Actual weirdos in some of these keys I swear. I hope this gets someone's attention at Blizzard cause that's literally intentionally griefing. Maybe a ban will help them go touch grass for once.
I hope but I don't expect it. Blizzard has let it get this far and we have been making videos on this stuff for years now. This is the worst though for sure.

Would love to have a follow up on this video to see if these guys got in trouble or not. This is exactly what the social contract is for and if blizz doesn't enforce it the contract becomes a bit of a joke.
@@FlatoutF82 You are saying the guy who was intentionally gripping people into their death then lying about it to pretend like he did nothing wrong is "quite the nice guy?" Is that some satire I am misunderstanding?
ok pause. if a pug gripped me into a mechanic and killed me i'd leave instantly. that would tilt me off the face of the planet. but i guess it's lilith's key so he just takes it on the chin. this tank/healer duo is just pathetic.
It's probably because of how burned and scarred I am by these things that I immediately assumed he didn't even notice it. You are probably right. He just took it on the chin to avoid the disband.
@@heythereguysitsMetro it's pretty hard not to notice getting lifegripped into a trap 100% he just wanted his key to be finished, which is exactly why these losers join other people's keys as a tank and healer. They *know* how desperate DPS players are to find groups at these key levels, and they are preying on it intentionally.
@@schmooplesthesecond5997 I guess you guys don't really watch this channel if you feel that way lol... We have seen all sorts of DPS cluelessness man. Have a look around. I think it may be that he knew and just pretended to be okay with it to finish the key, but there is an equal chance he was totally clueless or even just forgot that happened as it was like 25 minutes earlier. These guys playing Shadow this season can barely remember their rotation at times, it seems.
I would have left as soon as the priest gripped the shadow into the trap the first time. I have zero tolerance for stuff like this anymore, it's simply not worth my time.
Joking around in a key happens with buddies but to be toxic towards a random player in the key and then acting like they aren’t trolling the guy is comical. These losers live terrible lives for sure.
Right the actual manipulation of these other players is utterly scary. It's one thing to be joking around but to then behave like this indicates something way worse. We don't even know for sure how deep it goes. They may do this constantly and no one knows.
@@kfactor99this is the thing. If you have a tank and healer or a healer and DPS who are close friends playing together who want to troll each other in a way that won’t massively affect the outcome of anything in content that is effectively “farm” for everybody or homework I really think it’s okay. My tank and DPS friends and I used to do this all of the time when messing around. As long as it has no measurable effect on the outcome, then it’s just playing around. I had a tank/DPS friend who when we were running lower content I’d do silly stuff like grip him aroind or when on my paladin I’d BoP him when he ran back in and blasted his cool-downs. We were on discord and laughing about it between each other. To other people is just bullying. You need the pre-existing understanding and relationship and appropriate situation for this to even be remotely acceptable in any way.
When the tank says "Don't tell me what to do I will just rebel" tells you exactly the type of person who is behind the screen. Someone who probably has very little control over anything in their own life and does shit like this to get their little ego boost hahaha

