Nice video. I did the same to mine it along with brit custom exhaust. Makes beautiful music. Quality pieces and a bike constructed with high quality. 👌
Great job! But I would have liked to see more of the completed product from a cosmetic perspective. And yeah, slide a cheek off, keep your spine in-line with the bike, roll that shoulder out and get your head behind the mirror. You'll find you have much more lean angle to work with.
Nearly bought a 900 Thruxton in 2003 but saw a 955 sprint n bought that. Later rode a 900 and it had no power. The sprint and the 600 tt were quite fast. Then i bought a zx14 then azx14r....200 hp plus is just so easy.... anyway am saving for the 1200thruxton r which ive yet to test ride...but a 100hp in a 200kg frame should be grunty enough ...then there the mods to get more...air box, cat removal...yummy im 65 and so excited!!!!
Help! Anyone who has done this and still has your old airbox lying about, I need that little round plastic cap on top of the box. Freeze the video at 0:46 - that one. Can you help me? I’ll pay reasonably.
What are you jacking up or where please? When I unbolt the rear shocks and jack up the frame the rear wheel stays up it doesn't come down. I don't want to have to remove the rear wheel entirely. 2004 thruxton
non at all more h.p. ?? more noise sucking air ..yes ..good sounds .. worth it in cost NO .. just remove air box inside plate , and if it rains you keep going ..
great video no bull cap just shows what has to be done. thank you
He made it look like a choreography. Excellent. Now do it on the 1200 .

Absolutely brilliant film, thanks for the upload!
Nice trick removing the top shock mounts to avoid silencer & wheel removal! I’ll have to do that when I make this mod
BRILLIANT VID...A Big thumbs up
Fantastic looking and sounding bike 👍
Thanks for the video.

that's what i did to mine, complemented mine with a fender eliminator, and it looks awesome ;)

dude, the thruxton1200R is absolutely a beast. I have tried it.
Ok the dramatic music a bit overkill but appreciated the point - not going to be that big of a deal with a good kit.
One of the nicest Thruxtons I´ve seen so far, great job! What mirrors are those?
the bike is hella clean!
You should see mine
AWESOME

1.19 just about lost it
Shit on the pants ! :-)
@Travis Thornton I think it was, when looking at the video in slo mo... ! Scary.
Did you re-map the EC after the install? if so, which map?
What are you jacking up or where please?

2004 thruxton
Almost a shame to cover up those lovely K &N's but great work, looks easy to fit too
it's ok, sometimes i do open up the cover to show off a little bit. :D
He nearly loses it at 1:17.
Made me going "WHAA'hh" @ 1:19
Dam!!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🔝
Awesome kit and bike ! So there is no jetting or any carburetor work needed with the pods added on ? Thanks let me know. And where do I find the kit ?
this is the EFI model, I did not run any remapping after that. so far so good.
Amigo donde compraste los cubre polvo y el manillar
Tenho uma no Brasil.
How much power if any is gained with this and the ECU mapping?
Did you already remove the O2 sensors and Intake? After this removal..did you Remap the ECU???
Yes O2 sensor removed, and yes i did remap the ECU. Hope this helps.
got it done..love the sound..and the feeling of an extra gear
What is the purpose of this substitution? I see that the motorcycle kept its original appearance. Thanks for the video!

1:17 was a nail biter
not sure what happened there, did he get a speed scare?
@@amardeeptaggar2115 looks like a front brake grab
so what holds the carbs /efi from falling off the rubber clamps
Did you feel a difference in performance?
With carb models, do you have to rejet if you do an airbox switch?
Hi, I don´t know too mucho about motorcycle, but, what´s the befefit to change the filters, and some things of the air system? Looks very good.
i personally think the power has increased.
Why do I want to do this? Do I have to wear my hat backwards to make it work?
Almost ate it on that curve.
i know right. almost died.
ชุดแต่งของ thruxton 900 ซื้อที่ไหนครับ
Jolie
At 1:17 catch corner what happens?
You should loose the Big ugly battery as Well... would like to see how its done
How much HP did you gain and are you using an aftermarket ECU like a Dyno Jet V
no, i didn't use any aftermarket ECU. I did not remap it too. It was running fine so far.
Are skinny jeans required for this mod? Just asking for a friend because he's got kinda a big caboose if you know what i'm say'in.
Quiero saber cuánto cuesta uno nuevo esa moto
What is happening at 1:50?
What brand was the toolset?
they are SATA
my GAWD that fucking music...
How come we don't see this video on the Wee Bros you tube page and I think some more are missing
He almost died at 1:19
Wow quite a pain in the ass
Very cinematic/dramatic video...though a bit "poser", but absolutely horrible installation "how to".
thank you, i will do better next time. But this is all I have in my house.
1:19
needed new undies
oops
Why -- in god's name -- aren't you talking? Absolutely a lost opportunity. Can you not afford a mic?
Really? This was step by step and a very good video as we watched. What more do you need?
Talk about what? I think the guy who picked this soundtrack for this movie deserves a damn medal. It's just awesome!
Teresa Turco If you're gonna shoot, shoot. Don't talk.
