove excess water.
Transfer potato mixture into a mixing bowl.
Season with 1/4tsp of salt and 1/2tsp Italian herbs.
Combine well together.
Transfer potatoes mixture into a greased frying pan and spread out into a circle.
Fry on a low heat covered with a lid for about 7 minutes or until the bottom is crispy brown.
When cooked on one side, flip it gently to other side.
Spread 1tbsp tomato sauce.
Add grated plant-based dairy free mozzarella cheese.
Cut 6 mushrooms and 8 cherry tomatoes for the topping.
Add 60g | 1/4 cup chickpea.
Season with Italian herbs.
Top up with dairy free mozzarella cheese.
Cover with a lid and fry until cheese melted.
Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and chilli flakes (optional).
Enjoy! 💕

I love chillies forms but as, with lots of things few weeks, ago it went to my list of causing anaphylaxis add to that cheyenne pepper, Paprika you get picture.
However wipe my tears, if frustration and omitt chillies flakes.

Did you put oil in the pan for frying the potatoes? How high is the heat?

How do you prevent the grated potatoes from oxidizing? Mine always turn an unappealing color if I don’t get them cooked instantly after cutting or grating them. I know it doesn’t change the taste, texture, or nutritional content, but it doesn’t look nice. I do love a good potato dish, as I consider any dish made with them a comfort food.

Hello Ann! Nice to have you back! I know two ways to prevent the grated potatoes from oxidising :
1. Place it in cold water until it needs to be cooked.
2. Grate the onion into the grated potato and mix it all together - here you will get an onion in your potatoes so it's up to your taste and the dish you are making with the grated potato.
I would love to have a second bengal for Lancy... so far I could not find one who needs rescuing but I keep on looking.