It's important to not burn the keyholder who did nothing wrong early on; however they really were trying hard to tilt and mess up the shaman. Then gaslighting him (especially after the handicapped comment.) Good on you for exposing this bs. It's why I very rarely pug nowadays.
Ya it needs to be done. It's our duty tbh. I get why you wouldn't want to put but sadly if everyone offended by this just quits than these guys becomes more and more the majority. Big problem with the game after all these years.
@@heythereguysitsMetro I'm just lucky my guild is very active and loves keys, but this was very much my early DF experience. I hope it doesn't turn the shaman off keys. @@bubblelover714 well to be fair I have pugged probably 10k keys since legion. Never saw this behavior myself. And reviewed probably a hundred keys submitted to me if not more. Ya those days things were different. Problem though is back in the day people doing this were usually like these guys. Well established players who simply thought they were better than everyone else. insane to me as a purely pvp'r since vanilla that the pve comunity seems more riddled with toxic players. glad you are making awareness for it, keep the videos coming :)
Disgusting narsasist people in that group. The poor person being attacked I hope gets justice and the toxic players get a ban. This is absolutely disgusting behavior. And thank you for putting awareness to this .
That's just... I mean... I cannot even begin to comprehend hwo this kind of thing happens. These guys have to be legitimate sociopaths to be doing this kind of thing, and not only doing it but trying to pawn it off on the shaman who they are abusing, to further abuse the keyholder. These are the kind of people who decide they are bored with keys, cannot progress further or are unwilling to put in the effort to progress further on thier main so they decide to "have some fun in low keys" by trolling people. Now don't get me wrong, I have had a DK tell a holy priest to life grip me to my death (Shoutout to Sylandria for the BoP) but that was in raid, once, when the fight was already over. This is like someone who saw that happen, spent 2 years thinking about how to weaponize it, and decided to unleash that power in a low key "for the memes". Unacceptable on every level. These people are trash and their mere presence in our game soils every other paying subscriber. This right here should be the example Blizzard holds up for the changes they make in m+ that address bad actors. Because if they use THIS as an example, there can be no argument, and anyone who tries well, to slightly misquote a sentiment of the immortal Jesse Cox... LoL is right over there, enjoy.
Haha had to fit that quote in there huh. But ya the fact that they are trying to manipulate players is ultra scary. We say it half joking a lot. But this is truly sociopathy.
I've been considering coming back to WoW and getting in to M+ again, but realize I'm better off sticking to FF14.. I love WoW so much, but people like this should be RARE.. but in WoW, they are not uncommon to find.. a sad time in Azeroth
@@H41030v3rki110ny0u I would disagree. People like THIS are extraordinarily rare in WoW. Sure weird stuff happens and toxic leavers happen from time to time, but the majority of the pug community is actually just trying to get stuff done and are great people to be with.
@@kopitarrules Haven't had any players like this in DF so I second your opinion. They are not common, and any "toxic" players there are, you just need to know how to deal with them. I had a bad AV on a personal level dying a lot, and the spriest told me to turn my monitor on, among other things. I didn't get discouraged by it or anything, I just engaged in the toxicity giving it right back and we finished the key no problem, nobody got banned, everyone went their own ways and it was fine. Toxic players should be met with toxicity, and the biggest pitfall you can hit is getting upset or trying to take the high road. People in 2024 seem to forget the original culture of gaming stems from toxicity and competition. People are gonna get upset and talk shit, and people who can't take it shouldn't play the game then. Games should not become a forced safe space for the minority of people whose feelings get hurt, when the vast majority of players either don't care, or are more than happy to give it back when toxicity does arise.
I feel so sorry for the guy, I watch him and can relate to the issues that he has, when i saw this video I was enraged and I hope Blizzard looks at it and perma-bans those assholes. I didn't even see that first one in the original video, good pickup.
Yeah this kind of toxicity has no place in the game , let alone in a competitive mode like M+ Why can't people just treat people with humanity :( Hopefully this picks up some steam from a major creator, they're the only ones Blizz listens to sadly.
How can someone who is so "experienced" in the game and runs such high keys be such an antisocial person? People like that are the reason why it's so incredibly difficult for new M+ players to gain a foothold. Really unbelievable! I've seen many high M+ players give tips and try to help "worse" players instead of trolling them and that's exactly how it should be. The two in the video should really be ashamed of themselves!
Im not sure it's the same thing, but back in the early days there were always people from the top guilds on our servers fucking with our smaller and new guild. Some would even come and join our guild just to try to get parses or troll us in other ways. I used to call it "big fish little pond" syndrome. Seems the same thing happening here. These guys think they are above the players doing these keys, clearly. Meanwhile all they prove here is how shit they are at life. I guess being good at wow is enough for some though.
because they have nothing going on in real life. They play WoW all day, own nothing, dropped out of school, and everyday goes by and they havent achieved anything outside of progressing something in a video game. So they have to get all of their "achievement" and "praise" from the game.
@@xzalean Yup, and that magical IO number next to their name is their only pride. Wich is a emotion they arent familiar with, gone to their heads and act very strange. In a way this player behavior reminds me of the Pshero 1v2 at 2.7k mmr video that blew up a few years ago.
This reminds me of a time at the end of SL where i was prepping my hpal for the new expansion and I joined a 20 iron docks and as soon as I get into the group, 3 of the 4 other people (im assuming they were all friends) are like "damn looks like we are going to have to carry this hpal" and keep in mind, Im pretty sure I was only like 50 score under these guys on my alt. But the whole time we are heading to the dungeon, they are saying things like "I expect to be payed for this carry" and similar things. When we get into the dungeon, they keep spamming trade with me saying to pay them since "they will be 4 manning the dungeon essentially". So i decided to wait for the key to start and right as it did i said something like "have fun with your 4 man since you can easily do it" and then left the key and ran out of the dungeon and blocked and reported all of them. I dont get why people randomly decide to harass people for no reason.
I am new to retail wow this season. I main outlaw rogue and getting into keys higher than an 11 is difficult even tho I have completed 16+ in all dungeons. Oh ya? First time hearing that about these realms. That one we have been making videos on last few weeks is usually the one people bring up. Can never remember the name.
Kazzak/TarrenMill too, a old PvP streamer realm. They're forced to play M+ since PvP is kinda ass in DF, they doing content they arent hyped about doing and complain from start to finish at anything minor I ran to a caster mob that was standing elsewhere to kick it so it'll be easier to aoe everything down, Kazzak DH tank went: get aggro on 1 more mob without me and I will leave. It was the first pull of the dungeon, it was his own +2 key so I instantly typed alright, re-list your key. Im a super patient player if it comes down to mistakes, wipes, out of time etc. But I am done with player behavior like that, it only the 3rd key I left in all of DF.

