Honey is the only thing in the "glaze" (it's not a marinade!) that is particularly hi-carb.. you could just leave it out. The other ingredients are very low-carb, and unless you're going to eat the whole "roulade" yourself you should be ok!

That is a good option also, personally I prefer Chopped Dill but these herbal options makes it more personal which I find is what cooking is all about, adding a little something personal to any them. God bless.

Chopped Dill is infinitely better tasting and not bitter like parsley, this is a really tasty recipe with this change. most Eastern Europeans use dill as the preferred herb in meats, soups, potato salads and so many other recipes, its unique flavor can't be beat it really brings out the flavor. But I use a large flank steak pounded out to about the same size and fill it with long slices of zucchini, celery, mushrooms, onions and ricotta cheese. Then roll it up and tie it with butchers twine and brown in in a large pan then transfer it to a baking dish and cover the top with a tomato sauce mix and bake to desired doneness and just before finished top with shredded cheese. It’s a very common cheese here in Europe. However, it is rather sweet so it is not for those who like more savory cheeses. If you don’t like it, I imagine you can use a more natural tasting cheese like Edam or something a little more savory like young cheddar.

Have never heard of this cheese.
It’s a very common cheese here in Europe. However, it is rather sweet so it is not for those who like more savory cheeses. If you don’t like it, I imagine you can use a more natural tasting cheese like Edam or something a little more savory like young cheddar.

Emmentaler is a hard, nutty-tasting Swiss-style cheese. Delicious, and would stand up well to the other ingredients in this great dish. Used to work in a place that had a great cheese counter. Mmmmmm!
