Here's how i did Blood Infusion completely solo. I didn't multiboxed multiple accounts, everything was done on my main account.
I apologize for the shitty editing, i never touched Adobe Premiere before doing this. Also i really wasn't planing on releasing this video, that footage was pretty spontaneous and i was mostly experimenting (but it worked out in the end).
In case there's someone still watching this, is the new expansion good?

Took a few tries because one of the alts would get MC'd when they did not disconnect between toon switching. But, ultimately, it did work on the 4th try. So, confirmed to still be a viable strat as of Mar 16, 2020
I'm posting here in hopes it helps someone else: if your alts are in different instances as your main, try exiting the raid with everyone, converting into a raid group and going back inside.
This method still works as of Jan. 15, 2024, AND I was able to get it done with just 2 alts!! Thanks so much for this awesome video!
If all of your characters suddenly die when you try to log in for the final bite, try bringing in a third alt. Strip all your alts of their gear so if they get mind controlled, they don't cause any problems. Do Main --> Alt1 --> Main --> Alt2 --> Main --> Alt 3 --> Main and you should be able to get the three bites using three different characters. Also make sure to do some damage to the boss before you switch around as the aggro needs to stay on your main as this should prevent them from getting mind controlled.
Overall the method worked with a tweak and thank you for the video!

Notes to others doing this:
1) it may take more than one try to do it successfully (the previous alt is still there when you log onto the new one; your "main" may get mind controlled and kill the alt; etc.) but keep at it.
2) unlike the other 2 "infusions" this one does not give you a 6 minute buff to track. You have to get 4 stacks of "Gushing Wounds": you get 1st at the start from the boss, 2nd by biting Alt01, 3rd by biting Alt02 and when you bite Alt01 again you get the 4th stack that immediately disappears and is *not* replaced by anything else. So, keep an eye on the "Gushing Wounds" debuff and make sure it goes 1-2-3-4-gone and then kill the boss.
Setting this up and executing it was actually fun.

12/2020 (version 9.0.2) : I had some issues to do it because my first alt wasn't disconnecting
and was getting mc during the fight but i managed to do it with three alt + my main :
- Engage the boss with your main
- Connect your first alt and get the debuff
- Connect your main, bite your first alt and KICK HIM OUT OF THE GROUP
- Connect your second alt and get the debuff
- Connect your main, bite your second alt and KICK HIM OUT OF THE GROUP
- Connect your third alt
- Connect your main , bite your third alt and KICK HIM OUT OF THE GROUP
- Kill the boss and tadaaaam ! Your quest is completed
I found after a few fails (boss despawned) that instead of kicking the alt from the group, make them leave, then switch to the main and bite them.
Doing it that way got the quest done for me
Completed it yesterday 5.11.2020 in SL prepatch, used my 50 paly, 50 druid and 40 priest. Thing is it cant be done for me with only 2 alts as the first bitten alt becomes mced, due to not bitting anyone. I have an ssd comp, graphics turned to 1 despite my rtx 2070 super, addons disabled, took me seconds to relog and still. What i did was use my main and 2 alts, and invited a random 4th person. Bit both alts, then the random person and its worked like a charm. Even had to wait 1 min for each bite as I didnt need to relog as fast due to tje 3th bite going on a random player. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for your help. Just did this but with 3 alts and it worked perfectly first try. As a tip, make sure your main and all alts have selected 25-man heroic before entering the raid. I made this mistake and had to run all my alts back outside, reset the mode, and then run all the way back in.
February 12, 2019 - confirmed this still works... however I required 3 alts to make it happen (1 bite per alt). I was having an issue with my first lowbie (level 86) alt dying after the first alt-f4, so I started using an immunity (ice block) just before relogging on my main and it worked. Thanks a bunch for the guide!!
I was able to do this on 1/10/19. I wasn't able to get it to work with 2 alts, but I was with 3 alts. I 4-manned it with myself, what a concept! Thank you~

ROFL this actually fucking worked, first try for me. 25hc, stripped 2 of my 390 alts, turned off ALL my addons for 2 sec loading times and just did exactly as you did... fuck yes dude