I was really angry when I first saw this at Dili's channel, this wasn't trolling it was pure emotional blackmail. "Do what we say or we grief this guy's key because of you, but you'll be the bad guy." I can imagine how much the keyholder was freaking out, I bet he understood the situation but he didn't want his key getting bricked literally at the end so he sided with the toxic duo so his key gets finished. I wish these guys would never step foot into M+ ever again, but sadly I bet nothing happened to them.
Ya maybe. I hadn't thought of it that way. The guy was like the frightening dinner owner in pulp fiction telling Jules to just play along with the robbery. But these pug players are the week and the trolls are the tyranny of evil men. I'm trying real hard to be the Sheppard. Awesome excuse to use that quote, thanks!
That's why I never invite premades or people of the same guild (because there's that, also: One comes in and then "suggests" a guild mate). No matter the key level, the probability of geting a sack of scumbags who just want to laught at someone else's disgrace is just too high to risk.
I love this idea for a channel, because it's so bloody common to find people in this community with tall-poppy syndrome. The most toxic encounters I've ever really had with people in WoW is in dungeons and it's always the same kinds of people who are quick to point fingers but are totally unaware of their own mistakes. So this kind of analysis is great.
You'll end up getting banned for "Abusive chat" like me, for popping off on some lifeless trolls. Blizzard gm's have no idea what they're doing, and the auro-ban system is completely broken.
I'm one of DIllisan's reoccurring viewers, and thank you so much for looking at this and exposing this to a larger audience. Your analysis of this was completely spot on, and I'm glad more people are experiencing how toxic this community can be unfortunately
I think the most obvious indicator of just how pathetic this Priest player is, is the fact that he probably actually lied about who pulled that mob to his own friend because he was just too much of a loser to admit that it was him. Just think about that for a second, how much of a loser you have to be that you cannot even own up to such a simple mistake to your own team mate and have to pin it on someone else instead. It's incredible that such type of person manages to have an ego.
It hurt me to have seen this because I too have been abused by people in keys and yes, most of them are elite players with high scores. I learned the hard way not to invite duo's or even trios.
Ya step one is never invite a group of players especially those who don't need the key for score. Easiest way to avoid people abusing you and your key.
@@heythereguysitsMetro exactly this. its usually the healer being their target, or an non-meta dps who doesnt even have a chance to hit anything. yes its actually real abuse very often not just some childish insults. pretty scary because you cant even fight that mentality other than decline the high score premades in advance and /ignore if they try to flame you in whisper over it. if you are the one signing for pugs to push in any way its a whole different story, but if its your key you can prevent some of the worst.
This vid hit home. Just last week me(mm hunter) and my friend(ret pally) were running some alts through lower keys 3-5. We picked up a DH tank and his buddy for Algeth'ar Academy. First thing I notice is people are dying on the trash clear to Overgrown Ancient pulling aggro. Tank says "sorry my PC froze up". Hmm, ok. Immediately after the fight tank bolts off to the Guardian Sentry mini boss. We had a few deaths so we have some people that released and they're running back. I survived the fight so I go off with him. The tank grabs the mini boss without hesitation and pulls him closer to the landing zone on the small cross island so the mini bosses AOE covers the landing zone. Again we almost have a wipe as more people are coming over from the main land they're hitting the AOE as they land. Hmmmm... Next we head over to start clearing trash for Crawth. Tank aggros adds then just stands there and several people pull aggro off him and die. My friend pipes up in chat "WTF Tank?". Tank launches into this insane tirade of insults. We just boot the tank. Inspected tank on raider IO turns out he had like 3500 rating. I figured he was just trolling us.
If you play with a 3500io player just stfu and do whatever he does you don't have the word in the situation you cant think you cant do anything just follow , if he bully you just oil up

do i understand that correct: the priest heal falls off the cliff, pulls mobs, gets pepsid, then the dk and holy prob decide in discord or whatever that its the shamys fault. so they try to kill the shamy which would mean he cant contribute to the last boss. then they get mad because cant "kill without the shamy" ( who they tried to kill anyways?). did i miss something?

And people tend to perpetuate the notion of how toxic the PvP community is. I've never experienced anything this bad in 6 years of PvP and a whole expansion of high rated solo shuffle. PvE toxicity hits different.
ya well tbh this is a totally different type of toxicity. The thing about PVP is how dense any toxicity is at all. You can do 50 keys and only see real toxicity a few times in those 50, where you will see it far far more in pvp because people are stressed about losing to others. But PVE is like a diffferent problem all together because everyone thinks they are better than each other and they treat each other like they are trash.
i hope they do too i ran with these guys a day ago and they were trolling a +6 ruby key i was healing on my hpally. as i just returned being gone since the start and these guys were hardcore wiping our group just because of our server name. When i saw this vid and the names i just knew it was bad, i'm close to just requitting as i've had 3 groups done this way one by these guys and 2 others from Tichond server and its getting pointless to play when your trying to relearn the game and you got people like this.
As a player since vanilla through current, this is why I no longer do any dungeon. I quit doing raids, pugs, etc for the past 4 or 5 expansions. This is why... people are absolutely rude, attacking, kicking people... You can not be a casual player or a person new to the dungeon, and be treated with respect and helped or teaching people... Most of the time you get people like this and it totally ruins you experience. This is why I and many many other players quit. The problem is blizzard does nothing to help remedy this problem and behavior. FF does a way better job with their dungeon play and rules. It allows everyone to play and be welcomed.
First off, this is totally different than what you are describing. I understand your point and don't disagree but this is way beyond that situation. Beyond that, quitting does the opposite of what you think it does. When players who are not toxic quit, it allows the toxic players to be a higher percentage of the population, thus ensuring the new generation of players run into it again. Blizzard won't ever do anything about organic arguments in dungeons, so it's on us as a community to take a stand. Quitting does not help solve this problem at all.
I've been yelling this for months. Do not get keys downgraded upon not finishing or not timing it. Let people decide their own level of keystone! If you let them do that people can just leave mid-key if they see idiots like the tank and healer. Why bother spend time with them if you can find nicer people? The pressure of rating would drop enormous because there's no fear of downgrading your key anymore. People with normal rating would get invited again. People will be able to learn again in keys instead of having to do it perfect 1st time. The timer can still be there but it's not as pressuring as before. REMOVE DOWNGRADE ON KEYS. GIVE PEOPLE THE POWER TO DOWNGRADE IT WHEN THEY WANT WITH THE PANDALADY.
The saddest part is the SPriest who not only did not see any of the trolling that the other priest was doing to the shaman (which is honestly quite hard to miss, given that life grips are super noticable), or the super unnecessary language used by the dk calling sham handicapped, but he HIMSELF got gripped into his death early on and still didn't even think for a second that the other priest and the dk are in the wrong but instantly turned on the shaman. I mean, sure, it's a tough situation because he wanted his key to be finished and siding with the shaman to call those 2 out would probably have made them go on an ego trip and leave, but it's still really hard to watch him enabling this kind of shit instead of calling it out. Same goes for the evoker, who doesn't even have the benefit of this being his own key.
Dillisan is known for his zero to hero series. I think he does one each season. This could be that toon (I haven't kept up XD). Outside of that, behavior like this is insanely unacceptable. Are there ways to send in videos like this to Blizz on top of their report? I kinda wish there was.
Sadly no. And if you go to the forums to alert people or this you will be banned for doing that there. Pretty backwards. I can see them not acting when it's circumstantial but we have actual proof.
@@heythereguysitsMetro I've been timed out before for reporting people on the forums for exploiting/cheating. Blizz definitely needs to revamp their reporting system. Nothing gets done to the people that actually deserve it.

