Great idea! I am installing mine tonight and using this tutorial as reference. Didn't have a rotor saw, but I was able to cut through the bracket with a strong pair of cable cutter pliers. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the walkthrough!
man.... i was just looking at the instructions and saw that they wanted the battery disconnected, the headlight removed and disconnected , yata yata and i was like "nah, someone on youtube found an easier way im sure" lo and behold! Nice quick vid, thanks a lot man!
La idea de cortar el soporte para ahorrar el desmontaje de los intermitentes me ha parecido una fantástica idea. . Tomo nota porque eso es lo que voy hacer. Muchas gracias y un saludo .
👌Makes you wonder why they didn’t think of it. Great workaround. Maybe manufacturer thought vibration could loosen the opened bracket end and therefore shake it loose. Can’t see it myself, just check as part of a routine observations.
If you wanted to remove an already mounted fly screen, could you do this process in reverse (ie, make the cut in the bracket whilst it’s attached to the bike)?
I haven't noticed any difference with the wind, it's too small. Keeps bugs out of the controls, hides the wires a bit, and gives me a spot to mount a camera 📷
You could also show complete look of the bike rather than just focusing on the windshield for the entire duration. That would give a better understanding. Thanks anyway.

I don't understand why they designed the brackets that way?! Such a simple change makes it so much simpler and easier to install (or uninstall.)
Royal Enfield, pls make the improvement to the bracket as done in this video, great idea and much simpler.
Cutting the slot for the wiring was a clever work around. I think I'll do that as well to avoid the wiring ball ache.
Yes, as long as you have the tools to cut the bracket it makes it so much easier.
Brilliant short cut so glad I watched this video.

Golden tip on making the cuts mate.
I followed your lead and it’s 👌 Thanks.
Thanks, glad is helped. Makes it so much easer!
What a genius idea ❤
This is ingenuous and yet simple
Thanks!
This is brilliant! It took half an hour for me to fit the tall fly screen. As per the guide!
Thanks! Yes, a slit in the bracket makes the install so much easier.
Fantastic video, great short cut saves lots of fiddly unnecessary work.👍
Thanks - yes, I don't understand why they designed it to be more complicated than needed.
Thanks for the install tip!
Thanks a lot!! Simple and easy!
Great video to try this myself. Have you noticed any shifting of the screen without the notch?
No shifting, no problems at all. The notch doesn't affect it.
Great videos Jerry. Keep it up! Ride safe!
Thanks, will do!

My thoughts exactly, makes it so much easier and is just as secure.
You are a freaking wizard!!! Thank you for making this. Gonna try it out next weekend. How big did you make that cut for the cable to fit through?
Thanks! I cut it just wide enough to slip the wire through.
was wondering if we could just fit the black visor excluding the metal part up front
@@rohanth17 You don't need the metal part. You can mount just the black visor. Photo of the screw mounts here i.imgur.com/V75ASvg.jpg
@@RideWithJerry cool thanks
What are the extra bolts in packaging used for? The extra 2 shown earlier
Longer headlight bolts. I didn't need them, just used the existing bolts.
Muy bueno el truco para no tener que desarmar todo el farol !
Thanks!
Great solution!
Thanks!
Nice edit with the spray lol
Ha! Thanks... that's about the limits of my special effects and editing skills :)

It's possible but would be difficult. You would probably cut the indicator wires when cutting the bracket. I would not recommend 👎
what tool do you use to cut the mounts? is that an angle grinder
Yes, I used an angle grinder.
Hey Jerry, how well does this deflect wind? Do you notice more balance at higher speeds?
I haven't noticed any difference with the wind, it's too small. Keeps bugs out of the controls, hides the wires a bit, and gives me a spot to mount a camera 📷
Well crap! I just saw this after installing the hard way.

Brilliant!
Very nice video my sweet bro
Thanks
What headlight is that?
I got it off Amazon. There's a link to it in the description. I also show the installation here th-cam.com/video/Cpyw6VqpvhU/w-d-xo.html
@@RideWithJerry is it any good?
@@RideWithJerry what about your indicator and tail light?
Why dont you cut second one?...i have done it....its easiest way to remove and put this useless visor shit...
I cut both... don't need to show it twice in the video
