I totally agree with you. The Thruxton is a very comfortable bike to ride, even for longer rides . Some riders--myself included--prefer the slight lean angle of the Thruxton riding position. But it's not for everyone. This bike is so well thought out. This is a bike that you can take to a 100 mph and not miss a windshield!
Would you prefer black? I have a similar feeling towards the Ducati 1100s. The Sport Pro has gold Ohlins, and the Tribute Pro has black Marzocchi, and I think the latter look better.
The chrome looks great! I have the "Ton Up" from 2022. Got Arrow slip-ons. Got the Analog tail tidy. Short Triumph LED's up front. Very good video you've done!
Hey, I’m using the Quad Lock brake/clutch mount. It’s ideal for the Thruxton, or alternatively use their fork stem mount. I did a video about this recently. Use code TBM10 for 10% off. I hope that helps 🙌🏻
That's a superb question. I've not experienced one with a front cowl, so I don't know what I'm missing. They certainly add to the looks, and if it makes it more comfortable at high speed, then it's a win win :)
I have to agree with Christian, two very different styles, and the engine is tuned differently, but both will have you grinning ear to ear. A test ride is the way forward :)
@@TheBritishMotorbiker Agreed it's a personal thing, but the Thruxton is universally acknowledged as a beautiful machine and aside from sorting out the the tail end; most of your changes would make it look worse.
What you need to understand is that once again, you're putting your opinion over mine. I agree it's a beautiful machine, but I wouldn't want it to look the same as everyone else's and I feel these changes would help with that. Let's leave it there, shall we, or do you want to keep going back and forth?

Love this!
I can't get over the fact how beautiful this motorcycle looks.
Except for the golden forks. I really wish they would stop doing this to most bikes. Often looks out of place especially on classic designs like this.
It's a real head turner!

Really good review/Q&A... put a deposit down on a Final Edition last week and May cannot come quick enough!
Thank you so much for the support. The Final Edition is a beautiful bike. Enjoy your purchase!

I wasn't familiar with that model, so I just had a look on Google. It's awesome, and the mods you've made sound spot on! Thanks for the support.
I must say this bike suits you. Also, amazing work with putting this content together 😍
It will hopefully end up in the TBM garage one day :) Thank you, Julie!
Great video my friend!! Lovely bike. Thanks for the shout out 👌🏼
Thanks so much, buddy. I'm glad you approve, but I should have got your permission first. Sorry!
Great q&a Conor 👏🏻 thanks for the mention
Thank you, Ray. You’re very welcome!
If the single seat is holding you back, they do offer a dual comfort seat and rear peg kit so you can take on a rider.
I genuinely had no idea that was an option on the Thruxton. Thanks for letting me know.
Great presentation. Fantastics looking bike.
Thank you kindly!
What is the telephone mount your using? Cant find one that fits my thruxton.

does the tank scratch easy?
I intentionally kept any zips or other metal hardware away from it during the loan. I wouldn't want to find out the hard way.
Do you think these bikes need the front cowl or not?

Nice vídeo!
Thank you!
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!
@@TheBritishMotorbiker No, thank you for content you legend! ✨☺️
Hipster ...I was thinking of riding a 100 miles ...and never did.
That’s a first
Thruxton or Bobber…… trying to make up my mind….
Those two models could not be further apart as far as the riding position is concerned. Do a test ride.

Slash cut and high exhausts on a Thruxton? I really don’t think the bike is your style at all. Stick to the Scrambler/Rebel things
Each to their own, my friend. The examples I’ve seen look brilliant.
