Chetna just want to say as I reflect on 2023, your channel has been a balm to watch while I eat, company so many times this year, AND inspirational/instructional as I migrated to a gluten and dairy free diet to reduce migraines. I still enjoy watching all of your recipes even if I need to modify or not eat some and you’ve deepened my flavor palette and comfort with lentils and dried beans!! THANK YOU!! So grateful.
Yummy. I made paneer with long life milk. I was surprised how well it came out and was super fast. Just long life box milk and a lemon. I always thought paneer had to be made with really creamy fresh milk but nope.
From what I follow, your channel came as a suggestion to me. I am so glad I did. I just made these and my son loved it. True you can’t stop at one. You have some amazing recipes. With these balls, I color them with Panko breadcrumbs when I fried them in the air fryer . Came out great Thank you very easy to follow and tasty recipe
Hi. I i made these this afternoon to take for new years. I used leftover mashed potatoes. I didn't have any paneer so I left that out. I used spring onions and added mint, and bit of curry powder . They turned out great and were a hit. I served them with the yogurt and chili sauce as well as mango chutney. Delicious 😋 😋
Hi Chetna, thank you for sharing your food recipes! Whatever I have made from your site is always a hit :) I was wondering if its possible to make the vadas a day before and fry them on the day of serving?
It looks sooo tasty. I will prepare this soon ! Million thanks for your amazing recepies, your chanel is a real inspiration for me day by day. Happy New Year dear Chetna to you and to your all loveley family ! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I’m planning an all Indian meal for lunch with the family next month. I’ll be serving your chana masala and a salad. These vada will make a perfect appetizer.
the only reason is to keep it together, chickpea flour will not have the same effect and will also completely change the texture and flavour of these vadas.
Thought you had to dust these in bread crumbs or flour before frying. Glad to see that they fried perfectly without an outer coating. Can these be added to a sauce for a quick curry?
You could put them in the air fryer or bake them too. Won't taste or look the same. Shallow frying will have to be done over a low flame so a proper crust can form.

beautiful.... gives me loads of ideas. Thanks. Chetna.

Just made them. I used gram flour rather than cornflour and added a little beaten egg to help bind the mixture. Delicious
Sounds great!

Yes you can!
@@FoodwithChetna great, what would be the best way to do this? Freeze or fridge?
Would love your mango chutney recipe please 😊
Its in my book, link in my description

Thanks for another super quick and easy recipe. Would these freeze well?😃
You are welcome. I am not into freezing but should work.
@@FoodwithChetna Thank you!
I really want to try this, it looks SO GOOD!
Appreciate your simple style. Also that you don’t use plastic bags, gloves etc. Looking forward to more in 24.
This looks soooo delicious! Thanks Chetna!!
My pleasure 😊
Not a big deep fryer fan.. could you spray with oil and air fry ?
Yes you can . It will work out well.
What is the garlic and chilli oil you used? Xx
Cant remember now, buy a different brand every time.....
@@FoodwithChetna thank you ☺️
please put the ingredients/measurements in the description
You can find very detailed recipes with pictures in my books and my website. I dont need to type them out here.
That is just brilliant it reminds me of falafels! I don’t use seed oils however so fry in coconut oil and hmmm…
enjoy
Can’t wait to try these 🤤
enjoy
Very nice my dear. I need all the ingredients to make that snack.
enjoy
👌💕
🙏🏽
👍
Can’t wait to try them!
Could I use chickpea flour instead of cornflour as I have a bag of that in. Love your channel ❤

try it this way, you will love it and yes use some in a curry
I love vada. I was thinking it might be possible to use this mix in a paratha too 🧐
I'm reminded of pommes dauphine. It would take longer but you could beat the alu paneer mixture into choux pastry before shaping and deep frying.
Great idea!
Yummy 😋
thanks
Its hard to find paneer cheese where i live , you have any other suggestions i could use ?
You could grate some carrots or just make them with potatoes.
Would this work in an air fryer?
These opened up in the oil though the temp seemed right :/
As I mention in such deep frying videos to always check with just one in the oil, in case they open up add more cornflour
Please put recipe beneath video thank you.
The video is the recipe. written recipes can be found in my books and my website
These look so amazing but I'm so scared of deep frying! Can they be shallow fried? I know it's not quite the same!
You could put them in the air fryer or bake them too. Won't taste or look the same. Shallow frying will have to be done over a low flame so a proper crust can form.