Pretty shitty behaviour. I hope blizzard actually responds to the reports. Also hope that these guys are made aware that everyone thinks they are awful.
Wish Blizzard had more spine and took a very firm stance on griefers/trolls like this, just straight bans for toxic behaviour, out of the game. Would gradually make the community a better place, so many strange/passive aggressive people on WoW these days in the m+ community, needs a clear out
At 6:36 hes a vdh main so hes letting it go off on purpose to avoid the shield since its easy to tank enraged and since his blood is an alt he likely doesnt know he can ams it on bdk is how i read it.
Wow I didn't even notice they targetted the key holder as well and I am surprised by how clueless the shadow priest was as well, this also just proves to not invite duo's especially with high scores to a low key because most of the time you get people like this.
As someone who plays this game way too much in stretches, I have seen overgeared/skilled players griefing in low keys too often. Hell even one of my push teams had a couple in the group that did it. I'm happy too see someone actively covering it.
I'm speechless, this is the most toxic shit I've ever seen in this game. I doubt their guild leadership really cares, maybe they are leaders lmao, but it would be nice to see them suffer some consequences like getting kicked from their raid team, if Blizz isn't going to do anything about it.
Ya the priest in this key is the leader on his mage hah. Super similar to a key we reviewed in season three where players who thought they were better than kop got him killed them blamed him and quit. Always seems to be comprised of players who think they are better than they are.
had one run in last season of SL, mechagon JY, tarren mill DH tank was deliberately killing the whole group every pack by pulling so much and so recklessly only him could survive that, self healing so much and basically soloing all packs while the rest of us were running back, i really hoped he would leave, but no he stayed until end griefing us all the way, only to mock us at the end that he was "so nice to us to boost us for free". seriously the boosting business is the worst thing to ever have happened in this game, not only so many ppl are a part of it on either side and fully accept is as something normal, but even if you arent a part of it in any way and just want to play the game on your terms, some elitist will rub it in your face as an bully assault in such awful runs.
That's the pug life, you are either stuck searching for a group or gambling when inviting people into your m+ runs. I once committed the mistake of inviting a 4 man group to my 20+ key back in shadowlands, they had higher Io than me. Once the key started they all left immediately. Blizzard needs to implement bans for these kind of players, they just ruin the experience for everyone.
For situations like that one and this one, 100 percent. After the changes yesterday though I think they legitimately just don't want people pugging so probably never going to see it.
If this is the most toxic pug you have encountered in playing WoW then I think you have been blessed! Was it bad? Yes! But not even close to the most toxic I have seen. When I was still healing I had a player tell me he wished I would get cancer and that if I had kids they should be euthanized so that wouldn't have to have me as a parent.
This is the most toxic because it is totally unprompted. Most arguments take place because of something that actually causes frustration in keys. In this group zero things happen to cause any tension. But as always if you are running into crazy stuff please record them and send them in! Happy to expose this behavior.
Bit extreme. I'd just want to see them silenced for this. Being silenced means you can not interact with the premade group finder. So they can't pug. A life time silence would be fine with me, but that's probably still too harsh. Some action should be done for sure though.
@@nikolaikalashnikov4253 right, funny stuff there. They actually admit he is valuable! But if you can't tell, they are lying about that to pretend that's why they wiped. They have multiple items fail to die and the boss would still be killable.
Look I'll admit I enjoy some trolling here and there in pugs (a lot of trolling if it's premade with friends) but this isn't trolling! This was targeted harassment. They started by targeting the shadow priest for missing the kick but because they don't get a reaction they move on until they get a reaction from the shaman and once they got what they wanted they kept pushing for more reactions. Again I love trolling in my groups, pulling someone back so they cant go ahead of me was my go to troll on my priest, with the occasional pull into a stupid position (try to get them to fall off somewhere or get them stuck on some rocks) but outright killing someone in a key on purpose isn't trolling it's griefing. I hope these assholes and anyone else who engages in similar behavior gets banned and honestly barred from any game that isn't pure singleplayer because they clearly aren't capable of playing nice with other people.
Ya this is way beyond joking around. At best it's bully mentality. At worse its true sociopathy. Seeing this in the wild always kinda shakes me a bit. You never know how deep it goes. This likely isn't the only time they acted this way.
Is it impossible for you to just use English words to make your point? Man it's so hard to read that and take it serious. It's not an "L" it's a fact of pugging. Sorry, but if you invite some one who actually needs this key instead of these clowns you have a much much lower chance of this nonsense happening. Why take the risk?
@@heythereguysitsMetro lol, if you can't understand what i've said, maybe you're the one with language issues buddy, but i can see you're on the defensive so ill give you a pass. you miss a kick in pvp you lose the game. it's over. people are allowed to just sit there with an entire group of people and simply not interrupt in mythic+? LMFAO this is what PvE is like in WoW? LMFAOO
