Explorer in two tone doesn't make much sense to me but I am pretty happy otherwise. I am just not happy with the current situation where you have to buy stuff you don't want in order to be "eligible" to buy something you want, and it's feeding resellers and people who already have a lot watches.

You raised some great points. Peoples expectations just seem to snowball out of control so nothing Rolex do can possibly live up to what the diverse Rolex fan base (and haters) expect. This felt like a very consistent announcement from Rolex and very much in step with the last few years of announcements. There were some things I really liked with this announcement, some things I was ok with and some things I liked less but that’s ok.
Innovation and Rolex should not be in the same sentence. They are the Rolling Stones of the watch community. They stick to their roots and recycle old ideas. They are great at it but innovation??? Take a look at some Orient watches.. mainly the Bambino line. Now imagine if Rolex came out with a line like that? Rolex fans would lose their damn minds.

Pleased to see the Explorer going back to 36. It just looks right. Lots of people have slim wrists.
Agreed. At the end of the day, people just want to complain. Watches should be fun, at least that's how I prefer to enjoy the hobby lol

I agree. People just like to complain. And tbh, Rolex doesn't care. Keyboard warriors aren't exact who Rolex are targeting.
