    Happy Thanksgiving week, fam!
    Some of y'all might've noticed that JOIN button (if you’re viewing on Desktop rather than Mobile) that TH-cam switched on. It's a new feature and I added some things that I thought could be fun. Busi chipped in too with some work on the Emojis. If you have any ideas for some perks, feel free to drop them. Thanks to everyone who supports the channel by becoming a Member, and no sweat to anyone who doesn't--you won't notice any changes around here and I appreciate you just stopping by.
    Have a great week and see you in the next vid or livestream.

      Sweet Ginger Brown. How sweet it is ... In the moment is the best Andrew great job on the video as always. Oh, Yea, as I mentioned to you, but I'll tell your viewers I played poker for the very first time. I entered the $340 buy-in tourney. I hit the quads I had the best day it was an incredible blast. Both Andrew and Brad are classy classy guys. Busy is a sweet, sweet lady fun group. May you all have the time of your life with everything you do..

      @Andrew Neeme Hey can you come to Ameristar Kansas City? I am a big fan and started watching a few years ago before I started dental school. I currently work in the poker room at Ameristar Kansas City and would love it if you could make it in.

    I had one of the favorable hats at that table. Didn't get any Bradley dollars but I did make quads and win the maximum, so the magic is still real. THANKS FOR COMING BACK TO GRATON! It was great meeting and playing with everyone even if I couldn't stay the whole time.

    As close as you can to being at the table is the way you do it. When you watch sports, they don’t ask players what the game meant a week later. That actual moment after the game is what they’re trying to capture. You do a great job!

    Love love love the way you played the K10hh. I like the check on the flop also because it protects your check back range. When players never check back the flop with a king, it makes their check back range too weak which allows the preflop raiser to barrel barrel on turn and river pretty excessively. Great turn sizing. And I think river sizing should be exploit, depending on your table image and your read on the opponent. If you think he's kinda tight, scared, this is a fine size because he rarely has better than one pair here. If he's all ego and afraid to be bluffed and you guys have been banging, I'd go 1.5x since his range is pretty capped. Love to see you crushing.

  • @thecolttuf

    I got a question about rake, so where I play, I play really low stakes limit, either 2-4 or 3-6 or 3-6 kill. My question is the rake is 10% with a 4$ max in those games they also have high hand jackpots every half hour so they take more money than just the rake out of every pot and I’m just wondering if that rake seems extremely high for the stakes of those games? And if they are over comeable?

    • @AndrewNeeme
      @AndrewNeeme  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think that's a standard rake for those limits, but what's interesting is that the rake only slightly increases as stakes get bigger. Take 2/5NL in Vegas for example: Most poker rooms take 10% up to $5 maximum. So only a dollar more but for bigger stakes/winrate. Some rooms take that same amount for 5/10NL. Therefore, you're much more affected by the rake at the lower stakes.
      I'm not sure whether it's over-comeable at low stakes limit, as I don't really have any experience there. But it definitely has a big effect.

    • @thecolttuf
      @thecolttuf 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That makes sense, thank you! And I just discovered your channel and really love the content! Keep grinding!

    • @thecolttuf
      @thecolttuf 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      So do you think it would be more efficient to to play 3-6 or 3-6 kill more consistently being the pot is bigger, so you winner a bigger pot with the same amount of rake taken out? But at the 2-4 it is strictly amateur players (older people, people that just wanna gamble) that play so the game is really easy. So that is also a factor. Not saying I’m good at all but it is easier and I have been pretty consistent on cashing wins in that game. Thanks for your time!

    Always an up and down session neeme it seems haha, nice score though!
    The vlog has got me thinking, I think what separates you from a lot of poker players who play lower stakes, and the newish type of poker players who are losing money or only getting small wins, is that to become a better player and a more profitable player, you've got to take the hands you lose "bad beats," with an open imagination, the fact you got the aces cracked and didn't seem to tilt, you stayed patient and got rewarded with them later on in the session vs the queen's. Whereas I know plenty of players that tilt from the bad beats far to much and burn money on fire.
    It's refreshing to see the mindset you need, that we can all improve on.
    Keep up the good work man!

    I honestly don't understand people watching this kind of video and then clicking the dislike button, either they are here by mistake in which case just leave and onto next video or you are interested in poker in which case, what was there to dislike, I really don't understand the mentality behind it, maybe it's other vloggers eh :)

      He only tipped a $1 on a $350 pot, should have tipped $2, that could be a reason. I used to be a big tipper but you learn the right etiquette after a while but just a buck... cmon.

      @@refinedsugar agreed but not just the internet, I used to live with a girl that literally said the opposit of everything in every conversation, if you said it was quite nice today, she'd say she thought it was a bit cold etc, I think she did not even realise she was doing it, just a way of getting noticed I suppose in their mind !