Where are all you pvp clowns coming from on this video? Its actually wild that you pretend like you are good at this game yet know nothing about it. You really don't know what a low key is? This is the equivalent of like 1500 arena rating. How can you be so clueless that you don't realize that?
@@heythereguysitsMetro mythic+9 is still hundreds of hours of gametime in experience compared to a brand new player... they have five seconds to stare at the screen and press a SINGLE button (an interrupt). it's just mind-blowing to me that the skill lenience is that high
a more punishing and challenging experience increases satisfaction for the player (albeit initial frustration in the learning phase) and prevents situations like this from even occurring. it's evident that blizzard recognizes this since they're making a regular mythic+0 equivalent to the current mythic+10 in TWW.
@@jackLoveX that already happened in season four... No offense man but you have no idea what you are talking about. Best to stick to what you know. @@heythereguysitsMetro Nah, then this is equivalent to somewhere around an old Mythic+19, and the players are still too unskilled to use an interrupt during a huge casting window. The world is a difficult place, and being sensitive to behavior on the internet is just sad. Nothing horrible happened in this video. This entire video is a REGULAR day on the internet back in the early 2000s. Not a fan of creating a world and environment where everything is easy for everyone, toxicity on an online game hurts people's feelings, etc. Anyone who is genuinely harmed by behavior over an online game is so screwed for having to make it in the real world. They will have an awful time ever getting past the real obstacles in life (whether those be career-related, relationship-related, getting out of poverty, or just achieving ANY goals whatsoever). Make the game harder, lift the social contract, return things to their hardened and dopamine-generating state. Actually winning and getting to the top of ANY ladder (PvE OR PvP) will be so much more satisfying. "The behavior shown here is despicable!" (Meanwhile it's just a video of people trolling in an online video game.) Giving the dorks/trolls in this key a platform, even in a negative light, just makes them want to do this more. They got fifteen minutes of fame from this and are clearly mentally ill already...
We have seen that one a few times now on the channel, but its always a little different. Send anything you have that you think is worth reviewing in now or in the future!
Turns out there was more behind the story that Dillisan forgot to mentioned. After some leaked discord logs came out it turns out that Dillisan had gotten very heated in an earlier key(which is not streamed to hide the content). He intentionally grieved a key that one of the friends of the priest and tank was in. He even hinted to it in an earlier stream which he then removed to cover up everything to seem like the victim. All links and logs have been removed so they are left with no way of defending themselves. It disturbs me that he still uses this altered content to play the victim just to get more attention. There are always two sides of a story, the person with the largest platform gets to alter and dictate history...
Source: "just trust me bro", you are pathetic lol how in the world would you know he joined that key when only the keyholders name appears before applying to a group? Your little story falls apart when the key holder was the first one getting griefed with a grip into avoidable damage for not pressing his kick on the warscourge.
I don't invite duos or more for this reason. Chances are they're willing to fuck around and make everyone else miserable, especially in a key they don't need for score.
Ok that was a terrible runs with absolutely garbage people, but the conclusion "don’t invite duos" and "don’t invite high rio people" is asinine. There are plenty of high io people just wanting to chill in weekly or test a build or whatever and it’s absolutely fine to invite them. Not all high io people are garbage human being, wtf is that take.
Why do you think "all" of something have to be bad to suggest this? I am really confused why so many people keep saying this. If even ONE group of 2 people has the possibility of doing this, why ever gamble on taking them when there is zero chance of it happening if you just invite 5 strangers? Pugging is enough of a gamble as it is.
@@heythereguysitsMetro I mean, there’s absolutely a chance for this to happen with 5 strangers. There’s always a chance for bad thing to happen, if you’re set on not risking inviting assholes, you should just not m+ with strangers at all. Groups of 2 people have absolutely nothing to do with this.
@@Senen33 No no no. Don't mischaracterize what I am saying here. It has nothing to do with "assholes." There is a ZERO percent chance of two people colluding to troll the key and gaslight its other members into thinking they aren't doing anything wrong. This type of thing will ONLY happen when you invite two or more people who are friends and likely in discord together for the run making comments about the group as it unfolds. There is always a chance for disbands, bad players, failures etc. That exists equally with a premade of 4 being invited or with 4 randoms, sure. But when you invite a premade you ALSO welcome in new types of issues, and as such I recommend people avoid them. If you want to pug your keys and play with friends, start your own group. If you want to pug into others, do it solo like everyone else.
@@heythereguysitsMetro I literally already seen this type of behaviour in a fully pugged key, so... You’re literally just putting absurd and arbitrary restriction on who to invite for zero real reason. And you’ve poorly argued about the "duo" thing but you also mentionned in the video to not invite high io players in a 9 and that’s an even worse take tbh.