For those who say it doesn't work or cant get it to work u just need to be quick. I even had to change servers for an alt which killed some time but i also have WoW on a SSD so my load times are super fast. Someone in these comments said disable addons to load faster, not sure how much of a diffrence it made but I did it anyways, so try and see if that helps
Also if it helps to have it written once you have them all there do this
Start fight on shadowmourne owner/main>alt1>main>bite alt1>alt2>main>bite alt 2>alt 1>main>bite alt1>kill boss
P.s if you still find urself logging back to alts not at the boss either ur not fast enough or u messed up before pull. Think of the alts having a timer the moment they go offline, so u might want to reset all the timers of all 3 characters before the fight but while sitting in the room.
I tried this 4 times and every time I went back to my main the first time I was dead. Then once I released I DC'd.

When I log to Alt 2, the first one is still there and is going to get mind controlled, so the rest of the fight won´t work like in the guide - any idea why my Alts take longer to go "offline" so the debuff won´t run out?

Still works in Dragonflight. I had to bring in a 4th character to bite last, and I spaced everyone out on each of the 4 arrows on the circle on the floor. Thanks for your help!
I just did it in great succession. I'm really happy that you went above and beyond accomplishing this because I was not excited for this part at all. I thank you kind person :)
Make sure you are doing this on heroic. If you do this on normal your alts will not zone into the same lockout of the instance making this method impossible. So if you are having the issue that you need to clear trash again on the alts you bring in this is the fix to it. You will have to wait for next week to switch to heroic if you want to solo it.

Just did it on a Warrior and a Paladin. Which is nice, means I can progress them roughly at the same time, claim the rewards on one of them, sell them on the other.

To reduce login time, disable all addons. You don't need them for this.

Thank you so much for this HiLittle :D! I was totally able to do this as a ret pally (normally prot, changed spec as per advice) on my first attempt. I stripped my monk and demon hunter for mobility and to weaken them and the rest was a snap. I've had this quest since Wrath and I'm over the moon to finally see it done!

Thank you so much! This works as of 1/10/2019. I turned all my graphics on 1 and used 2 alts to complete this. Also, I found playing in window mode and clicking the Play button on battlenet gave me more time. I wish you all the best of luck!
Took a few tries and was messy, but i managed to do this solo with my dk (main) and 3 alts (warrior, druid, shaman for self rez for extra chance), thanks so much for posting this cheese strat, still works as of 5/12/20 =D

doesnt work for me for some reason when I log alt there is no main logged and boss not engaged but when I log back in main I am there in combat while boss is hitting me
@@slejdo1 At first I had the same issue. I had to zone out of the instance on my main, then zone back in, before I could see my main and alts in the same room. Before pulling the boss, Alt+F4 on your main and hop on your alt. If they are in the same instance, you will still see your main the same room. If not, zone out of the instance and back in on your main.

Confirmed working as of 07/07/2020. Took a couple tries, finally brought in a 3rd alt and it was cake after that. Thanks for posting this, saved me a lot of hassle. For anyone wondering Main ret Pally 110 bad gear, no skill at playing. 110 mistweaver monk and frost mage, both naked. 120 destro lock, great gear, but also naked. Mistweaver died fast so I brought in mage as a third bite.

Thanks a ton, this worked like a charm. I even used an alt that was on a different server. I only ran into one issue because of either A) the speed i was doing it or B ) because i had my alts Attack the queen. Either way, the first time i did it, my alts were not de-logging which caused me to not be able to bite a 3rd time. I solved this by having them not attack her and by simply alt+f4'ing off of my first alt IMMEDIATELY and then logging onto my main, having 20s to wait to bite still. After that I did the same routine as the video, and was able to re-log in on the first main for my 3rd bite. I even got confused (because i didn't realize there was no shadow's edge buff) and ended up biting my second alt a second time, for a total of four bites, and still got the quest complete.
Again, thank you very much internet stranger. I have people who would help me with this, but this is so much easier then asking them to stand around in old content and do nothing.

