The reason the hoses are disconnected is because they bleed the air off the cars before they pull them because if they put air in them if the air lines separate with air on them the car will lose its air and go into emergency and then it won't roll to its assigned track.

I thought i was the only one that noticed the unhooked air break line then i seen many of them.