17:55 is really insulting to those of us who don't play in keys UNLESS we have at least one other person to run with b/c pugging by ourselves is absolute hell.
What you are saying here doesn't make any sense. If you feel like pugging is "absolute hell" why are you doing it at all? This is not about you though, so stop making it a personal thing. It is simply sound strategy. Inviting a group is more likely to lead to failures than inviting four singles. Nothing to be offended by and plenty of ways to work around it.
okay I had an experience similar to this two weeks ago it was with a dk tank it was my key at +10 since the dungeon started he was complaining because he was thinking he was carrying me and he even wanted to me to pay him or he would leave making everyone wipe and doing big pulls he tells me this in the middle of the dungeon my gear was a little lower like for a +10 but everything was fine nothing bad had happened and we could do the dungeon perfectly when we finished with the 2 boss the dk starts to complain a lot because he don't want to carry me and immediately leaves the dungeon and then starts insulting me and spamming and saying a lot of things like you are the worst rogue I have ever seen in my life at least if you want to make a +10 you have to pay me and you need at least 2 iq points to do a +10 just quit ur horrible then he started talking bad about my mother why? idk but i told him not to talk about her because my mother passed away about 3 months ago and I really don't know why he did all that when he joined the group he could have seen my gear or just left but he preferred to waste my time besides insulting me for like 20 mins straight and I only have a month playing wow im a new player I really didn't expect to find someone like that...
Not all duos do this tho, my husband and i play as a duo, we dont usually do raids or dungeons , but when we do , we are genuinely trying to learn how to do it. the trolls keep us away . ill just stick to soloing , its worked for 20 years .
I obviously never said all duos do this. Do you think I'm stupid enough to think 100 percent of a population all behave the exact same to bring that up?
As a healer who pugs,i've had this happen to me and other people over and over,in mythic plus and raids.Blizzard has the tech to stop this, reporting people does not help.Penalties for bad attitudes and key depleting is not strict enough.I got told to KMS only two days ago in panda remix because i asked someone who was not moving in a raid to move.....
Well that kinda interaction is reportable and they will be actioned, that I know for sure. But in general I agree. Blizzard needs to be doing way more on this front.
and this is exactly why I carry around magical intrusion dampeners at all times. prevents life grip and rescue from evokers, my buddies love to swap blast each other off cliffs and its sometimes its funny but sometimes its tilting
Usually when I cap my gear I just que lower keys to help others. It is so relaxing to delete everything in front of you and help the others time it or pass on the stuff you don't need.
Sadly I look at that as helping. People getting carried perpetuates this issue where players never learn and expect others to do the work for them. Not saying you are doing anything wrong, but if you want to help there are better ways than to carry them.
Also there is an item called Neural Silencer Mk3 which makes gripping people, rescuing people, or slow falling/levitating people impossible. definitely recommend. That doesn't excuse the priests absolutely toxic behavior
I agree with what you said at the end about it being scary. It is sociopathic/psychotic to me for people to act so remorseless and troll/grief on this level. Just insane.
@@TheDistingueOne ya that's for sure. To treat others like this then try to lie about it to trick them into thinking they aren't doing anything wrong is really abhorrent
O M G! This happened to me and my friend two days ago. I just lvl'd my pally wanted to run some keys since it was the 4 m+ weekly. I started the group waiting on a tank DH tank Qd with a hunter. The hunter was massively under geared but the tank has a 3600 io. I was like oh he's helping his buddy oh fine so I invited them. The tank is being a little suspicious from the start. It was a 4 AA and he wasn't holding threat when he pulled the whole first room but I didn't think anything about it. Killed first boss tank runs way ahead uses air bridge pulls the air elemental to the landing spot so everyone that lands gets stunned or instantly killed. I bubble out and live. We use the air bridge and go to the birds tank just stands there doesn't even auto attack birds eat my face, it's just me and him there. I release and say wtf tank? He replies back by saying "stfu you bold fat f*ck". I'm in discord with my friends and he's like kick him we'll break it to a 3 it doesn't matter because this tank is being an ass. So I kick him and his hunter buddy keep the other rando and fill it with a significantly lower heated tank and dps and 3key it. Mean while the tank is whispering me just blowing up on me and linking his top 1% achievements and just really acting like a fool. I reply by asking him if he's okay? He keeps on. I'm like I'm sorry who are you? Just antagonizing a little at this point. He final stops whispering when I won't fight back and I reported for griefing not that anything will happen. In your video you say do not invite duos. My friend and I group together all the time and are solid behaved players but it usually takes a bit to get into a group. Now I know why!!! Not all duo teams are like this. There are genuinely good players that just pug together and don't troll. But these jerks like this are ruining for sure.
Ya sadly that kinda thing can't happen if you don't invite duos so better to just not gamble. Especially if some one is boosting some one else. But if you are running into wild stuff consider recording them and send them in for review!

