In this video, we cover the Any% speedrun of Bloodborne, with the stipulations that the run is done on the current patch and that no clipping is performed by use of enemy grabs. This run is performed by Pinkman, who sets a blistering pace through Yharnam utilizing skips, farming Blood Echoes and Insight, and just absolutely demolishing bosses. Included in this run (which is completed in under 30 minutes) is a glitch that allows you to duplicate items.

Ive completed all 3 Dark Souls, Demons Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro. Dogs are still the most horrifying fucking enemy in the whole saga to me lol

It's always interesting when I find a speed run mechanic I know about from casual play. I learned about the sprint charge thing while rolling just naturally. That feels pretty cool! (I learned it while running back to boss rooms after dying a lot, while trying to avoid monster attacks as I ran past haha)

There's a few reasons for killing doll beyond the one second time save.
1. You may need to do it more than once stacking time saves.
2. Mashing x to skip dialogue may end up causing gestures to occur, which in turn prevents skipping further dialogue until the gesture finishes.
3. It's fun! :)

I havent finished the vid yet but I want to thank you so much for covering a speedrun and explain what's going on so that someone like me who has a platinum in this game knows what the speed runner is thinking as he's going through the motion. Learned a lot from this vid and would love if there's an update to this vid whenever new speedrun strats are discovered. I dont even play DS games but I'll check out your vid on those speed runs if they're the same quality as this vid. Good job!
I've platinum'd this game and didn't even know what Blue Elixir did. I thought it had something to do with Arcane users, which I wasn't. That would have helped me make the run towards the Wet Nurse easier for sure. Those pigs were a pain in the ass, not to mention I was constantly getting invaded there.

Just started playing this game again last night, what a coincidence
there is a weird thing that can be replicated with all levers, doors and switch's too. really hard to pull off but it effectively cancels the full animation letting you move the door or lever and still move, similar to item pickup when falling off a ledge. I wonder if it will be incorporated into future Speedruns
