      No, it is 2mm alloy steel.

      Josh Cota yep got me there! Sorry about that. Looking at my information the black bumper is made of a steel alloy mix that is designed to reduce un sprung weight for maximum suspension travel on the front end. So a long way to say it is not in fact plastic. Sorry for the earlier mistake.
