    What separates you from the crowd (in my opinion) is the high level of 'feel' you maintain even at high speeds.. That my friend over the pond is why I keep coming back for more.. There may be a better word than feel but you catch my drift.. Awesome thank you.

    Great Wanja! I'm not a big fan of just blasts in general but you actually made this interesting. It was groovy and super tight. Enjoyed every minute of it! I've never seen such a technique!

    Some people look at this style of drumming and say it's too simple and easy. Yeah? We then have a go ya mug. And show me how smooth and consistent you can drum like this for hours and hours without getting tired and keep up. Death metal drums are awesome! They are like a sledgehammer to a little nail. Because the sledgehammer always wins 😤

      Thank you! How different direct link feels to chain really depends on what direct pedal exactly you have and how you set it up. I have set up my Demon Drives in a way that they feel almost identical to my old Pearl Eliminators (which had chain drive). Some direct drives tend to have a very non-linear feeling, which means that the resistance of the spring is suddenly super strong just before beater impact - a bit like the red cam on the Pearl Eliminators but more extreme. Other than that chain and direct drive are not that different actually (although companies always make it sound as if direct drive gives you more speed, control, accuracy, whatever).

    Nechtan, I use the same pedal as you but I play with the official beaters that come with the demon drive. I was curious as to which beaters you're using and why do you have a preference for these over the official beaters? Great content btw

      I use Sonor beaters just because they are a little bit lighter and I like the sound of the plastic side - more attack!

    I appreciate the kick speed and the practice it takes to get there,but it has nothing im a metal player and all around drummer and just get bored with this .I need some groove even when I play 200bpm metal .
