Highlite of just how pathetic and unprepared the UK is for electric vehicles, you have a choice run out of electric or get a parking charge while you try to charge your vehicle to get home don't ever buy and electric vehicle the inconvenience is unbelievable and the cost of electricity is ridiculous

Why would it take 5 hours to charge? unless you had a 500kWh battery pack! @ 50kW, it will take 45 mins to charge. Out of all the electric vans, the e Transporter has got to be the worst ever built and screens as being a compliance van.

The van takes approx 5:45 hours on a standard charger the video is based on standard chargers you find in shopping centres etc so they encourage you to shop which most people do for more than an hour meaning your car needs parking for more than an hour but the charge spots only allow upto an hour so in essence you have to park for an hour then go back to your vehicle to move it or get a ticket, I saw a car in Manchester last week on charge with a parking fine. The van is absolute dog shit if you set off and it loses traction it sounds and feels like the guts are being ripped out 🤣
