When I saw the first video I was thinking it would come a long way if the bad floors were replaced. Et voila! Here it is! I love your content, guys. And I agree some people are on their high horse but a lot of people have far worse housing than this and would benefit greatly with the opportunity to fix this up and have a good life in it.
Man I love that comment. don't get too high up on your horse. Your right tons of people have it so bad they would love to just have a home. You could fix it as you go. But you got kids and living in a camper or a tent yea this is a castle.
WOW what a difference. I agree things can be fixed. IF you have the money and the time. Kitchen looks a lot better but I noticed in the video that they just placed the new lower cab. over the whole in the floor. I would have put new flooring down first and then the cab. Upper cab should have gone bye bye also but like you said in the video, people living in tents after the flooding would take this and clean it up and make it there own. I personally would buy it now. It would make a great rental. Thanks for showing it again. I miss those upper curtains over the garden tube. I have the garden tube in mine but no curtains. I like to see it again once they put flooring down.
Thank you for doing this, I love it! (Meaning, how they made it livable!) Getting to see the difference between it just getting there to where it is "for sale".
Yep, this takes me back a spell. That was our big plan. Bought a 14 X 60 singlewide, as "a place to live while we built our house. The MH itself wasn't in bad shape, just older with MDF floors. And then before we could get started on the house, had to adopt 2 special needs grandkids. The focus shifted to making it livable for 2 more people, so it was gut and redo the 2nd bedroom, then gut and redo the bathroom, and then the kitchen, and by the time we got to that point, we got another option. Older mobile homes can be fixed, but it's work (as you know). And newer mobile homes that have been rode hard and put up wet can be hard work as well. Don't envy you the work. Don't suppose you boys got any family up that way named Musk, do ya? We can't place them, but thought maybe you might know them. I thought I might have heard of some Musks up in Virginia, but wasn't sure. Still trying to figure out if their Americans, or who they are. 😎
Good morning Donnie and Ronnie! Here for another tour! Have a good day yall! That’s so sad hearing about the people in the tents! Hope they find housing! 🙏🏻
Some of us hard working, blood sweating, chow loving usa people greatly enjoy mobile homes. vintage is more whimsical but just as good and typically better especially if it had any maintenance and a dry climate. Water Wins! Thank you. We be Bottom Feeders.
Nice job on the intro! I remember commenting that this one was a bonfire candidate. I wish they would have replaced the floor under the tubs and showers but that would have been too much work I guess. From the ouside this one didn't look too bad, it was the inside. I can't imagine anyone living there, but they did.
Hey Ronnie and Donnie I’m glad you went back to this one. How much did you say they wanted for this one? I think I would make the cabinets go all the way to that wall remove the stove and put it on the other side of that kitchen and put cabinets on that wall with the pantry cabinet. Maybe try to fit the hot water heater in that utility room and get stackable washer and dryer
@ The land you said you had to put a double on it. I think this one is a good mobile home for someone to live in at 50k + set up. The kitchen you can arrange the way you want and the bathrooms too
@@nancyison7481 it would be a good one for somebody. I think it’s still a little too pricey for me or you gonna be 60,000 installed are you gonna put another 20 in it that close I would probably buy a new one cause for 115 and they will set it up if it’s new.
This was a cool video with all the flash backs to the first time in that mobile home! I hope they sell it at a real low price to someone who needs a home who was affected by the Hurricane! Or at least someone homeless, and in dyer need of a roof over their heads!
Yeah, I would probably have thrown out the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. That's just nitpicking though, overall it looks a lot better. Maybe they left the cabinets in there, just to give an idea of how the layout could be.
What is sad is that the Amish built over 100 tiny homes for the disaster victims of North Carolina, but government officials got nit picky about their regulations and kept the tiny homes from being used. The beaurocrats would rather see people in tents shivering from the cold.
Paint goes a long way! I’m sure that nasty old plywood is holding a lot of odors. Better to replace it all, but I suppose next best thing is put Kilz on all that and call it a day. Fine for a rental or affordable housing I suppose.
I will never understand people buying a brand new home just to destroy it later. Does anyone not take pride in their homes anymore? My ex sister-in-law who came from a poor childhood, finally bought her dream home.Big beautiful home and she destroyed it within 4 yrs by smoking excessively inside the house and letting her dogs and cats urinate and 💩all over inside the house.Makes no sense. I would have cherished that house and kept it nice. It doesn’t take a lot of money to touch up paint, vacuum or sweep/ mop a floor periodically.
Why do people not take care of their homes 😞. I just don't understand...but😊 I know y'all will make it nice again. Growing up we live in a old 3 room house no running water 🌊. Hand Pump outside to get 🌊 Water. One big bedroom with 2 double beds in it. And living room was big big and had a another bed in it. Kitchen was long with electric stove and refrigerator. Little counter ..table / 4 chairs. No bathroom. Had back porch and front porch with 2 doors
Age, money, mental health. I’m capable of fixing basic plumbing issues myself in my home just because i happened to have been working at a place where I learned a lot about plumbing. But if you don’t know anything, you have a leak and it just leaks forever because you can’t afford a plumber and you need your water so they won’t just shut off the main. For example my moms water heater just flooded her garage, she lives alone but managed to get the water shut off, but if she didn’t have the $1000 or so to drop on a new water heater and install well. She’d be screwed. So when you have no money, no one to help, and no knowledge on certain trades, your house will fall apart. Even faster if it’s a mobile home. So not everyone is just messy and lazy.
I thought this place was beyond repair, since you could see the outside from the inside, and not through the windows or doors. 8:30, I think it’s the same sink and taps.
OK, gotta admit, just trying to mess with you boys a little bit. But, to the point, everything can be fixed, just how much do you want to spend. Like Donnie said.
@@RosemaryBlantonCrosslin I think they’re trying to just to get it to where somebody can see the vision or somebody else takes over and finishes it out so they can still keep it affordable
Theyre in Darlington SC by the Darlington Speedway people and theyre not affiliated in any shape or form yadda yadda..ill betcha Joeys mouse Henry is in there somewhere too and if you don't know who Henry is..go back and watch Joe and Ronnie's video of them restoring a Centipede Arcade game one time 😉

I've had 5 mobile homes in 30.years all came with propane cook stove. My double wide i now own is equipped for electric.or gas, furnace, dryer, hot water tank and cook stove.. as well as fireplace is designed for wood or gas..

loved the sinks in the bathroom, has donny done a sale from his mega collections of sinks in the barn he has

Wow in soprprized that looks that good after seeing what it looked like before.
Yep
Many of these are rentals & tenants dont care! As the landlords give up on repairs & just sit back & collect the rent🤔
Yep
I remember This having a real bad roof, Did they tear it off and put a new one, Or just fix were needed.
Do not remember I tore too many
That house still needs to be totally gutted out and redone and new siding and roofing
Thanks.
Thank you
Not perfect, but one heck of a lot better than it was! Have a good weekend guys!

quick & cheap makeover? they will work 10hr days without complaint, learning Spanish didn't hurt me any (good-upload)

These are probably all repos. When people lose property to foreclose or repo they always destroy it first!🙄🤷♂️. That includes cars as well.
Very possible
Had 3 mobile homes and all had gas stoves
I’ve never seen one with gas stove other than this one
It was the same sink,

Can you post sum more mobile home videos