@@delrachdubal geuss you didn't watch the video huh? Really hope you aren't trying to say classic is better either. That would not go well for you at all.
No, the only thing going now is private servers. Retail players are worse than any toxic private server player anyday. Classic was good in 2004, not anymore. It's all about wrath (Warmane Icecrown) or Mists (Stormforge) now.
Ya sadly that will happen. It's all part of it and the only way forward is to set boundaries for what you are allowing yourself to get worried about or just grow thick skin and carry on no matter what.
Always have your "neural silencer" with you, it prevents you from getting gripped, had once 2 evokers in group, the always made me pull some packs with "rescue", very annoying

@@smashtactix not a reasonable response here. This video features something I personal have never seen in 8 years of pugging, and even standard toxicity is still not common. Give it another shot, invite better players and record the runs.

@@Sunsworn this is in a league of its own for me. This is totally unrelated to the actual key and no argument even takes place. It's pure sociopathy. Cold and sadistic.
this is insanely scummy. even if (giving maximum benefit of the doubt and assuming they werent paying attention at the time) some of them thought that the pulling of like 2 extra mobs was his fault (since he said "pulled") this would be an insane way to react to that. if they have eyeballs he very clearly didn't pull it. but the fact that he didn't pull it doesn't even really matter because they were being scummy before then and everything they did before and after would be inexcusable even if he did pull a bunch of extra shit.
There is an item or a toy I think, that provides immunity from friendly players using forced movement on your character. I recommend keeping that thing handy if you plan on doing M+ with randoms. Edit: it is called a neural silencer, it immunes you to leap of faith among other annoyances.
This is why I hate pugging. I will run with friends who push by their own freewill much higher than I. But I absolutely don't understand this mentality. And I heal. Please know not all priests are a-holes. I only lifegrip ever if its to save someone I know I can, not think but know who maybe bad at mechanics. That's all .
New to the channel and your community seems super awesome, Mature, Skilled aswell, Watching your vids makes me want to reinstall Dragonflight and give mythic keys a shot. I've NEVER done them before and they seem like they would be super fun. I just don't know where to start, what to do, etc. Everytime i try to understand what is going on, i get yelled at or kicked from a group. (Been a WoW player since OG TBC). So i've just been sticking to cata.
I think that saying "never invite a duo" is a bit harsh. I always play M+ with my buddy and we always do our best to go to the end of the key. Some key holders actually invite us back to do another run. I think that the problem there is the nature of the ppl. that is inevitable. Unfortunately, we're going to end up with people like that in a pug. Whether you like it or not. The lesson we take away from cases like these is to pray that we never again fall into a group with people like these. btw, great review. I really like your videos.
Thanks, ya it's nothing personal. There is just no benefit to inviting a duo or larger. Random people who don't know each other won't ever do something like this, but sadly we have seen a lot of evidence of it happening with duos.
Might’ve been commented already, but on second boss it’s a good and viable tactic for no one to get eaten when the boss is on low health, all it does really is enrage an easy boss to do more tank damage; and you don’t have a shield to waste time on. Priest shouldn’t have been in the circle anyhow
Ya it's just too coincidental that the tank tells people not to soak them the priest gets hit. Makes me think he was trying to grip people in or something.
If I worked for Blizzard I'd start deleting their gear 1 item at a time while they watch, then every hard achievement, then their characters, then lock their accounts forever.

@@SmokerFace12 Perfectly described. Totally agreed.
Simply bully mentality honestly. They think they are above you. If you run into wild stuff like this record it and send it to me for review!
I am new to retail wow this season. I main outlaw rogue and getting into keys higher than an 11 is difficult even tho I have completed 16+ in all dungeons. So often times I do weekly 8s or 10s just for mythic vault slots. When you say never invite someone who doesn’t need the key is them just doing weekly vault runs not something you consider?
It's more of a statement for progression keys. Obviously if you are just looking for vault have a ball.

Oh ya? First time hearing that about these realms. That one we have been making videos on last few weeks is usually the one people bring up. Can never remember the name.

They're forced to play M+ since PvP is kinda ass in DF, they doing content they arent hyped about doing and complain from start to finish at anything minor
I ran to a caster mob that was standing elsewhere to kick it so it'll be easier to aoe everything down, Kazzak DH tank went: get aggro on 1 more mob without me and I will leave.
It was the first pull of the dungeon, it was his own +2 key so I instantly typed alright, re-list your key.

Can't own up to it as some one who has done a 19 to boot. That's fucking scaryyyyy

I would be in favor of it but I doubt blizzard would be. Would likely require more systems for it to work.
Ya its hard to know his understanding. Maybe he was trying to get the key done at any cost, or maybe he was just utterly clueless. Hard to say.

had one run in last season of SL, mechagon JY, tarren mill DH tank was deliberately killing the whole group every pack by pulling so much and so recklessly only him could survive that, self healing so much and basically soloing all packs while the rest of us were running back, i really hoped he would leave, but no he stayed until end griefing us all the way, only to mock us at the end that he was "so nice to us to boost us for free". seriously the boosting business is the worst thing to ever have happened in this game, not only so many ppl are a part of it on either side and fully accept is as something normal, but even if you arent a part of it in any way and just want to play the game on your terms, some elitist will rub it in your face as an bully assault in such awful runs.

