Wow! I could not believe how fast and easy they were to make!! What a wonderful idea for something fast to make after work when everyone is hungry! I think I might even try them on the grill so as not to heat up the house! Thanks!!
Southeast Texas? No wonder your voice sounds so comforting. Sounds like home. Been all over the world but Nederland is home to me. NHS 74. I enjoy the video's and watch them all. Even the ones I know I will never use but I still enjoy them. I think I will make my Sweetheart shrimp Tacos very soon. She is Chinese and has fallen in love with Texmex food. Thanks for all the videos and the recipes
Now that's funny. You were one of the first people I ever subscribed to. Live in the ancestral mansion I grew up in over in Beauxart Gardens behind the airport .Many good days spent in the park fishing and flirting. Come back for the Mid county Madness. Go Indians, except when we are playing them. You understand!
Looks so yummy....and I am happy, and glad to see you back.I sure missed you....as you are such a wonderful teacher. And I know many others feel the same way....Thank you for every thing you do.
Funny, my niece just introduced us to shrimp tacos while visiting us. They are yummy, our new fav! We grilled the shrimp & used a corn & flour tortilla (best of both worlds!) I'll be using this method in Winter.
living in Portland Maine I always have shrimp and tomorrow I need to wait for the st. George's tuna and pasta salad to sit until Sunday. I love anything from the sea and I love tacos so this should be a yummy supper for me. I have a tip for you. Put the blackening seasoning on once they hit the pan and don't stir them for a minute or two. :-)
Not a great idea. I wanted the dry spices to rehydrate slightly on the wet shrimp instead of dry spices scorching on contact with the screaming hot pan.
It was a recipe sent to her mother for a church salad supper. It is one of the best things I have ever tasted especially for summer as it is cold. It is just the perfect mix of things with tuna that make it absolutely delicious! :-) where are you in Maine what area?
USChanin there is a video recipe for this salad very near the video for homemade French dressing. I used Catalina dressing because I had it and needed to use it and it worked wonderfully.
those shrimp looked amazing although I think making the sauce more of a gravy to add to the taco would also be good..Being from n.e. Florida anything can be a taco or burrito filling.. my daughter always uses the large flour tortillas even for "Taco's".. BBQ pulled pork with BBQ beans, turkey, gator, venison, dolphin(dorito) even philly style cheese steak Taco's

So whoever created the recipe didn't want them truly blackened like blackened fish is but with the same flavor?

Hello: Shrimp is good anyway you fix it.
I'm with you! Love 'em.
Girl, I'll be right over. Seriously.
flour for me.
You know it! These were amazing.
wouldn't it be easier to put the shrimp back in the skillet stir then take it back out
Yes, but I didn't really want to put any more heat on the shrimp.
Whycome you not fry the corn taco shell? And you claim to be a Texas girl?
Tacos are ALWAYS in fried corn tortillas.
