  • Tons of action to be found in the poker room at MGM Springfield over two full days of cash games. The MUGs brand officially makes its way into Massachusetts for a landmark event, and I'm just out here trying not to get bluffed out of my shoes... AGAIN.

RampagePoker I just don’t buy there’s a strict rule against filming at encore . I was just watching a live stream that a gambler was doing of their drawing just a few minutes ago. I’m sure they don’t let you do it , but I don’t think there’s a hard and fast rule and you shouldn’t have been forced to delete any videos that’s absurd

Poker IS more folding than playing actual hands. Ask any one of these poker vloggers, or just any person you see on a regular basis while playing poker. Just the nature of the game. If you play ever single hand you're dealt (93os, 72os, etc) your loss factor is going to increase. The only difference there would be, if you're playing 1/2 and you get to limp in every time.

    Hi Andrew,
I started watching your videos from the first vlog thanks to a random TH-cam suggestion. I love the work both you and Brad have done. I live in Boston and was very excited when I heard the fabled MUGs were coming to my state. Even more, 2/19/20 was my 30th birthday. I was ecstatic.
Unfortunately, I tore my Achilles tendon 3 days before the MUG. I was recovering from surgery on my birthday and was unable to make the trip out to express my fandom and play alongside you and Brad.
This video was incredible and I am wistful that my injury kept me from being a part of it. Thanks for all that you do, and I'll be on the lookout (once recovered) for the next time you are in the area. Keep crushing your content, poker, and life!
    Ryan

He told me that simply wouldn’t be enough that I need to focus on ranges and the power of being in position basically. Brad sat next to me and I never got to play a hand with him either, because I went all-in with QQ with 66 on the flop, like a fool.... but against a very loose aggressive player known for playing almost anything, but this time - she had quad 6s.

Just a thought- I was thinking with the 22s hand, it seems like the only hands he would lead out on the turn with would be AQdd for flush/turned gutter or maybe a two pair type of hand. I don’t think he would lead out with a naked flush draw and if he flopped a combo draw with flush and w/either gutter or open ended straight draw he may have check raised flop as you bet kind of small or maybe he would’ve led out. If he did have a combo draw I don’t think hes all of a sudden going to lead out on the turn apart from turning a gut shot with AQdd to go with his flush draw. Since that’s only one combo of a flush draw that he has, as I don’t think he has a naked flush draw or 79dd 710dd Q9dd Q10dd or 910dd, I would be inclined to call the river, because if he doesn’t have AQdd, he probably has some two pair hands that he thought you might be checking back on turn and wanted to bet to get value on the turn and then river.
On another note, we could discuss how you were blocking his pair of 2s 😂

99 was a simple call. instantly put him on 56 on the turn. He's trying to protect his draw by putting pressure on any over pairs to the K (88/99/TT etc). River takes away any potential draws he could be on, flush/straight, and he just isn't going to check raise the flop with a set (or at least shouldn't as the board is dry and favours him if the initial raiser has an over pair and will get action no matter what). He played it strangely, i'd have called the flop, check raised turn and then jammed the river to put pressure on you.

Yeah. Eff stacks in vid are a bit off also. They weren’t quite that deep. I was at the table. The A5 jam was spewy.

Thank you for coming out to the northeast. Unfortunately, I was cleaning up at the 1/2 table (Clearing $337 in 1.5 hours) before I could get a seat at a 2/5 game. I was able to watch you and Brad finally play live before I was called to a new game. I was hoping to last the night. But, within 25 min I got busted for $537 with all-in v AK. He spiked the A on the flop, which was (neither FVRBL nor good) and I did not improve. Hope you guys had a nice visit.

You just have to sigh call 22 there on the river imo. He doesnt have many flush combos when he donk leads the turn. Flush draws or big draws usually play in flow there and check the turn to you.

I think the call at 21:42 is pretty good against population. I mean there’s so many bluffs there, I doubt most poker players are able to balance this with a big enough value range. Good shit Andrew!

  • @dochmbi
    @dochmbi 4 ปีที่แล้ว

8:50 This is actually a pretty nice bluff by the Villain because Neeme can never have a flush here, given the line he took. He would bet flush draws on the flop, yes, but on the turn he would never raise a lead with just diamonds. Therefore Villain can call turn and hope to draw to his bluff-out of a diamond and get Neeme to fold all his 2-pair and sets.

So ironic Andrew. We met at Hawaiian Gardens at the beginning of the year. What I mean by ironic is that on Saturday night I had K-10 off-suite at a $4-$8 game. The flop came K-10-8 rainbow. Flopped the exact same two pair you did. I raised when it came to me. Luckily I was the button and could see what my opponents would do and how many callers there were. Oh my...here come the turn. I got so much better when a 10 came and I had the full boat on the turn. Very similar hand to that first hand you had. I just improved and actually won about $120 that put. Just so weird we had the exact hand and the same flop. Crazy.

This is so crazy Andrew. I really like 2-2. Especially against five or more callers. I had quad 2's twice at the same $4-$8 at the Gardens. Just crazy hands you had. We're we even playing at the same table almost? Just incredible luck we both had. Although I didn't like that A-5 suited hand your opponent played against your A-K off-suite.