After some leaked discord logs came out it turns out that Dillisan had gotten very heated in an earlier key(which is not streamed to hide the content).

He even hinted to it in an earlier stream which he then removed to cover up everything to seem like the victim.

The second i see a non-premade/non-friend priest in party Neural Silencer is used specifically to prevent the troll grips.
Very wise tbh
Where can I buy one neural silencer?
@@lilpuddin1560 auction house.
@@lilpuddin1560 AH - Neural Silencer Mk3
It has nothing to do with "assholes."
There is a ZERO percent chance of two people colluding to troll the key and gaslight its other members into thinking they aren't doing anything wrong.
Those are the ones you wanna record and send in for review. Happy to expose that type of behavior.
If its not a Guildie key, I'm not doing it.
Does that make it hard to progress?
Not all duos do this tho, my husband and i play as a duo, we dont usually do raids or dungeons , but when we do , we are genuinely trying to learn how to do it. the trolls keep us away . ill just stick to soloing , its worked for 20 years .
I obviously never said all duos do this. Do you think I'm stupid enough to think 100 percent of a population all behave the exact same to bring that up?
You come across as a clown tbh
"Animal bracket" is the term we use among my friends.
Haha
Ya, I imagine its more likely tilting than funny haha.
I never even heard of magical intrusion dampeners though!
Only Neural Silencers.
@heythereguysitsMetro it's an engineering item from bfa I think that you can buy on the ah. Pretty handy to keep a few on hand.
Ya I forgot about that item tbh.
Dig the video, dig your voice and dig your content. Appreciate the spotlight in these issues and happy to support! Def earned the sub!
@@jdubby654 thanks, means a lot.
That's some of the most awkward toxicity i've seen in a while
@@user-cp9id1mj8b oh ya this is beyond toxic tbh.
When I was filling report on a game bug i found, I think you can add a clip of the video or picture if you have it, and make the report but instead of the bug of the misconduct, no??
Hmm maybe. Not to my knowledge but obviously you'd have to have the footage linkable. Not likely if its happening as you do it.
I can't leave Outback until I eat or Satan will take my soyl

I have 6 years time played and haven't touched wow in years. This is the kind of shit I don't miss..
@@machinelfgaming well luckily something this bad is extremely rare. But ya I feel ya. The community is the worst part of the game for sure.
This key is exactly why I never invite groups to anything I'm listing. I don't care how over geared or how high their score is.
@@CitiesForYou ya it's for the best sadly.
This is all summed up in 3 words:
"Welcome To Retail"
@@delrachdubal geuss you didn't watch the video huh?
Really hope you aren't trying to say classic is better either. That would not go well for you at all.
Yeah and if this was classic he wouldn't have even been invited into a group to do anything
No, the only thing going now is private servers. Retail players are worse than any toxic private server player anyday. Classic was good in 2004, not anymore. It's all about wrath (Warmane Icecrown) or Mists (Stormforge) now.
I’m new to Mythics and it’s my first time seeing videos like this. Now I’m afraid to pug in high lvl people or lose my key upgrade
I forgot all about those!
Evoker's have a very powerful shield they apply to you though.
Priest grip is just useless though.
I think we've all been in pugs like this once or twice. Kudos for calling out these players.
I have never been in a group this bad, but ya its not uncommon generally.
My pleasure to call them out though. This needs to stop.
This is messed up! I enjoy helping low keys when I don't want to push, and it's fun helping players. Makes me super furious
It's scary behavior tbh.
this is why i would not even try mythics any more, after 1 mythic in DF and getting some sweaty dudes run me off the whole way as i was slower than them and they where like you said over 1k over the key its not worth my time or brain cells. thanks for the vid.
@@smashtactix not a reasonable response here. This video features something I personal have never seen in 8 years of pugging, and even standard toxicity is still not common.
Give it another shot, invite better players and record the runs.
This is everywhere, i would have to say though the most toxic would be the ones who suck but will argue to the end that you suck and they are awesome, then the group wipes and everyone leaves.
Oh ya it's pure gaslighting. Absolutely despicable. Scary sociopathic behavior.
There is an item or a toy I think, that provides immunity from friendly players using forced movement on your character. I recommend keeping that thing handy if you plan on doing M+ with randoms.
Edit: it is called a neural silencer, it immunes you to leap of faith among other annoyances.
correct
This is why I hate pugging. I will run with friends who push by their own freewill much higher than I. But I absolutely don't understand this mentality. And I heal. Please know not all priests are a-holes. I only lifegrip ever if its to save someone I know I can, not think but know who maybe bad at mechanics. That's all .
Oh ya I know almost no one does this haha. These guys are just hugely bad actors.
Well if you have any specific questions just lemme know! We talked about the anxiety elsewhere, but I can for sure help you with the information part.
Hope both of these toxic players get perma banned, just report hem on sight
Ya sadly they haven't been, but they should be permanently silenced at least.
If I worked for Blizzard I'd start deleting their gear 1 item at a time while they watch, then every hard achievement, then their characters, then lock their accounts forever.
Lol well you wouldn't work there for long but gotta love that vigilante justice! You'd be a hero to the people.
