Hi Dan, just wanted to let you know that I really appreciates that you successfully blended audio quality with supreme comfort (I’ve heard other good closed backs but they lacked comfort or weren’t portable at all). In the pursuit of audio quality, I personally think that comfort and being able to forget about your gear plays a big role in being able get lost in the music. In that regard I think you’ve really nailed it! They are so comfortable for me and I have a great time with these! I can’t recall how many times short sessions became long sessions as I kept telling myself: “One more song” 😄
Definitely will be purchasing the closed back version as soon as I can. Very clever design- I’m always amazed how compact that case is! These seem like they’ll fit the bill perfectly for commuting
Kind of embarrassing but I really was searching for a "how to" on how to wear these headphones. I was getting jaw pain but loved the sound so I put up with it. I followed your recommendation of pushing the headphones back and aligning the side behind the jaw and WOW night/day difference. I really appreciate you going into detail about this!
I adore my Aeon Flow 2 Closed and Ether CX. Really love the products you put out, and cannot wait to see what you have coming up. The focus on comfort is something I really appreciate especially because I wear glasses.
I've had my Aeon Open for over 2 years and I've loved many hundreds of hours on them. You're the man, Dan, I'll never forget coming to your office in SD to try them out one last time before buying them. I've been thinking about checking out Aeon 2's and the newer Ether but I'm a bit afraid of walking away with a significantly lighter wallet :) Keep up the amazing work, you rock!

Got a pair of Aeon 2 Closed recently here in Berlin and I love them. The comfort and the sound are exactly what I had been searching for. One question though: You cannot fit the cable into the pouch and close it with the headphones in, right? If you can, I'd really like a video showing how to do this. ;-) So far I take the cable in an extra bag when travelling.
Hi there, and glad you enjoy them! Yes, the cable can fit in the case, the case may bow outwards a little with the 6.8mm cable, but it was designed to flex a bit, that keeps the case as compact as possible. The XLR is generally too big and should be external.

Should I upgrade to a more expensive headphone amplifier and connect it to the line-out of the sound card? I listen to rock, metal, I want more bass. What do you recommend? Who knows tell me please.