Oh man, thank you so much, today 24/10/19 it keeps working, as a comment below i used two windows of wow at the same time to log on faster, if you log in with your main in the middle of the fight and is dead, it´s because you need to do it faster

I tried with 2 alts but always got MC on the main tank
First bite Warlock
Second bite Shaman
When i log the rogue, warlock was MCED
Logged the warrior bite the rogue Killed the lock then the boss.
Works Fine! Tanks Man!
Soloed 12/10/2020
Do this :
Step 1. Bring 3 lvl 50 Alts.
Take gear and weapons off of Alts #1 and #2. Leave gear on Alt #3. (If possible switch all of their specs to tanking or healing, not needed)
Step 2. Log on main, attack boss and AltF4
Step 3. Log on Alt #1, attack boss and AltF4
Log on Main, wait for you to be able to bite Alt #1.
Bite Alt #1 then AltF4.
Step 4. Log into Alt #2, repeat step #3.
Step 5. Log into Alt #3, repeat step #3.
Step 7. As soon as you bite Alt #3 on your main you can kill the boss.
Got it to work on the third try by having two applications of WoW opened, I manually logged in instead of using the Bnet client to log in, that made me switch characters faster. If you find yourself dead when logging onto your main that means you are too slow to bite and are getting mind controlled. Thanks for the video btw!

Do not make the same mistake as me, brought my warlock as alt and forgot to dismiss my pet, so when I relogged my main the boss was dead...

Just did this today 11/22/19. Amazing work dude! I ended up using 3 alts as I couldn't bite the 1st alt twice. Other than that worked great!
The problem with the new Shadowlands expansion is that the alts now stay online even after you alt+F4 them.
As such the alts stay mc-ed and the boss wipes the group after just 2 bites.
I recommend having 3 alts since you cannot bite the first alt (for your 3rd bite) anymore.

still works as of the 14/10/2018. Instead of logging out, alt f4 everyone in the boss room so they dont teleport to the entrance before the fight starts

You have just to follow the video and don't loose time =>
Log Alt 1 > Log Main > Engage Combat, 1 or 2 shot, wait that the drain appears > Log Alt 1 (check drain) > Log Main > Bite Alt 1 > Log Alt 2 (check drain) > Log Main > Bite Alt 2 > Log Alt 1 (check drain) > Log Main > Bite Alt 1 > Kill the Boss

Edit: Did it on two toons in one evening. Emphasis is on logout/login on all toons used for the quest. Do it on all characters midway walking up there, for those having problems with being teleported back to the start of the entrance.
Johannes Perdal I’m doing it rn and when I alt+f4 to alt jump the boss isn’t in combat and my main is nowhere to be seen. What am I doing wrong?
WoWserJJ: It could be that you're not logging on quick enough, as you say, that the boss isn't even in combat. So you did start chopping the boss with your main, alt+F4 jump to first toon, your main is gone and the boss is not in combat?
TwoFiveOne: This sounds a lot like they are "phased".
WoWserJJ and TwoFiveOne: It indeed sounds like both of you should check that your characters are not "phased". The two reasons for that, as I see it, would be that your characters are not in the same raid group. Did both of you:
1) start a raid group named eg "Borat" under eg "Raid Legacy".
2) log on your toons, search your raid "Borat" and click for an invitation.
3) log back on your main to invite and -
4) log back to each toon to accept the invitation?
This process is also explained in the video somewhere early in. I guess just asking a friend to join and make a raid group would solve that as well. However this is solo after all. :D
Second reason would be that your toons are not in the same raid instance difficulty.
Check that your characters are on eg ICC 25 heroic, not ICC 10 heroic etc. As in, you're not supposed to down all bosses, up to the Queen, on each toon. You're supposed to join the raid of your main. Like: walking into ICC 25 Heroic and click "accept" that x/y bosses are down and you still want to join the raid instance. I'm not in any way trying to make you look silly! Just trying to cover all aspects as to what may be the wrong here. :)
Also, remember that you can't start ICC 25 Heroic if you haven't done ICC 25 normal first!
I hope this will resolve the issue at hand.

i highly recomend using 3 alts since with 2 the first alt will most likely get mind controled and you wont have a target to bite as the 3rd also dont use druids they switch to bear form and kill your other alts
I second this. I tried 3 times with 2 alts and the first always got mc'ed. Then i brought a third one and i made it.

