  • I will be fully bleeding out my Mazda 6 brake system of the old DOT3 brake fluid and replacing it with DOT4. Using a brake bleeding kit with compressed air. (The same reservoir is used for the clutch ).

I will have this Mazda for a long time. There are loads of video people asked me to film. Ah, front bearing, without the right tools that is a difficult job.

😳 Oh wow, it is cheaper to buy all the tools and do it yourself.
Idk, that' s actually for you to decide, could you buy the tools you need to change the bearing and the new bearing in the 240 euro price or cheaper? ( in the end you keep the tools)

Very informative and well made video 😊 Your videos become better and better. That is a handy bleeder tool you had there. Mine is a bottle with a silicone hose, like yours, but i have to push the pedal a little until clear fluid comes out, it does give me the same results as yours did, only your method makes it even easier.

😅 Well that brake bleeding kit was cheap (£10). The only expensive part would be the air compressor 😂
Classic water bottle with a hose through the cap. 👌 This is how it used to be done in the good old times.
Your method is great, too. I had to use the kit, to make the video short.

Hello Klavs, another great video. Thanks for that!
I have a problem with my GH (2008/ 250,000km) on the front axle. when I drive over bumps I have a metallic "clunk" on the left and right. Do you have any experience with changing the strut bearings, or should I not change the shock absorbers at the same time?
I would be pleased to hear from you ;-)

      Hello Claus.
Oh, this could be anything, starting from antiroll bar link to antiroll bar bushes, balljoint or any rubber part worn out.
Best would be to look at the parts and see yourself, to check for splits and cracks in the rubber. ( Worn out rubber you will be able to move by hand) Grab a part and try to wiggle it. If you see split rubber or it has a lot of movement, time to change that part.
You can change all the suspension if you want, just make sure to get a wheel alignment.

My ask you i have promblem my car mazda 6 gh hatchback 88kw 1.8 16v mzr burn a lot engine oil, about 1litar/500kilometars, and where i ask somebody mecanics they says (they want about 2500-3000€ only for engine to remove, did well and agin put in car) can you sent me video how to remove engine from mazda 6? Is ford c-max 2008 1.8 16v 89kw same as my, a can buy cmax engine with garanti for 600€

    • @KlavsX_
      @KlavsX_  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

That is a lot of oil. I would recommend you to take the engine apart and see what failed ( the reason why it burns oil).
There could be many reasons why.
Best possibility would be a bad head gasket! That would be a cheap-ish fix.
If you don't want problems stick to the same manufacturer, Ford cmax would be a really bad idea.
Get the same engine from another Mazda. That would be the easiest and best.

@@chaangasakalla4903 Do not bother looking for the same unit. It looks beautiful indeed, but the boot up sequence takes too long, and as far as i remember from Klavs's update video on his, he said the response time between each selection is a bit slow. But there are units out there, shaped perfectly for your Mazda 6 with much better specs :) You should go for one with 4GB of RAM or more. Maybe Eonon has new units in stock?