The same happened to me. The problem for me was, that I was in a group and not in raid
I tried this and had the same result - boss in combat on main, not on alt. I had to zone out of the instance on my main, then zone back in, before I could see my main and alts in the same room. Before pulling the boss, Alt+F4 on your main and hop on your alt. If they are in the same instance, you will still see your main the same room. If not, zone out of the instance and back in on your main.

2019/12/04 This worked. I brought three alts just in case. Very time consuming to get everyone in the raid and into the right spots. I also have dual monitors so put up two WoW windows. This was FAR faster than alt+f4 on my HDD. THANK YOU.

Can confirm this does still work... However, at 120, be cautious that none of your characters are AUTO attacking! or.. have any sort of reflection of damage / pet because they will kill her while you're switching.

it doesn't work for me. I could pass them without issues (priest lv101) and reach the point where my DK must be standing in front of the boss. alt+f4, log the DK and can't see my alt nor the trash that he was looking before alt+f4. probably blizz saw this video and made some fix. :'(
For people having this same issue, the method has not been fixed. The issue is you are doing it on normal mode so it doesn't work. If you do it on heroic mode than your characters will go into the same instance. I know the video says 'Zone in ICC 25 Man Normal', but you can clearly see he is going into a heroic version of the instance. So if you have already started ICC on normal you are going to have to wait for next week to do it solo.
1.2.2019 and it worked. Had to do it several times but eventually finished it. Here's what I think happened. I went in with my main, cleared the bosses and stayed in the raid and invited my 2 alts. Turned the group into raid and go to the boss. Started the encounter, jumped on my first alt, but the boss has not been pulled and my main is nowhere in sight. Okay, repeated it several times with same outcome. So I turned off the addons and perma set priority of WoW to high. Did not help. Eventually I just tried this and it worked - get all characters out of the raid, start the group outside with my main, get all my alts in the group, not turning it into raid and just going as party. Got to the boss, started the encounter, jumped on my alt and voila it worked.

This would work for me but my pc hangs like 20+ seconds on character selection screen. My main turns into vampire before I get to load back in and dies. My pc should be good enough to load things quick but something makes it hang in character screen....
edit. Fixed slow loading by deleting cache and wtf folders.
you can also set your game graphicxs sertting all the way down, im gettting 1 second load times when i was gettting 20-30 with max graphics/addons
many thanks, did it too. Takes a long time to get organised , logging in and out, running in. I died when I did it druid, mage, dk. then I went druid, dk and mage and it worked! so stoked!
I get the general idea, thought of it too myself, but never gave it a try. I do however have a couple of questions.
How come you set it to 25 normal? Don't you need HC? Or was it a typo?
Don't you need 3 bites? I mean with 2 alts only and no apparent CR from main I didn't really count 3 bites. Or that was fast forward?
When I switch to my first alt I don't see my main. Is that a timing issue? I'm not ported back to the start but i'm in front of lanathel and shes just not pulled even though i alt F4'd on my main
I can confirm that the main is DCed after the alt+f4 and upom logging in the 1st alt lanathel is not even pulled and my main is not visible nor in combat :S

As of October 19, 2020, this worked for me. I needed 3 alts (4 characters total) because the first alt never logged out to reset the bite CD. It took about 3 attempts, but this worked amazingly if you can juggle fast enough and have a fast computer (disable addons it helps tremendously)
I have 3 alts (4total) My first alt doesent log out and gets mced, when I'm about to make the 3rd bite my 3rd alt dies and I get mced..
Edit: Switched from Blood spec to unholy spec on my main (DK) And this worked perfectly with 3 alt. Don't know if it had something to do with it or if I was just lucky but it worked for me now.
Did it today (20.08.2020) but I had to use 3 alts because alt one didn't log out. Did it 2 times with 2 alts and 2 times with 3 alts... because on the first 3-alt run my 3rd alt died (because he was only lvl 90 and I took all his gear :D ). And it's annoying to reposition every alt after you failed. But thanks god it worked on the 4th try and now it's on to grinding the bosses....

Be quick with the char swaps
The time it takes for a character to disappear once they go offline seems to have lessened to a small degree, just enough, it seems, to make soloing this quest with alts impossible. Just spent an hour trying to get it, my alts just disappeared too fast.
